My husband and I bought a beautiful Dominic Benhura statue while in Zimbabwe. He is known for his balancing statues. Christmas evening a fault in the stone cause her to break at the ankle. Lisa did a wonderful job of restoring her from multiple pieces!

This an outstanding business for ceramic repair. I took a Ms Claus in that had been dropped. The figure wa about 18 inches tall and heavy. It broke into about 7 pieces. The piece was over 20 years old. Lysa made it look like nothing had happened. Very professional friendly and reliable company. We have two, forty year old end tables, of high quality and beautiful wood. Where the leg meets the table top, existed large decorative scrolls. After redecorating our living room, the look just didn’t go anymore. Lysa removed all eight scrolls and refinished the areas where the scrolls existed. We really like the tables now, and you can not see that the scrolls were ever there. Lysa’s turn-around time was exceptionally quick, I enjoyed working with her.

On an antique library table I have, termites had eaten out the inside of one leg, yuck! The inside was all crumbly and we had no idea where to take it or how to fix it. We bound the leg and left it sit for 2 years.We heard that this company did excellent work, so we took it to Lysa. Lysa restored an antique mirror that was passed down from my mother-in-law. The string holding it up broke and it crashed to the floor. The mirror itself survived but the gilded wooden leaves on the frame broke. Lysa was able to recreate the damaged leaves and it looks like new! Great job.

My daughter brought back a beautiful elephant piece from her trip to Cartagena... it broke on the airplane. I googled Lisa and read her reviews! Lysa was able to take a chipped and rusted metal lotus petal with an attached lotus blossom and make it look new again. She very closely matched the green hues of the petal to hide the places where it had rusted over time. She was also able to apply paint to hide chips and blend in the color of the blossom. She then coated it with a clear coat to increase the lifespan of the piece as its home is out in the Florida weather. I was just going to toss the piece, but now I dont have to.

Lysa Is not only a fantastic artist but is also a compassionate warm human being. My wife was recuperating from an illness and I could not take my broken bird to her, so she volunteered to come and get the bird and returned it to me. She did a fantastic job on the bird, in fact it looks better than it did when we bought it 20 years ago.I can highly recommend Restoration-Rescue of Tampa for any ceramic repair work that you may have need of.
