My experience was terrible Doug said he did things and parts and he did not left duck tape kept getting more money from me and did not fix my truck and I paid him over 3,000$ dollars he ripped me off do not trust him the owner!

This is the best mechanic/shop that I have met in California since I have been here (a few years)! Doug is an exceptionally kind and fair mechanic/owner of the shop.My pregnant wifes old car broke down right before her due date and Doug not only fixed the car in record time and for a VERY reasonable price, he also de-fogged both of her headlights without charging me so we can try to get a better trade in value when we go to trade in her car.I am happy because I now have a good mechanic that I feel I can trust in the bay area. Went to Pure Platinum automotive shop with a overheating problem been having lately with my Corvette and talked to Doug the mechanic within minutes he had found out the problem he then gave me some options gave me a great price ordered the part and had it delivered and within a hour he was totally done and I never had a problem with my engine overheating again .Doug really makes you feel comfortable and confident with his workmanship when all was done he presented me with the part that was malfunctioning and had melted prior before having Doug evaluate the problem. We originally found this place on Groupon for an oil change. We came in and met with Doug and he took great care of us. I had a problem with the breaks in my car months later and I came to check with Doug. He had the best price and the best service. He worked on my car with such care and he is probably the most honest mechanic that you will meet. He actually cares about you, your car, and your wallet! I had given him the OK to put in a part that was going to cost me around $1100. Once he put the part in and everything was done, he said he was able to get the part at a much cheaper price and gave me the difference. He could have easily just taken the extra couple hundred dollars. HE IS SO HONEST!!! USE HIM!

Brought my Corvette in for an oil change. I was very impressed with how clean and organized the place is. Doug was so friendly and knowledgeable and he even has a TV and coffee in the waiting room. My husband will be bringing his truck in on Saturday and he now has customers for life.

I brought my Z3 in with engine noise. Doug at Pure Platinum quickly found the problem and called me with a quote. I asked him to go ahead and he fixed the problem and also found and fixed a few other issues (low transmission fluid). I found him to be very professional, charged exactly what he quoted, communicates very well what the issue is and overall did a great job. I will definitely be back.
