Amazing coffee! They roast their own beans and it’s such a flavor advantage to do so. Do yourself a favor a stop going to that big chain coffee place and come here and get a real coffee. They offer everything you’d like from drip, lattes, to blended. They also have some great gluten free desserts along with other items. No hot food at the time of this review so mainly sweet items but they are good.

Extraordinarily slow service. Good coffee, but pleeeease try to make the coffee faster. Starbucks is successful for a reason. Streamline your process and focus while on bar. Customers dont want to wait 10 minutes for a cappuccino when there are no other drinks on the queue.

I really loved the previous location, it had a sort of charm to it. But I am not a fan of this location as much. The line is always weird because they want you to line up by the bakery display case and then they ask you what you want from the bakery but I just want coffee. Then there isn’t much place to stand and wait for your drink if it is busy. The new setup is kind of clunky and awkward. I still love the coffee from here because that hasn’t changed.

No indoor sitting allowed, there is a small patio with fountain and tables. The coffee was ok, they messed up our order but when we realized it we were already out of the shop and on our way to our next destination. Some of the workers mask was not covering their mouth completely. The work area seemed crowded for the number of workers.

I am so sadly disappointed in this place! I asked for an iced coffee with no ice and they gave me a drink that was less than half way filled. I paid $7 for a drink that can’t even be filled all the way and needs ice in order to look full? What a scam. I will not be returning.

I have been coming to Bean for years. The atmosphere when they were located next to Michaels, Big Lots & Armstrong Nursery was AMAZING. The decor, the waterfall feature on the patio, it was my go-to for coffee dates with friends. Learned that they merged with The Batter Up Bakery (who has really delicious treats, btw!) So we went to check them out & grab my favorite vanilla late w lavender. I must say, I love both of these places, so the merger makes sense, and eliminates having to drive to another place, but I miss the vibe Bean had. I hope they can somehow create a cool concept that makes the two businesses flow like one.

Good coffee, but apparently you can’t buy beans from this location. New location is harder to get to, often has long lines because it’s shared with a bakery. Beans are the only thing I buy, since I make my own coffee at home. Drove all the way across town to be told I have to buy their beans “online”, even though I could literally see the roasters in the back working away. I’m sure they have a good reason, but won’t explain it to me. I want to support local roasters, but they are making it hard to buy their product. For now I’ll just go to The Press for my beans. Hoping The Bean adjusts this in the future and sell beans to me without having to order online.

Bean Coffee Roasters has merged locations with Batter-Up Bakery. The coffee shop has lost its vibe and feels like a watered down experience of what it used to be. Ordering is a nightmare now because the line is busy with both customers of the bakery and the coffee shop. If Bean wants to survive with new partnership they need to figure out a better system/division of patrons. Ive seen that bakery go through at least 3 different owners and name changes, hopefully it doesnt foreshadow the future of Bean.

Awesome, eclectic decor. Seasonal concoctions and organic brews. This is one of the finest coffee establishments I have discovered. In a rush? They have a kiosk for your order to be rushed. But dont hesitate to find a great corner and enjoy a specialty Vanilla Rose Latte iced or hot. Just off of Hwy. 15 so pull on over for a jolt.

My coworkers favorite coffee place in the area when we are visiting one of our offices in the same plaza. I haven’t drank the coffee but she loves it. I’ve gotten their breakfast sandwich and I really liked it. They heat it up and it’s a sausage egg muffin. It’s small but just enough to tie you over. Plenty of parking and friendly staff.

I ordered and iced hazelnut latte with oat milk. To my knowledge, iced lattes are made with espresso shots, ice, syrup and a good amount of MILK, the drink I received was more like a BREWED coffee with ice and a splash of creamer or milk, I am unsure if they made a mistake and gave me the wrong type of drink, or if their Hazelnut latte is just bitter and watered down. I was very disappointed. hjenhshssnit to see thag

I stop in here frequently while running around town so when I got a home espresso machine, naturally I came to Bean for some fresh ground espresso! Fresh, yes. Properly ground, nope. They didnt put it thru the espresso grinder. Looks like they used a commercial coffee grinder on the espresso setting. Cmon! Yall should know it needs those burrs! So much for going to the professionals! Especially at $23/lb. 😥 Utterly disappointed...wouldve gone to Trader Joes if I knew thats what Id end up with.

