I hate walmart!!! ...but we have no place else to go in our town as they have run every place else out of business. Now their prices are sky high and they expect you to be an employee without giving you an employee discount while you check yourself out. I HATE walmart.

Associate very helpful. Opened watch case and waited patiently as I choose one. Store not too crowded and easy to shop in.

Very good food - limited menu but enough good choices. Vegan crowd may not find a lot here. Pleasant environs and nice patio overlooking a corner in a upscale neighborhood.

Friendly and helpful staff, just did not have a real grocery section. Mainly sold snacks. The whole purpose of us going was for groceries, but, still not a bad store. Bathrooms were clean.

My invitation cards had to be ordered twice and came in late. Okay, but then the lettering on the top was all cut off. To make matters worse the lady who works in fotos said Walmart takes no responsibility and blamed me since Im the one who ordered them. They were over 50 dollars and all messed up! I checked the work order where the design I approved was not cut off!No one offered any apologies and I was left paying top dollar for late invitations that Im embarrassed to send.

The logical Walmart for a small town with several superior, competing grocers: light on the groceries and heavy on the hardware and housewares. Seem to be currently short-staffed; empty shelves are apparent.

Different location from anywhere else Ive ever been to! Super scenic Northern NM town with a sense of rebellious thinking... being way out on the edge, yet, close enough to the rest of main stream to get regular essentials regularly!!

Great selection of merchandise. Its a little tough to find someone to help you sometimes because the store is so massive and you might have to walk around a while to get some help, but when you do find someone, they can direct you where to go. Thanks!

As per usual, to many stockers in asiles. That being said, I know theyre only doing their jobs. Maybe reinforce the need to park their service carts to one side of asiles. Very hard for most to manuver around them. Also they could give shopper more personal space when they need to get an item near them. Dont like the forced self serve. Hard to pack your goods on a 24 square and no way to get input about your shopping experience. Except for the internet. Old and parents with hands full can leave very frustrating.

Today when I went to a mermaid experience was not too bad but they did not have what I needed almost all the shelves were empty

I found myself needing to do some shopping here when I was in town for my kiddos soccer game. The store has a pretty crazy layout compared to alot of other Wally-Worlds ive been to. Many of the shelves were also half-stocked with few options on many items making difficult to some something as standard as single serve Gatoraids. This is most likely due to the shortages as a result of the current COVID pandemic, but since I had never been here prior to this one time, I cant be sure. Otherwise, any of the staff I spoke with was super friendly and you didnt get a sketchy vibe from the parking lot. If I had to swing back here again I would, but wouldnt count on the thing I was looking for to be there and planning a 2nd stop somewhere else.

Automotive is awesome. They took care of my car, tires, oil and even headlight restoration.

The Walmart in espanola way beats the Walmart in taos. Taoss Walmart is the worst ever

Walmart in taos is a good one the workers are all friendly for the most part although sometimes they seem understaffed. For example to get help in sporting goods one must ask an employee to have someone come to help them in that dept. The one drawback is there are never enough checkout lines open. Even during the busy during peak times. This is irritating when ur waiting in self checkout and 1maybe 2 lines out of 9 are open.

Quick trip n out for necessities of rv life! They had a liquor area with a nice variety available.

Trying to find a power outlet for our printer and they let us print our invoices! So thankful!

Totally unprofessional employees all around. I ordered a package that should of been ready 3 days ago. We have been back and forth this whole time trying to fins out if it is ready. Finally they call and say its ready, We go to pick it up AND now they cant find it.They dont know how to communicate with each other, they are rude, they lose packages, they argue with you like its your fault. Avoid this walmart if you can or order online from a different company. Not worth the trouble, the headaches, or the stress.

Clothing selection leaves something to be desired. Cashier was ultra friendly. Super busy, not really big enough to support the community it serves.

Pallets and freight boxes in the aisles at 11:30 AM. Major safety concern. On the plus side, very helpful female associate in Sporting Goods.

If they ask you to wear a mask you need to ask them for a company policy W-9 for your W-4 if they want to hire you to wear a mask in Walmart cuz mandate is offered the contract not a law and any of these open to public venues.

