Awesome place. My new car had some really minor scratches and distortion due to parking in small slots. The owner fixed them as it did not happened, only took 5min. They are also straightforwardly told me how to fix small scratches myself, and how large scratches on paint should have a full repaint and gave me quotes that are reasonable. Nice people and frank communication.

As a young woman with little car expertise, I was stressed and worried about going into a major car repair. However, I lucked out with finding this shop. I was absolutely impressed with the amazing costumer service, professionalism and kindness I experienced with the company. My experience was completely stress free and they took care of everything. They answered all my questions and honestly went above and beyond.I had extensive work done on my car and they did an incredible job. My car looks spotless. This is how an auto body shop should be! Clean and professional.Our catalytic converter was stolen and our insurance gave us a few choices. I reached out to each one and also did a little research on reviews.Christine Pizarro called back and explained perfectly and told me they could get it done in a day. She sounded very reliable and I was done with my search. I went ahead and scheduled a time.A tow came to pick up my car right on time and my car was ready in a few hours.Upon arrival, I was greeted with a big smile from Christine +1. They had an artwork of a dog sticking his head out the car window +1. A friendly mechanic came out to explain what was done to the car +1. The car was even wrapped up inside to not make it dirty +1. Then when I came back, paperwork was ready to go +1. Wow, it was just perfect.Thank you. I would highly recommend these guys.

Ive been using Active Auto Body for many, many, many years. Im way overdue giving them the awesome review they deserve. I first discovered them in Bay Area Checkbook years ago where Active Auto Body was rated high for quality and price.My experience with other body shops in the Silicon Valley area were usually frustrating, especially with paint matching and blending. Since I started using Active Auto Body years ago, I have never ever considered taking my cars to any other shop. Active always does a stellar job without hassles or delays.I have State Farm insurance and Active is a preferred body shop for State Farm. This means that State Farm trusts Active to act as the insurance adjuster so I never have to deal with adjusters. Active also works with rental car companies so I can drop off my car for repairs and they will have a rental car waiting for me. This makes it about as hassle free as it gets.I am very picky and detailed. Active Auto Body always exceeds my expectations. Active Auto Bodys quality work, professionalism, reasonable prices, and congeniality make them a no brainer to recommend. If I could give them 10 STARS, I would.

I have been to Active Auto Body 3 times and all were great experiences. The first time was when I was in an accident a few years ago and I was recommended to come here. The process was smooth, quick, and they did a wonderful job. The second time I came was to get a quote on a little dent and they were able to give me an estimate right away. As it was a minor cosmetic issue, it wasnt worth it for me to get it fixed, but their customer service is always great. I went there third time last month when someone tried to yank my side mirror and it was tilted slightly downwards. They amazingly were able to detach and reattach the mirror properly within 15 minutes and didnt even charge anything!

Perfect, friendly, professional service. Made the process really easy.I got rear ended on 101 and the other partys insurance accepted liability (state farm). I chose active auto body and they made the experience seamless. They got the claim information automatically and set me up with an appointment 1.5 weeks out. They also helped arrange a rental car so that I could just switch cars at their location and be on my way. Repair of dent on rear hatch and replacement of bumper took about 3 days and I got my car back looking how it was supposed to.Would definitely recommend.

Perfect experience. Under 1 week turnaround for partial I-frame replacement (among many other things replaced/fixed). Our Honda CRV was crashed into while parked on Sunday night and we got it towed on Monday morning to Active Auto Body, but we were busy so couldnt go in until the next day for the initial meeting. We went in Tuesday to go over the plan of action and sign some paperwork, they called on Wednesday after taking the CRV apart to give us the final estimate and timeline. Pick up on Friday with walkthrough and paperwork, on time and under budget from the initial estimate (which was already lower than we expected), but since we only paid deductible it didnt really matter. Overall fast and professional experience all around, would highly recommend and will use in the future (if needed, though hopefully our car wont be crashed into again just parked on the street).- Jerry

Took my Honda here for repairs( was hit from the behind and got covered by Statefarm), I am really impressed by their service, the auto rental was there when I dropped off my car, they kept me updated from the beginning to the end, and what’s more, they actually cleaned my vehicle upon returning to me! This review is overdue. Ive had many great experiences at Active Auto Body. Thats because for about 2 years I rented cars on Turo and lets just say that there are some bad drivers out there, so Ive had to take my cars at this shop several time. I no longer rent cars, but I resently took my sons car there and as always, their work is exceptional. Everyone Ive dealt with there is great including the reseptionist, who is always very profesional and cordial.

I like this body shop. I have taken cars here after collisions and find that the work is well done and is a good value. I have also had some paint fail from Volkswagen and had that car repainted also. I find that the people here are honest, competent and very helpful. I think if you have work done here, you will be happy.

