This place is horrible... I avoid it as often as possible even though its 3 minutes from me... They charge me retail instead of wholesale like everyone else in Houston, they charge me to deliver free material that they will eventually turn into mulch for resale... For me its worth driving an extra 20-30 minutes to get better service, quality and quantity, RAC off 249B is where its at!

I was on their website, saw great sounding locally sourced organic options... then NO CREDIT CARDS?!?!? WHY would I go get cash for this when it will cost me easily 30 minutes to do so and I have NO record of my purchase of a few hundred dollars? I have not seen a no credit card sign in many years, even the small local farmers at local markets take credit cards! I AM SO DISAPPOINTED! :~[

Had these folks picked out to deliver 6 cu yards of garden soil and 5 cu yards of mulch for my landscaping project. Called to place my order, only to be placed on hold and forgotten. Waited a while and called back, only to have no one answer. So I gave up and called Living Earth instead, and got prompt and courteous service.

For the third year I ordered mulch from Mulch King. Very Pleased the first two years, but this year they brought only half as much mulch as I ordered, but insisted they had brought the right amount. (It didnt cover even half the yard when the same amoutn ordered in prior years and as specified by my gardener was more than plenty). They treated me as if I were lying even though I was a regular customer. I will never order from them again.

Great place, great people. Prices are about the same as other places.
