One of my favorite shops in Tallahassee! Always a fantastic selection of beautiful, unique, and high-quality clothes (also where I discovered my all time favorite jeans!), great sales, and easy last-minute gift ideas. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful, and the owners are involved extensively in the community and local charities. A wonderful place to shop -- or just to stop in and hang out! Cant wait to visit soon.

Be warned! This is the kind of shop where you’ll want everything you see. Even the bookshelves and chairs are cool (they’re not for sale). Excellent section reasonably priced sunglasses. Top quality belts and wallets too.

Ive gone in to Southern Compass many times for both last minute needs and just to browse and I have always found the staff to be courteous and helpful. I really appreciate the environment they create that adjusts to my needs for each visit. Ive gone shopping there with both my girlfriend and my mother and I would bring/recommend anyone to their shopping there. Stores like Southern Compass are the reason I prefer to shop at locally owned businesses and I greatly appreciate their quality products and level of service.

Southern Compass is the best locally owned family business in Tallahassee! The owners and employees are so sweet and helpful to every customer that walks in the door. I cant imagine taking my business elsewhere! They definitely take customer service to the next level.

Southern Compass Outfitters is my favorite locally owned store. Their customer service is great, and it seems like they strive to carry just what I want to buy!! The store itself is great looking, much more of an experience than any other clothing store I can think of around here. If you arent already shopping here, you should be!!!

It’s a shame when you walk in a place that sells expensive items and the person working behind the counter looks at you, makes eye contact and doesn’t say a word. Nic’s Toggery will get all of our business for this type clothing.

Great selection, really nice people, and cool stuff you wont find most other places in town. Not cheap but everything is quality.