From the time I called to the time I picked up my car they were top notch!Dont hesitate to call and have them work on your cars bodywork. Ask them about the car rental deal they can get you if you need a car while its being worked on.I had a personal car project which was beyond my capabilities... Over the phone I discussed my issue and they gave me the support and info I needed. I was hesitant to leave my car because its my only way around but they get you an amazing deal for a rental car. I brought the car in the next day (a very professional office) and discussed the issue with Shawn. (I think he is the owner) He was sure that its the after market part that was causing the problem and did not push me to leave the car. I was the one who asked him to take the car to give me a report to determine if its a faulty part or something wrong with my car. (I would pay for the labor) I called back a few hours and they were able to get the part on my car. Shawn showed me what was going on and the part isnt perfect but they did all that I could ask them to do... which is to make it work...I was able to leave the rental car at the shop and not have to make an extra trip to return it.I was hesitant on calling a body shop for my help but after this experience I wish I had done it sooner.

I had work done on my BMW about a year and a half ago. Not knowing anything about body work, I trusted a friends recommendation. Best decision I have ever made. They are so honest, respectful, accommodating and incredibly trustworthy. The work is that of an artist, and along with what I have said so far, the people who actually do the body work, are gifted. I am actually getting ready to take the same car back in for a significant scratch I acquired about eight months ago. Please do yourself a favor, and when and if you need any body work done, take it to these folks. I can guarantee you will NOT be disappointed. Ive been driving for 57 years, and this is my first visit to a body shop. Wow! They are great. An extremely friendly owner and competent staff. The repair took less time than they estimated. The temporary rental car was great. And they cleaned my car outside and inside.

This place was on list of approved vendors for crash repair from State Farm. Got bad vibe from receptionist, basically got scolded for not knowing the standard procedures -- I get auto body work done about once a decade on average. Estimator looked at car for five seconds. You may do this all day every day, but you should remember that your customers dont, and you should show a little more empathy.Needless to say, I took my car somewhere else.

I would have given them 6 stars. Great experience...staff is very friendly and efficient. Dropped in for an estimate on a small dent in the bumper. Javier took a look, fixed it for me in less than 10 mins....for no charge since it was very minor fix. He also gave me a reasonable estimate for fixing passenger side door....definitely going back to these guys to get it fixed.

Just got my car back from Shawn. It was estimated to be done next week, but I was having issues with insurance not covering the rental car that long so he was able to get it done today (two days early) so I could avoid the extra charges and enjoy having my car over the weekend.Taking cars into a body shop in general is stressful, but whenever Ive taken my cars into Active, he and his staff are awesome. On top of greeting you by name over the phone, they make the process easy when it comes to dealing with insurance. Its like their motto says Making friends by accident.Shawn himself is very involved in making sure that things are done right and that there are no shortcuts in quality. He takes time out to explain the damage and how theyre going to fix it. Hes even taken me into his shop to see my car being worked on!I was bummed because I thought I had damaged my rental car, and showed it to Shawn. He knew immediately that it wasnt damaged and went to the back to grab some cleaning supplies and a hand buffer, taking his time to get what ended up being external paint off. Keep in mind that Shawn is the owner of Active and doesnt need to do the work himself, but he chips in all the time, including hand washing the cars before giving you back the keys.Ive had to get my cars repaired a few times at Active Auto, and its the only place that I trust to get the work done right.Shawn is also very honest. When I showed him a scratch on my hood from another incident, he told me that it wasnt worth it to fix. However, he could tell that it still bothered me and touched it up free of charge.I dont see how anyone could ever have a negative experience at Active.Hopefully, I wont need to take my car in for repairs, but if I do, Im always going to take it to Active Autobody.

I went in to get an estimate for a minor fender bender I had been in and I had the pleasure of meeting Shawn. First impression, organized, clean and professional environment. The gal at the front desk had a very friendly and welcoming demeanor, I later found out that her name was Desiree. In the short 15–20 minutes I was there, Shawn had performed a very thorough check-out of my damaged bumper and had given me a detailed, line-by-line professionally printed summary of the damage. I walked out of there knowing that if i had gone anywhere else, i wouldve been setteling for less than the best!! I will definitley be keeping their business card for future use, if need be. I am very pleased with these guys. Not only did they give me thorough and efficient service (they did a great job on my bumper), but they were considerate, responsive and they even gave me a hefty discount as a new customer.

I had a very nice experience, when I went to fix my front bumper today. My car bumper was hanging out and they reattached it for free of cost in no time. Their advice on my car scratches are worth listening.

They fixed the damage and took care of everything. But when I picked up my car one of the central pillars color came of. Guess they had something sticking on it while working and it came of when they removed it. They are going to take care of it but I need to come in again. They could’ve avoided that.
