Employees didnt want to help me find dry sweep for liquid spills. When I finally find the general area that it would be, I ask an employee and he points out a certain producr and I ask to confirm it was the right stuff and he was sure it was.....this stuff is for dust suppression dry sweep not for liquids...

I run in real fast after work some days on my way home for odds and inns. Everyone there seems to be knowledgeable and ready to assist me for what ever I need. They are always welcoming and super friendly.

This is a small town Home Depot. There are very friendly people working there, but DO NOT expect any employee in an aisle to ask if you need help if they are in the stocking process. As for supplies, here is an example of a simple thing they do not even carry, at least not on the floor; a Tamper. The most basic landscaping tool, no where to be found, no one to ask if you need help even though you and the employee are standing in the same aisle for 10 minutes. Here is a shocker though, they will rent you a Tamper. Waste of gas

You will find that they dont have half the things you needed. Outrageous lumber prices for the crappie products available. 3/4 of the lumber available should be taken off the bay. Management is assisting in contacting vendor ?Yellow Southern Pine to resolve our complaint. May change rating depending on how things work out!

I always love the way a hardware store smells when I have to go get materials for a project at home or work. Home Depot is the best!!!

My GREAT GRANDMOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER were in there and getting wood and FIVE MEN walked by and didnt even asked us for help. One of them passed and asked a man for help even though he already had help from someone else. Then they stood in front of us and talked while we were loading wood by ourselves. We are very disappointed.

Only offered help in 2 departments. We went through several. Never seen this store so empty. Needed lumber but not paying those prices.

Management is awesome especially David most of the staff is nice but several are horrible

Prices on little high but its good store

We made two trips today! The first was to get concrete blocks to start an elevated herb garden outside the back door. No one was available to help load the blocks. They also were not with the outdoor garden stuff. Had to hunt for them and found them with building supplies. Next trip was for herbs. We found some of what we wanted. Their quantity of herbs was good, but the variety was lacking some things. They also did not have any aloe or any succulents at all. No one available to ask about this. We had to look it up on our phone app.

Services were excellent, I always.enjoy my visits.

Bought a lawn mower for the price attached on it but was charged two hundred more. This was after I drove 56 miles to get a trailer to take it home. Depot would not honor the marked price so I took a refund back to my credit card. This was Sylacauga store. Went home and bought one off the internet. A larger and cheaper zero turn.

Most of the employees are great, bit a few leave a lot to be desired. Ask for help going through the sheetrock because there was a bunch of busted up peices on top that they wouldnt discount which was fine, I just wanted complete sheets if I was paying full price. The fellow ask me, well whats wrong with these and left me standing there to go through it and load it myself. Bought ready to go back to spending a few extra dollars on mom and pop places.

Made an online purchase here and when I got to the store 45 minutes later, the item was waiting for me at Customer Service ready to go. Took all of 15 minutes from the time I walked in to the time I was heading back home. Awesome!

A good place to shop overall. The service has improved in assisting to locate specifics in such a large store. John, an employee, greets you at the door and goes above and beyond to assist. Of course he is old school and has an exceptional work ethic that others could follow his example. Most employees are friendly and courteous. The store is very clean and products offered definitely meet your building and remodeling needs.

Home Depot awesome place got it about everything you need

I will not go back into the Sylacauga Home Depot again. I was there yesterday (11/22/20) to get blinds cut. They couldnt cut that specific type of blind so the employee in blinds said to just get the size we need and do a straight swap on them. That was great to us. When we got up to the service desk to do the swap she started a return. I ask her was this going to affect the promotion she said no. She complete the return and put it back on the card. Then she rering up the new blinds that I had to use the card for and isnt on any promotion. When I ask her about that she said with a little bit of an attitude thats just what has to happen if you order things online. Her name is Nikiliya. I was going to overlook that but I went back in today (11/23/20). I had ordered a faucet online and due to manufactors defect the sprayer wouldnt connect to the faucet. I had the while faucet put in and caulked before I realized it was defected. I took just the sprayed back. Zack helped me but once he found what it needed he expected me to pay for the part to fix the defected one became it was ordered online and I didnt take the whole faucet back apart and take the whole thing back. I will go to Vandzants, Marvins or drive to Pell City or Alexander City before I walk back into the Sylacauga store.

Our original visit to the store was great! We got the help we needed and purchased our fridge. We asked HD to hold it so we could get our trailer to haul it home. We went back to the store, got a few other items needed for our house and expected to pick out fridge up, no problem. My husband asked an associate if we could get some help and the associate said Well, I dont know if anyone is over there. Youll just have to wait your turn. My husband asked nicely and we were both courteous. We waited another 30 minutes before anyone came to help us. Then when the same associate came up, he was very rude. if we hadnt already spent $2500 on a fridge, we would have left and bought one somewhere else. We have been to this HD several times and the customer service here is lacking.

We buy a lot of 8 and 4 caps for seting up mobile homes !!! We buy all our block here or pell City . now two days this week this week alone we had to wait and wait and wait no one being loaded not beady at all and employee come out ask for second time what we needed so dont buy block there they are slow as ever .. Rude is not the word and slow I would rather not have to use them any more god one hour and counting

Finally found what I needed on my own. Store associates were not to be found for assistance until I had been searching for twenty or so minutes.

Overpriced, understaffed. Absolute poster child for big-box store greed. Shop smaller stores, get it cheaper and friendlier. Majority of the products are made in China with big retail price tags.

Great store

Me and my husband have been regular shoppers at Home Depot the last year while building a house. We recently had an unacceptable experience. We went to the store, picked out our carpet and ordered it. They were having a deal where as long as you buy by a certain time, they would install it before Christmas. It was scheduled to be delivered and to be installed on 12/13 between 12:00 and 3:00. Around 3:00, one of the guys from PRESTIGE FLOORING (which is the 3rd party) called and said that they were running late and that it would be closer to 5 before they arrived. My husband told him that we would need to probably reschedule because the lights had not been cut on yet and it would be dark. The guy from prestige flooring said that they had to install, that they would do it with flash lights. They finally show up and one of the guys stayed out side and the other went up stairs to look over both rooms. He started flipping the light switch on and off. My husband asked what he was doing because we had told them on the phone that we did not have lights upstairs. He said that we did not tell him that and that he did not tell us that he would use flash lights. He basically told us that we made that story up. He started cussing at us and told us that he would not be coming back to install our carpet until we poured our driveway (which is in great condition). I have never dealt with such poorly customer service. We did call customer service and we did call Prestige Flooring shortly after they left leaving marks in the gravel from leaving so fast. Both said that they would follow up and make sure that everything was taken care of. Neither of them took care of anything. It will be a week Friday, we finally was able to call and get a refund. We will not be ordering from them again. Horrible service.

We need some changes in our Home Depot store please. This is where I just purchased $2700. in material and had to load it myself! I ask for some one to help with 6x6s and 2x6s that were 16 long and all we got for and answer was that we do not have anyone to help! Employees walking around in the store but no one to help. Also the stores in other areas where we live have a much better selection of supplies. I do not understand these problems but I if I might have to change my place of shopping!! This is not the 1st time this has happened!

Poor planning for check out in your garden area. Today there was one cashier in garden department with people lined up to the bac area. I am a senior and have knee issues but in order not to check out in the garden department. I had to walk to the other end of the store. Passing by the return and pickup desk with two people who were not busy but cant check ne out. Management is bad in this store. I welcome Lowes to open and shut home depot down.