None of the employees were wearing masks as they were preparing our lattes and when we entered the shop. I informed them that we were in the middle of a pandemic and that if they didn’t put on mask while they were preparing my drinks there was a chance that I would get a lot more than dizzy. Begrudgingly two out of the three employees did put on their masks. The cashier did not. All the people entering the facility were wearing masks and practicing social distancing. Another words we were all protecting the young healthy employees well they were not protecting the patrons because they couldn’t be bothered to but on a mask. Not only could the espresso machine be considered aerosol forming, the health department requires all employees wear masks. Along with the CDC, OSHA the governor and even the not so smart President of the United States. When I complain to the owner he told me he did not know this information. He did say he would check it out but I find it very hard to believe that he is unaware that his employees do not need to wear masks. When I looked up their health score it looks like they’ve already received demerits for Cleanliness.

First the coffee. I drink black coffee and not much else. So, I am very finicky when it comes to good coffee. If I drank cream and sugar it wouldnt matter what the coffee tastes like. The difference here is that they have the roasting machines right there for you to see. They toast all their beans fresh the day before. Usually 2 or 3 different types. Today I opted for Ethiopian. Have to say, you cant get any fresher than roasted day before. Most discriminating coffee drinkers know fresh coffee lasts for only 2 or 3 weeks. Result, Very good coffee. The other factor to good coffee is to brew it with proper water temperature. Not boiling. They do it right. You can get a cup of coffee, sit down, take a sip, put the cup down in front of you, and discern the subtle characteristics your selection. Years ago I used to stop at Starbucks occasionally for coffee. Rarely, was it good. Usually its overcooked, burnt, acidic. You sit and look at that cup and think, really? Yuck. I would rather drink Instant coffee. It tastes better. If you go for the diabetes drinks then it doesnt matter. The atmosphere. Very cool. You have to check it out. Indoor themed seating and outdoor seating with trees and water features. Its popular. They also have really good looking treats, pastries, etc. I cant comment on those but they sure look good.

First time visiting. I tried their Maple and Brown sugar frappuccino and it was rather good. I think it couldve been just a tad better, or maybe with a darker roast coffee, but still very good. I drank every sip. It was a homey place, very nice attendee who had great recommendations.

Very cool atmosphere. Friendly staff. They have a small case with food items to grab and go. It appears their is quite a good selection of coffee to choose from. I drink tea, but my friend ordered a latte and was happy with it. There is a small selection of tea and my green tea was very good. I would just suggest they learn a bit more about the type of tea they serve so they can answer questions about it, even though their specialty is coffee. As a tea drinker, I like good quality tea as much as a coffee drinker loves coffee. I know, someone reading this is asking why I didnt go to a tea place? Because I wanted to show my friend that this is a really cool coffee place. I still can appreciate it even if I dont drink coffee. Go check it out! 😊

Their drip coffee is better than the Americano and pour over coffees I have had (except for two places, Huskins and a place in WA). I dont buy Lattes or Cappuccinos. I asked if I needed to get an Americano and the Barista said the drip coffee was very good and asked if I wanted medium or dark roast. I asked for the medium. It turned out there wasnt enough left for a 20oz, so they brewed a fresh pot. I dont know how they keep their brewed coffee but I think the rest of the pot could have been as good as the cup I had for at least an hour or two. The complexity and balance of their coffee makes BCRT a place to put on your list.

Great atmosphere.Their join-up with Batter-Up Bakery is on point. I mean, my espresso with a large eclair?! Yes please. The bakery is SO GOOD and its perfect considering Bean is the only place I will buy coffee.Ive never had a mishap with dairy mixups (my husband bought the eclair and I had a taste. Im dairy allergic but this baked good is worth the consequences haha). I always order almond milk, I always receive almond milk. Unlike another coffee company which shall go nameless. My husband and I are quite the coffee snobs since we make yummy fresh coffee at home daily. We will stop here every time there is a Costco run. I couldnt give higher praise. Truly.

Average at best coffee house. Flavored coffee drinks are on par with any other chain store. They do tend to serve their hot drinks on the cold side. On more than one occasion i have handed a hot drink right back asking them to make it a hot drink. What really lost me as a customer was went in for just a straight drip coffee. The flavor was bland, no choice of types or flavors and was luke warm. I went for. Refill and unlike most places where drip brew is free or 50 cents for a refill they wanted half price of original cost. I asked the server if that was they really charged for a refill on drip and was told yes. There are plenty of other choices in town that are way more customer service and customer retention driven to chose from. For me this was the last drip for this shop. Yes pun intended.

I’m not very impressed with the drinks because they are really sugary with what tastes like artificial flavorings, but even the plain lattes don’t have a good coffee flavor. For a roaster, I would expect higher quality coffee and beans. The service is generally very slow, and the price higher than Starbucks, or Augie’s. I think my review of 3 stars is more than fair.
