When I was there they were stocking so I ended up going some where else. But for the most part i like the store employees were kind and considerate.

Cashier wouldnt help elderly gentleman on an electric scooter. She stood behind the register, and talked on the phone. She barely moved. Waited for me to grab my bag from underneath the shield. If youre going to be that lazy 1. Dont work in customer service and 2. Scan the items and put them in the bag. Ill grab it on the way out. Worst service Ive ever seen.

I, as well as everyone else in south tampa have hated shopping here for years UNTIL NOW!! The old managers and employees would have music playing on their phones while processing transactions which is very unprofessional. The shelves were always empty and disorganized. The aisles you could barely get through. And the lines were absolutely ridiculous!! The new manager has changed all of these issues! Better shopping experience, as well checking out. The store is much cleaner. I love that he has more employees there to help him stock the shelves. Overall give him a raise!

Line formed and cashier wanted to say customers can wait. Sure and this is the mentality they provide customer service with. Corporate should be proud.

Dont get it confused with dollar tree, I bought 2 items for $20

Staff was very helpful and, they went out of their way to help me locate items so no complaints there. I still had to go to the nearest Walmart to find the items that they didnt have but other than that not a problem. Its going to be my new neighborhood D G so, I look forward to shopping there in the future.

Decent on prices and friendly staff, but a dirty store. Sometimes mold is on bread products. Expired products on shelves. Doesnt enforce mask wearing.I still go for things like bins and kids road trip toys, but otherwise its not worth the trip.

This store is ALWAYS in disarray!!! The merchandise sits in boxes on the big utility carts, not on the shelves. Half the time, the aisles are blocked by the big carts. I saw new employees there today who were actually nice, but typically the employees are rude. Most employees would rather stand around then actually work, which is why the store is always a mess. They really need a good manager in that store that will hire hard working employees and get that store in shape.

Used to be a great store not sure whats happened but there is more in the piled high boxes thru out the store than merchandise on the shelves.

This dollar general is very disorganized, dont have a lot of workers. I went to it one week and the shipments were every where. you couldnt get through no where I could get anything cause all the shopping lines were being blocked off. but the few people that work there are very nice.

There is one clerk who is the rudest person. Dont want to say shes a racist but seems very friendly to everyone except to white folk. She mumbles when I check out every time. She doesnt even know me. I say this because I have been observing this for a while. I wish theyd fire her.

Store manager lets panhandling go in outside. I think its her husband or brother. They both look shady! She is very rude as well! He claims to have a steel plate in his head from Vietnam war. But says he is 62 years old. So, that would have made him 16 years old when the last troops were returned from Vietnam. Thats called Stolen Valor

Cashier talked on the phone while checking me out...Never gave me my bags had to pull them off myself. Never gave me a receit... Poor cashier service...

The lady Nicole in there i believe is her name. Black with blonde hair. Ive seen her be EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional to older customers trying to find things and once i had to call her to the register after waiting on her for 2 minutes and she offered no apology😅 The most unprofessional woman ive ever seen in a work place.

Dollar General is one of these love stories you can go in and out and grab a household things never really have to wait too long is not a bad place to go Ill recommend if youre in a hurry Dollar General somewhere you need to give poppy in and get it

Its the dollar store. Well it used to be the one dollar store. During the tornado I stopped here for flashlights. They were between 2 and $5. Unfortunately Amazon doesnt have a one-hour option or I probably could have found a better deal there. But in the event of a tornado and you need an immediate and cheap tool to get through the job the dollar store is still there. I just think they should rethink the name now that a dollar isnt worth what it was when they started.

Its a great place to shop for everything.

That place was a mess. Almost all of the aisle were blocked, barely anything on the shelf and it was dirty. I finally finished shopping and I get to the registry I was the only one in line. The cashier was standing there reading a paper she didnt even acknowledge me. So Im standing there for a very long time and she is still reading some paper then she finally does her job by poorly put the items in the bag and acting like I was bothering her. If I could give that a zero I would.

I always enjoy going in there. I like the prices they offer and I like their location. Very convenient. I hope that their hours of operation are listed on here soon, so I dont have to keep calling.

The staff is really friendly. But be prepared for a long line and only one register open. Two registers being open would really help alot. Customers can get out in a more timely fashion and it takes alot of pressure of the cashier who have eyes on them like hurry up. Just be prepared and come with a little more patience. Overall I like the store and staff. 😊

Eerything you need on a quick shoping trip.

I actually really like visiting this store on occasion. Theyve got a nice assortment of convenient goods, but what I really like is checking out all the random home and garden stuff they get in. Lots of cute and useful things for the home.

At one time the store was a mess. The shelves were half stock and boxes all over the place. At times you couldnt walk down an aisle because boxes were blocking the entrance. Lately, the store looks nice and cleaned.

This store is cheap and convenient. It has almost everything I need.

The prices are nothing to complain about, but there always seems that one of the 2 registers are not working and the isles are cluttered with stuff to be restocked, but nobody around actually getting the restocking done.

This store is a convenient and well-stocked place to conduct normal grocery shopping and also is excellent if youre in need for a normal household item that you would normally pay greatly for at the drugstore. The staff is always polite, patient, and knowledgeable. Yes, everything in the store is not a dollar or less however is afar better option laying going to Walgreens or CVS for the same product for nearly double the price. You pay more than Dollar Tree for the selection that Dollar General has but in my opinion it is worth it.

Low prices...Natures Own...name brand ...was $2.99 versus Publix at $3.49. It might look like a small amount but it does add up!

This place is a huge mess.

They dont wear masks. The manager walks by the overflowing trash can in front of the store and just shakes his head. Rude when I asked why no one is wearing a mask.

Store had most items on my list. This is a good thing.

This Dollar General is very convenient to MacDill Air Force Base its literally the first thing outside the gate! One of the things we were looking for that they didnt have with swimsuits:(

Sketchy dollar general. Half the time the carts are slammed together in such a way that you cant pull one out to use and most of the employees dont even acknowledge you with either words or a smile.

My experience was very good, my purchase was very heavy so the cashier followed me to my car and pact the stuff in my truck, good job sir.

Its always so cluttered, cant get down isles. 😞 I do loke the employees at this store very helpful.

I am new to the area, and today was my 4th time shopping there. As always, the staff was extremely courteous and helpful.

Always bunches of boxes in the middle of the hall with empty shelves, few employees maybe 2 or 3 in total counting the manager. I wish that they start carrying the 500 puzzlebug puzzles again, I missed them greatly.
