Kay Jewelers at West Ridge Mall got me in for a jewelry cleaning at 10 minutes until closing. They were very happy to take care of my jewelry and keep my diamond warranty up to date. Very courteous in service!

So here we are a little more than a month from our wedding. We bought the rings from Kay Jewelers before the COVID-19 shut down, so we were lucky that we got them sized and returned. Now my fiancee’s wedding band is falling apart, broken stud, cracked where they sized it and Kay’s only response is drive two hours away to Kansas City and let them look at it. Here’s my prediction, we go there, they take the ring, and we don’t get it back before the wedding. You would think that Kay would adapt to the current situation, like a lot of companies, and figure out how to take care of customers, especially after they buy an item that is meant to last a lifetime and by the way, the cost of the ring isn’t adding up to the quality that they promised.

I cannot say enough about the ladies at Kays here in Topeka. They make you feel welcome the second you walk into the store, take time to talk with their customers so you dont feel rushed or pressured. They are friendly, knowledgeable and fun. I have been in this store at least once a month for the past 4 months to buy something new and it is because of the outstanding service I receive each and every time I go. I typically work with Courtney (not sure on the spelling) and I cannot brag on her enough, but every one of the ladies has helped me out. Seriously, if you are in the market for new jewels, this is the place to go!

Got my wedding set, and my husbands ring, here twenty years ago. Theres been staff changes, location changes, but what has never changed is that we get great customer service. Just picked my ring up after they replaced a stone and tidied up the ring because of twenty years of wear and tear. The ring looks great, the repair time was reasonable, and I am more then pleased! This has been my jewelry store, and will continue to be. Thanks, Kay staff, for your continual good service.

I had a ring that was sized very small upon my initial purchase. After the sizing, several diamonds started falling out and becoming loose. This store has such amazing staff and customer service. They not only made sure to quality check my ring (without being requested) after each repair, but they also offered to have a ring in my size personally made so that this issue would discontinue. I am SO beyond impressed with the customer service I received, despite all of the horror stories I have heard in the past from customers experiencing similar issues.

My husband bought my engagement ring and wedding bands from this location...I feel like they have been in the shop more this year than they have been on my finger. They sent it in to fix a prong and ended up changing the head on my engagement ring. I called them out and said it wasnt the same ring I sent in. The man working told me well its close enough I made them send it back. I got it back with an adjustment that looked shotty and cheap. I called the managers attention to it, she agreed and sent it back to the shop yet again. I went to pick it up a 3rd time and it is back to the different head, again not my ring. Now they are telling me they cant get my head anymore...I called customer care and have yet to hear from them...I just sat on hold for the customer care rep for 8 min and was sent to voicemail. This is the worst customer service ever.This is just this recent incident. I had major issues in the beginning, I should of just demanded my refund then and went somewhere else.BEWARE! Find a local jeweler!!!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! My husband bought my wedding band and engament ring there. He got the warranty on both and weve had my rings serviced 3 times now. Each time they give me a promise date of when I would get it back. Ive never gotten it back in time. I finally called the 1800 number and they told me that it could take 2 weeks to 90 days depending on which shop its sent to and that it could get sent OVER SEAS! The 1-800 person also told me that they should tell me which shop its being sent to when I drop off my ring to get worked on and give me a promise date based on that. Thats never happened. MY ADVISE- FIND A LOCAL JEWELER. I guarentee they would do a better job.

Not sure where to start. First time I bought the ring wasn’t offered the 0% financing. After I got my “Kay Card” in the mail and seen the bill and that there was a 0% financing available at the time. I called the card and they instructed me to go to the store and have them change it, that they could change the financing terms. I called, got ahold of Becca who told me and insisted they couldn’t change it. Well a couple hours later they found out they really could change it. Now back today. Went in to spend the $200 gift card they gave me for my troubles above. Decided to get the diamond ring cleaned. The Jeweler inspected the ring and found out 4 diamonds were loose. Keep in mind we just got the ring back from getting sized 6 days ago. I purchased this ring a week before Valentine’s Day. They had the ring for two weeks to get sized. Now they need it for another two weeks to fix the prongs. Oh and the sales lady is old me there was no in house diamond jeweler in Kansas City who could fix this the same day. After calling Customer Care again they told me I could go to Jered in Kansas City and have it fixed in house.This place doesn’t know anything about customer service. Not sure they know two things about diamonds. I was told by Becca the “Assistant Manager” that Yelly wasn’t suppose to handle “Bridal”. What in the hell is she doing their if she can’t sell Bridal.But the Store Manager Kathy was there today and Ms Yelly sure Seen I had a problem but didn’t invite the Store Manager over to fix the problem.

Went to Kays today to see about fixing two enhancer rings I had bought at another jewelry store. Lakin was so friendly and patient with me while I figured out what I wanted to do. Ive had multiple problems with these rings and she found a beautiful replacement that accentuates my existing engagement ring. And for a reasonabIe price! I regret not getting the original enhancer rings at Kays because all the problems I have had would have swiftly taken care of at no cost to me. Lesson learned and Ill never go to aother jewelry store again. I highly recommend seeing Lakin and Kays for your jewery needs!

Don’t go here! I repeat don’t go here! Me and my fiancé got engaged in July 2017. Once we got back from our vacation I waited a week to get my ring sized. But once I sent it off that was a total regret. They claimed it would be two weeks I called a couple days before the two weeks and they gave me the run around about a diamond was loose and it needed fixed. Ok so I got my ring 3days late but that’s not all my ring had two cuts in it from the jewelers tool. So they claim they would add gold to it. Nope turns out they shaved gold off of it decreasing the value of my ring. I of course flip out only to find out they would ultimately be replacing it. I was to get a ring remade and get it October 31st. I called a week before hand to check on things and Kathy claimed it was in quality control so then call two days later and my ring not is not fixable and I need a new one made. Ok so she tells me November 22 I will have my perfected ring. Not the cas again they called my fiancé a few days ago saying it will be January 2018 before we get the ring not sure where this case is going to go but definitely not happy I wish I couldn’t even give them one star poor service not what we expected at all.

Special ordered a necklace for my Wifes birthday. They said it would be here on the 25th of February. When I called on the 26th of February they told me that it would not be in until the 23rd of March. No one can do anything but tell me that the receipt says the 23rd of March. I guess the salesperson that looked me in the face and said that the 25th of February would not be a problem is not accountable for her actions. They sure took my money for the Special Order. I will get a refund and NEVER spend another penny in Kays. Every kiss will begin with Helzberg or Zales from now on!

Fing rip off. Spent 6000 bucks just to get the run around for 3 months. Ended up getting my money back and I went some place else. Customer service is something theyve not heard of.
