I tried to purchase a childs PFD. I selected red but they emailed to say that red was out of stock so would I take blue. I said fine to switch to blue but I still needed the 3 day shipping. Well, they did not change it to blue. They shipped nothing. So, I emailed to cancel order - and the same guy says they didnt charge me because red was out. Im super baffled. Poor customer experience and will not ever buy from this company in the future

I tried to do something really nice for my husband and bought him a $200 pair of sailing shoes. When they came, it was the wrong shoes, the box was a mess and they looked like someone had returned them already. Did I mention they were even the wrong type of shoe? I request a return right way, sent them back as requested, had them tracked and the return was received to Landfall 18 days ago. They have not returned the money, and I have sent 4 emails mails to confirm that they got the shoes back and to inquire on the status of the return but cannot get any reply! I will never ever trust this company again!

Sean Fleischman, President, refused to complete a 6,000 order due to his demand for an additional $100 for shipping. Due to Covid-19, I do not go to the office and he refused to acknowledge what the rest of the world sees as a pandemic. I would avoid this company.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I bought a 90 ft mainsheet and they shipped me the wrong size. I called to get a refund and they denied my refund completely. I was even willing to reorder with a discount and they ignored my request. If you work with Keith, try to ask for someone else because not only was he rude on the phone, he was unprofessional.

After reading some of the reviews I think it is apparent that people do not understand what this store is.If you are looking to buy a popular retail item online for 5% less than you can find it at another online site, this is not your store.If you are looking for the best purveyor of sailing related, dinghy to offshore, on the East Coast of the US, there is no better option. If you would like to speak to an educated staff, who understands the products they are selling, and is capable of helping you find the correct tool for whatever problem you are trying to solve -- what is the best foul weather gear for this type of use, what of knife should I carry for emergency purposes, my child is beginning to sail, what gear does he need -- these are your guys.

I bought a pair of PFDs from them. I had seen them on their site, but had questions about their fit. Their customer service over the phone was excellent, they answered my questions, took my order over the phone and got it shipped within the hour.

This is not a West Marine Store not to take anything away from West Marine. this store is for the serious navigator; the offshore sailor, ocean racer or as in my case, the place to go when you absolutely need accurate current data for long out of the way deliveries .I run a vessel delivery service and work with a water rescue company. My gear has to be top notch, my safety equipment SOLAS rated and current, my paper and electronic charts have to be recent vintage. When something goes wrong with an order they immediately Man up. I have used them for decades and find them an invaluable source for the boating professional.

Ordered a Patagonia Jacket online for my wife for Valentines day. Several days later I got an email that they dont have it stock and will not ship it. No offer for another product. Just that they will not fulfill my order. Very frustrating.

I purchased the Wichard Emergency Boarding Ladder in case my husband or I fell overboard from our 38 sailboat. The canvas ladder was unsuitable for this purpose. It would not stay vertical in the water - when we tried to climb up it from the water, the ladder would swing out vertically. I would not recommend this ladder to any boat owner. I had purchased this product in April for a June birthday present for my husband and we left June 1st for Greece for 3 months. When I returned to Florida, I asked for 50% of my money back but they would not make an exception to their return policy. It cost $129.95 and could only be used for rock climbing.

Landfall Navigation advertises popular items online at a very low price simply to get the customer onto their webpage, and then the company wont follow through with that advertisement even when asked to do so.  Very disappointing.

AHoy Mates! Customer Service for this company stinks. I ordered 2 pair of short s spent $170.00. When they send out an order they do not give you a return sticker to process a possible return.Well the short were to small for my husband for his Fathers Day surprise.I rang them on Monday June 20th and the were good to replace but they said it was my error (my husband is a M is most things!) and that I had to pay shipping and handling to return and to get the new size. WHAT IS WRONG with this Picture. CS agent was like ya so what, do want to exchange or not???? I will spend money else where in the future. Sailors can afford a boat they got money, this place will take it from you!

The one-on-one service by knowledgeable staff has been cinsistently excellent. I have the advantage of stopping in to their Stamford, CT head quarters. Sometimes you just have to find the time to plan a visit. Right off Exit 6 Interstate 95 un Stamford.

Horrible customer service. Make you ask a lot of questions before buying anything online. I got the wrong maps, yes my mistake, I wanted to exchange them. I called 10 min after I received them from UPS. No answer. Emailed them, the next day I got an email response they don’t take back “dated” material. Wow. Really. It was 10 min old. I’ll never do business with your company again and slam you all over my marina and hatch club.

Very upset. I ordered Sperrys online last night. Called this morning to ask a question and was told sorry we r sold out so I would be getting a refund. When I ask then how was I able to buy them I was told their online site isnt up to date with the store. That is no right at all! I was so happy to find them $40 lower then all other stores and this was the only reason my husband let me get them. Now I cant get any at all bc I dont have $90 for shoes I have 2 kids. U shouldnt take someones money (which they have taken out of my acct) if u dont have the item to sell. Now who knows how long it will take to get my money back. I will never shop here again
