A nice and well kept store. Even one day when I was dropping off cheese at the place next door, one of the employees was nice enough to give me a free slice of medium yellow cheddar cheese while I waited.

Best cheese in Southern Wisconsin

Great place to go if you are looking for a good Wisconsin made cheese! They carry specialty cheese, common varieties and fresh cheese curds! We come here to get cheese curds to take as gifts to people we visit out of state.

The cheese is solid quality. Fairly Priced. However the service is slow and has a real amount of trouble processing an order. I still buy the cheese they manufacture but get most of it in the grocery store now. (Update, since moving to the area I have found that the mozzarella I buy at the local Pick n Save grocery store is fresher, much fresher, than what Homestead keeps in stock.)

I have lived in North Texas most of my life. But my father grew up in SunPrarie. For as long as I can remember, when we are in Wisconsin we have always gone here for cheese. Even now with my kids, this is where we go. The cheese is always amazing and the squeaky cheese curds... well they are pretty great.Love that Wisconsin Cheese
