Great experience from sale to install. Very professional. Thhe installers advised that our our faucet wasnt going to fit right, they waited until I went and came back with another before finishing, we really appreciated that. My granite countertop is absolutely gorgeous! I love it.

Good, attentive service. Plenty of time cheerfully spent in warehouse looking at slabs of granite. Staff was happy to move them into view.

They tried to install the counter with a chip in the front corner. They told me they would just epoxy it..The seam between counter pieces can be seen from across the room. The epoxy is too light.

Ordered the tile I needed that was unavailable atHome Depot.

These folks do a terrific job at a very competitive price. From purchase through installation and follow up these folks were top notch in professionalism and responsiveness. I cannot be more pleased.

Roma did our kitchen granite in Sept 2018. This was after looking at every granite distributor in CNY and even extending our search beyond CNY. We were very pleased with our experience last year. When it was time to shop for granite to update two bathrooms in Spring 2019, we went right to Roma without looking elsewhere.We had a miscommunication about side splashes which we did not recognize until after our order was processed and picked up. We contacted Roma on Saturday after picking our order on Friday afternoon. The team had the side splashes made and ready for pick up Monday afternoon. This was during an extremely busy time for Roma. No one wasted time questioning whose fault it was. They just took care of it. Danielle was our advocate and the team in the shop made us a priority. Very pleased with my counters. Loved that I was able to pick my slab in person. All employees were great from sales person to installers.

Roma has a terrific crew of granite and quartz counter top fabricators and installers. My job required a scissors lift to hoist a HUGE slab of quartz from the driveway to the deck and into the kitchen. The first time they came to install it we realized the slab was too wide to fit under the stairs so they came back several days later after I had the lift at the job site. They didnt whine and complain, just did what they had to do, and didnt even charge me extra $$...! They are professionals in the stone counter top industry! Too bad I cant give them more than 5 stars!

The selection is great and so are the prices. What marks it down to two stars is that I have my countertop installation today and was told it was scheduled at 8. I took the day off and woke up on time for it and waited. No one ever showed up at 8. I waited until 9 when it still hadn’t come and apparently the installers were never told that we were the first people in line so they went to other jobs. I was told they would be here at 12:30 and they just finally showed up. No calls to let us know that they would be late. And zero communication between the staff.

Best marble and tiles selections in Syracuse

I visited Roma Tile and Marble today to pick up some tile for work. When i arrived there the product was staged on broken pallets and only 1 of them was wrapped. When i addressed load concerns after taking pictures and breaking down one of those pallets just so the load wpuld be secured. I get yelled at in an unprofessional manner. Later Nick was able to resolve but the fact of tge matter is we paid a good amount of money for product to be stored on broken pallets and not even fully secured for transit. Would strongly recommend not bringing them more business.

Went in to look at engineered stone and granite slabs. Chose 3 in the showroom to see. Waited around for quite awhile for them to get slabs out for viewing. Upon being brought into work area to see the slabs, we were told one of them was behind other slabs so they didnt get it out! No apology or offer for us to see it another time. Just no further convo on that. So I guess they dont want to sell me that hunk of granite. Customer service was definitely lacking...many people sitting behind desks-no one offered to help us or said hello when we entered. We had to drive the entire interaction. Wont be using this company for my kitchen reno!

Great tile and Reasonable prices..

Needed countertops for my new kitchen. Walked in with my work clothes on(I own a construction business), 3 people made direct eye contact with me as I stood there. Waited 10 minutes and walked out. Not one hello can I help you. Guess I should have gone home and changed into a button-up.

A courteous staff at the store, a terrific selection of materials, and a professional installation.They measured on a Thursday and installed granite countertops on the following Tuesday. And they came from Syracuse to Rochester to do it. I think that this is almost unheard of. I would give them five stars, if I could.Bob Reid

The absolute worst sales rep - the tall, older woman with short, gray hair that was on the sales floor needs to retire if she hasnt already - she was a rude B----, was completely dismissive from the beginning and insulted me out of nowhere. Maybe she was having a bad day but she shouldnt be talking to potential customers. We walked out and got a better price on granite from Countertops & Cabinets, Inc who had excellent customer service and even stayed open later to accommodate us. We are very happy with our countertops and install and glad we didnt waste our money at Roma Tile. I hope that woman works on commission - her huge loss and theirs too.

