I was pleasantly surprised to visit the Sylvania Mayberry Verizon store. Nicole was instrumental in not only meeting my needs but more importantly helping to define and clarify my changing needs. I walked in wondering how much more my expanded plans would cost and she actually saved me considerable money! I could not be more satisfied.

We went in to transfer data onto a new phone and Joe was very helpful, he was able to do it in about 15 minutes and was very friendly the whole time. This is our preferred Verizon store and would highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Joe. We came into have data transferred to a new phone. When the SIM card was taken out, it activated a McAfee security lock and he couldnt continue. He tried his best to bypass the lock. When it proved too difficult, he called up McAfee customer service and sat on hold with them for quite a while. He stuck with it until it was fixed. When we left, everything had been transferred properly.

I will argue that you will not find a person more customer service driven than Josh Poore. I have been a customer of his for the better part of 10 years now and I will never buy a phone or take my Verizon questions anywhere else. His knowledge of product and willingness to explain and educate are impossible to match. He truly does care about his customers and puts them first EVERY TIME. Wish I remembered the guy who helped me, honestly I wouldnt be surprised if he didnt even tell me his name. Wont bother describing him but honestly he simply was there. Didnt really help me with anything. Told him I wanted a new phone and just stood there without saying anything. Ended up just going with a newer model since I was already leaning towards it and he just was standing there saying nothing else.But I wonder why I even have to go inside a store. They do nothing. Before? I could trade in my phone. Now I have to ship it to them within 30 days. Putting on the screen protector, they cant do that for me either anymore. Transferring data over to new phone? Once again nope, but hey you know what. Luckily this was simple for me, However, in the end, why am I even entering the store? They couldnt really help. And the worker? Again he just stood there, came over since I was the next customer and that was it. Maybe he thought I was set on a phone? Idk, my wife was there and even said the same thing that he wasnt that great (I thought I was just over thinking it at first).

Josh was very helpful. He didnt push me to buy a new phone, he just asked what I liked. He was super helpful when my things werent transferring over. He didnt charge me for the help. Overall very good experience.

I know that when I come and talk to Josh he will give me advice based on my needs, instead of selling me something I wont use. I have always had the best luck at this Verizon retailer, because unlike competitors, I can tell I really matter and they take the time to explain any questions I have. Customer service is always above and beyond expectations. Best of all, usually not packed at this location and I can get in and get out in a timely manner! Highly recommend!

Josh Poore is the guy to see. He knows exactly what you need and can get what you want. He explains your plan, phone, and bill perfectly so that anyone can understand. I have had great experiences in this location. Last time I went in There Josh helped me out a ton. Always polite and professional. He gets back to me in a timely matter, gives me options, and explains anything there is that I have a question on.

I had trouble with an employee trying to set up my phone. He seemed as though he did not know much about the process. He continued to ask other employees for help. He didnt know how to open my account without continually asking for help or starting over. I was to the point that I almost left in the middle of the process .It took way to long to to get the phone. Hopefully it was his first day. The other employees saw my frustration and tried to help but they were busy with other customers. I dont see him being in the store by himself. His name was Michael. My rating does not represent the other employees or the store, they have been helpful.

I have been using this store for most of my cellular needs for years. I have to admit I am surprised by the negative reviews. It doesnt matter if I purchase my device from them or not. They always take the time to help me and make sure everything is working properly before I leave the store.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. My elderly mother in law went in with a flip phone that wouldnt charge. When the salesman was done with her she left with a smartphone without instruction, a tablet and a hefty monthly bill for things she absolutely does not need. Seniors beware! 😡😡😡 shame on you guys
