They moved down the street from their previous location (two minutes tops) and I love the new store! They have everything I need and are always helpful. I highly recommend the Sugar Land location.

Ask for Amanda. Best customer service. She is very dedicated,Very knowledgeable and very helpful. I’ve been going there past few months and always had best experience. All the staff is really very kind and helpful. The store was clean and organized. If they don’t have something in stock they make it available in a day or 2 and call you. Never got helped like that at any other location.

I just moved to Houston and located my nearest salon supply store. This store is an absolute joke. They have *no* stock. Giving one star is too generous... I am literally fascinated by how incredibly empty and lacking this place is and how it continues to do business. Where do stylists buy anything around here? Surely not this place.

The employees at this location are very rude and racist! Its evident! They were extremely nice to the white ladies that came in! I was never acknowledged and was ignored! I thought it was just me so I went a second time and the same thing happened again! Its so sad that people still act this way towards minorities! I am a salon owner and have lots of money to spend. All they are doing is hurting themselves and their business! I will never come here again and will advise others not to come here as well! I only go to the location on 290 and the beltway. The ladies there are very helpful and nice! They acknowledge me with a smile and know me by name!

SAVE YOURSELF A TRIP AND DONT COME HERE!I wish Google allowed users to score lower than Poor - Fair. Never have I been in an environment where I was completely disrespected and dehumanized as a customer. Rude, racist, and unapologetic employees AND franchise owner does not even to describe the jerks at this location.I went in this afternoon with two friends (who are non-white) to purchase a Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Keratin Intensive Shampoo and the employee working there, Jennifer, was rude and ignored us most of my duration in the store (yet she was extremely helpful to the white customers). It wasnt until I went up to the register to purchase the product where another employee, Amanda, came up to me and demanded that I put my purse down on the counter. She said she saw me shoplifting and products in my purse from the video camera. I told her I didnt steal anything but decided to put my purse down anyway. She went through my purse and didnt find anything, did not apologize for accusing me, and just disappeared in the back of the store.I was completely shocked and humiliated that she did this in front of everyone at the store. I went back to the store after dropping my friends off and told both employees what they did was completely unprofessional and demanded their names. They kept saying they were just doing their jobs and did not apologize until I pointed out the fact that they refused to apologize. Amanda, the rude employee who went through my stuff, even had the audacity to put her hand in my face, roll her eyes, and say, Whatever and then disappeared off into the back of the store AGAIN.What makes matters even worse is that my friend called the franchise owner, Devon, to tell him what happened and he just kept going on and on about having a theft problem at the store and how these ladies were just doing their jobs. So basically, he doesnt care how his employees treat customers.I feel like the situation would have been remedied if all they did was apologize for accusing me of stealing and if they were a lot nicer about the whole situation. The fact that they were rude and felt entitled and didnt even have the courtesy to say they were sorry makes me enraged.I will never shop at Armstrong McCall ever again, especially at the Sugar Land location and any location owned by Devon Abbott. The fact that the franchise owner does not see anything wrong with this problem is a problem itself.

New owner not jerks but they literally never have anything. Just tried to order color that’s been out of stock for weeks and they said it could take 3 weeks to come in. Why don’t you have an overstocked supply in November and December???? Guess I’ll start ordering from company and just not come back 🤷🏽‍♀️

This is the review for the employee name james or john whatever. i went so many time at this location never experience this disrespect and insult. he humiliated me by talking so loud to scare me but i didnt. I think the owner should should take it seriously if wants to save this business. BTW the owner comes on Monday if anyone wants to see him. i am super busy and wasnt able to.

The worst customer service........I have been to other Armstrong McCall Stores in Houston and this one has by far the worst customer service I have ever come across. Will definitely not be returning to this one... I will go further down 69.

This is the worst Arm Strong McCall that i have ever been to so far, starting from their knowledge to their products to helping their customers, the guy actully said look for it there, when i asked for specific product, i wasted 10 minutes until one of the guys actually moved from his seat and came to help me. No labels no tags no guide, and when i went to to pay the guy at the register was so rude.My advice dont go there no matter what, go to the one at Westhimer near Phoencia.

I was at this store today and had to buy alot of stuff the first thing i tried to get was 2 amplify shampoos matrix gallon size which was on the display rack when i brought it to the counter the rude lady said they were on hold for somebody she treated me differently maybe because of my color n the white lady before was treated very nicely n politly showerd with alot of free gifts i felt really bad n did not purchase any thing from them instead drove to another armstrong near hilcroft were i was treated respectfully i loved their customer service n told them about my bad experience i will never go back to them

I would give this place zero star if possible. Like other reviews have said, the customer service is horrible. The two guys that worked there arent helpful, rude, and just plain lazy. I went there recently and they the service is still the same even though I was told its under new management. I will file a complaint to the BBB.

I saw the other bad reviews that seem to be true. But it was an old employee who I am not sure if work there anymore. But I have been going at this location and had a very good experience. Infact they told me I qualify for free items so got those too.