As of today recommended mask wearing not law good cuz i dont have a mask on me from know on im putting them in my glove compartment

Friendly, helpful employees there is parking lot security and they will allow you to stay in the parking lot for an evening or two if you are traveling

A manager was very rude to me there. They also have the worst grocery department I have seen in a Walmart since they started carrying groceries. Only frozen meat.

I visit this store once a week. I have high praise for the team who are so helpful and have a great attitude given the challenges of working at an often understaffed store. The line was extremely long today as they didnt have enough checkers but once I got to the front the young woman was very upbeat and so pleasant. I dont know how she maintains her good attitude and I wish I had her name because shes a gem. I hope Corporate are doing a better job of recognizing these hard working essential workers who put their own health at risk during Covid to serve the public. Give them all a raise.I pick up one prescription monthly, get a reminder on my phone, click yes, and it lets me know when its ready. I cant believe how quickly the pharmacy tech consistently gets through the line of people and completes my transaction. She makes it a pleasure. I would recommend the Taos Wal-Mart pharmacy over any other pharmacy in town.Wish the store could keep the cat food isle stocked, but it seems to be an issue at most places right now. Maybe its a supply chain issue?Anyway, many thanks to the friendly team at the Taos Wal-Mart!!!

Update... Re-do... Get new people... The place looks like a FEMA camp and there are just some of the rudest people Ive come into contact with at a walmart. If I ask if a there is a checkout lane, Im not asking because I dont know the answer. I actually want one of you, walking around aimlessly, to open a check out lane and check me out. Itbused to be called Courtesy. Now, people actually have the nerve to say Self checkout only? Amazon is going to get as much of my business as possible. It was a question meant to make you wonder why I asked you the question to begin with.. Its well worth the 45 minutes to go to Espanola.

Customer restrooms are outside on portable toilets with no tissues. Toilets were clean though.

Bathrooms are closed due to Covid — that doesn’t help protect the spread of Covid-19. Hey there’s a pandemic so use a place we don’t clean to go to the bathroom. I get that it isn’t spread on surfaces, but really no one wants to use a gross portapotty.

Because its not so suffocating and the workers can help you as it should be as advertised, and theyre actually helping the older customers. I hope Im treated with the Same as Im drawing near the age aswell. I also think that Walmart supervisors can learn from each other if they were able to see the other store that are the equal size and how they run their stores and treat the customers. It would boost moral and business as far as Im concerned.

If you want the feeling of standing in a Soviet bread line sans the delorean. I havent seen a place really defeat the heart and purpose of covid guidelines as badly as this. But yeah, the lines are too long, and theyre crowded. They have made me realize I can cut walmart completely out of my life with Amazon and Supersave. Walmart, Jack of all trades master of none.

I am new to the area. I was surprised to find this store was substandard compared to every other Walmarts I’ve visited. Very limited grocery area and dirty looking concrete floors. Disorganized stocking of merchandise.I had a full cart as this was the only place to shop for home goods, the check out clerk was rude and abrupt and told me to go to self checkout.I told her that I had too much stuff to do that and she reluctantly checked me out but was surly to the customer behind me and told him to go to self checkout. He told her “ no I’m not doing that,that’s your job! “ I had to smile.

The lines are crazy to get into Walmart everyday they have their days where your in line for a whole hour and they have the days where your in line for maybe 5 to 10 minutes. Ive had one of the employees scan my items 2 to 3 times and when Ive told them about it they dont do anything about it so keep an eye on your Receipts along of us dont check enough and trust the employee that they arent making mistakes but they are and its taking from you. Other then that the employees are very nice and they try and do their jobs as best as they can with this covid

This location is smaller than other Walmarts, which may contribute to the lack of variety. I went to the fitting room and asked to try one item on. A woman nearby said she needed to get someone to open it, left, and didnt return after 10 minutes. I was in a rush and couldnt wait -- that was a bit disappointing. Many of their plants look quite sad -- some succulents and their african violets were rotted. As a plant lover, thats disheartening. I hope they at least staff the location a bit better and improve the garden department.

Great place to shop and work..

They have stocks on shelves but you have to make sure you got the right price....price might be different once they scan at the counter. Staff is a little bit slow too.