Frustrating experience - never felt like valued customers - cannot recommend! Roma has a rep dedicated to our Utica-based cabinet vendor who failed to meet us as planned for first appointment. We made a second trip to look at slabs, and our rep offered to have samples made of four granites of interest. It was supposed to take 3-4 days, but I had to follow up over a week later. When samples arrived, they were not labeled and were similar enough that we weren’t sure what we were actually looking at. Our kitchen designer submitted our plan in August, and we were given a quantity which we used for planning, budgeting, and other decision making. Just as our contractor was ready to begin work In late November, it was determined that our Roma rep had underestimated our quantity by 20 square feet resulting in additional cost to us of $2,500. We called Roma to discuss the situation, hoping they might offer to honor the original quote, or at least make some concession. We never received a call back and, by this point, had zero confidence in moving ahead with Roma. Somewhat desperate, we went to Lowe’s, and - fortunately - had a very good experience with Stone Central. I am hearing that others have had similar experience with Roma recently as well.

I had been driving by Roma tile for at least 15 years and I always wanted to stop in and see their products. Well I finally actually needed some granite countertops in one of my houses. I called them on the phone and spoke to Jim Angeli. I gave a diagram with measurements to Jim thru email and he called me back and told me a price and I needed to pay half down and half upon completion. I told him I would stop in tomorrow and pick a granite and make the payment. Today I went to Roma tile. The girl at the desk was very nice. I think her name was Danielle. Jim finally came out after about 7 minutes and acted like the typical hyped up car salesman or any salesman. I do own an auto dealership and body shop for 20 years. Anyway, Jim took me over and said here ya go pointing to the cheapest granite in the showroom. I told him I didn’t like the cheaper granite. He then told me I could move up in groups. He then walked away from me and talked to other customers. While he was away another customer came over to me and started educating me on granite and what I should know. This helped a lot. I picked out a granite and found Jim. Jim took me to his desk and told me to wait so he could draw up a contract. He appeared from the back of the store and came to a rounded receptionist type desk and called my name. He said here’s the contract we need payment in full. I said Jim you told me it was 50% down and balance due upon completion. Jim replied, we just changed our policy 2 weeks ago. I said let me read the contract. I read it out loud and it clearly says, 50% down and balance due upon completion. Jim replies, I will half to let our girl know to change that. I then took a picture of it and told Jim I didn’t like what was going on and I would leave and call him later to let him know my decision. Before I left I met another female customer who overheard my conversation with Jim. She said they were messing her around and she didn’t like it. She told me to go to Syracuse tile and stone on James street . She said they were very helpful . I went there spent a lot of time with the sales gal . She didn’t try to sell me. She took me in the back and showed me the sheets of granite. I met the owner and he explained where seams would be and the process. I purchased $3,000+ of granite with a 50% down payment and balance due upon completion. The time will be 2 weeks to install. Roma was 3-4 and I wasn’t switch baited. I wasn’t pressured. I hope all Roma tile people aren’t like Jim. Jim bragged about working there as an expert for over 15 years. Good luck. If anything ask for Danielle, I saw her helping a lady customer. I don’t know that’s lady’s experience though.

Worst customer service I have had in a long time. Placed an order for a 48 vanity top and was told 3-4 weeks delivery. At 6 weeks I called to ask where my vanity was and was told Oh we are sorry, it didnt get on our schedule, it will be another 2 weeks or more until we can deliver it I will never be going back. I should have gone to Vallars who have always given me great customer service.

Absolutely horrified with the customer service that Roma Tile portrayed. Their lack of communication was very frustrating. The day of the install they arrived with only half our kitchen granite. We asked the guys where the island piece was and they had no clue. We tried to call the store and was told they would call us back. The guys called and were told our other piece was still on the machine. No one ever called us back. We had to call again and we were told they would come two days later for the island piece. The install guys were running late and no one bothered to call us and tell us that day. Then we called for back splash quotes after we took samples home and we called on a Saturday to speak with the woman who helped us. She never called us back until Tuesday and said she would work on the quote. I called two more times, left voicemails and nothing was returned. Finally took me going into the store to return the samples to get the actual quote. Every time we call they are so rude. They are just looking to make a sale and move on.

The I am one of the owners guy was rude, there was no apologies for their mistakes, and no attempt to make it right. He instead tried to convince me that it was exactly the same, got white and brown instead of blue and green.We always try to spend money locally, with businesses that are part of our community. We will never return to Roma Tile!

Expect nobody to know what they are doing.

It was bad. No one greeted us or assisted us. When we asked for help we were told to look ourselves. I worked retail management for 15 years and was shocked to find the sales staff was on commission and still no offers to help us. If there is a protocol we were unaware of perhaps being advised would have helped. We found a tile and asked a salesman to write up the order for us-then we got assistance. When we went to pick up the tile we were directed across the street to a warehouse empty of employees and had to call the office to send us help. When the help came he asked US if we knew where our pickup was located in the warehouse?!? We are not disrespectful people, just regular joes looking for help, trying to buy some tile ! We were recommended to Roma Tiles by several people, so we were very much dismayed by our treatment.
