Rob was the perfect sales consulting agent. He explored our needs in conjunction with style, color, overall motif and made the best of suggestions to make our bedroom redesign. Rob also walked us around for accessory ideas and thoughts about other rooms. Incredibly professional, documentation was perfect, delivery as expected, delivery guys very professional. 5 Stars for Rob, couldnt have asked for better, plus hes stylish and fun. We have worked on two projects with Terry Anastos at the Stamford Ethan Allen store. Both time, she was able to suggest beautiful pieces that worked wonderfully in our spaces. She knows her products well and has an artistic eye for design and color. Most recently, she was able to suggest a perfect sleeper sofa for our tricky antique space. We love the simple design and beautiful blue leather. We will definitely seek her expertise for any future decorating projects.

I came to Ethan Allen this past weekend looking for design help as I just bought my first apartment in Greenwich. I had no idea what to do with the living room – all my friends and family had opinions, but I was confused. Allison was able to take the measurements provided by the complex and turn them into a 3-D floorplan right while I sat with her at the store and together, we chose items that fit my budget and living style. I was so impressed that she was able to work on the fly with me.Allison will definitely be my go-to designer for all my projects; I highly recommend working with her.

I have been looking at the Kayla bed for some time now, but when I went to go purchase it the bed had been discontinued. However, Andrea from Ethan Allen was so helpful she called the warehouse, and asked if the frame still existed. So they were able to make the bed. She also helped with the fabric trying to replicate the one that used to be made for the bed. She was so amazing and helpful. Im so happy to finally have the bed of my dreams, and I owe to Andrea Chasanoff.

I recently was in the Stamford Store and had the pleasure of meeting Terry Anastos and Linda DeSilva. I needed help with a design and suggestion on how to lay out my space and suggestions on room style. I originally came to Ethan Allen with very little idea of what I wanted. We had just purchased a new home and needed it furnished quickly, though neither my wife nor I have much design sense. I am so happy to have found Allison Lee at Ethan Allen as my designer. I was looking to create a bedroom oasis using some bright colors along with animal prints. Allison was able to take my idea and create an exciting yet elegant space. My color choices and prints could have resulted in a chaotic room, but she was able to reign my thoughts and tendencies and the results are pure perfection! Stamford Ct store is horrible. I have shopped before and didnt like my particular salesperson but did like the quality. The manager At the time had told me who would be a good match for me next time I needed furniture but I had forgotten the name. When I went in to give them another chance I was basically so turned off by the receptionist I left. Never made it past her. I explained I would like a salesperson and I asked her the names of who was available thinking I would recognize the name the manager had told me. I had also told the receptionist that I had worked with someone before that I did not like last time. She looked annoyed and said do you remember who it was? I told her the name. She said She wouldnt give me that person but I couldnt pick who worked with me. Its which salesperson thats next. I said what do you mean I cant pick? The manager had told me of who would be a better match for me. She was irritated and rude. Never heard of not getting to pick your salesperson. She said who told you that? I said Beth. She said well shes not a manager! I mean who cares whether shes a manager shes a representative of the store and why be combative with a customer! I said screw it why would I give these people my money again if the first impression walking in the door is negative?! What a shame they spend so much money on rent only to have their receptionist turn customers off. Stamford ct. you need to find someone that welcomes customers, dresses the part and makes people feel comftorable. This was the extreme opposite.

I have worked with two different design consultants at Ethan Allen at two different points in time. In both cases I have found them to be thoroughly knowledgeable about their products and services, very professional, extremely helpful in selecting furniture, fabrics, accessorizing and identifying furniture, designs and fabrics that work well together. Theyve been excellent on follow through and communication (regarding completing the transaction, delivery and options for protecting furniture). Neither design consultant was pushy - both were extremely engaged and gave me an opportunity to assess and think through my decisions. Beyond that they were just both really nice lovely people!

I worked with Tai from the Stamford CT location and he was extremely helpful. Got my dining room buffet and a lovely painting that goes with it. Service was excellent. thank you!

Bought about $10,000 worth of furniture a few years back, some issues that I was ultimately able to bring to the attention of their management, and they are remedying them even though the items are out of warranty. So I am grateful for that.

I purchased a sofa, dresser, bed and night table from the Ethan Allen store in Stamford, CT. TAI QUAN handled my purchase professionally and it was a pleasant experience. Additionally, TAI QUAN was cordial and had excellent knowledge of EA furniture and interior design. TAI QUAN happily answered all of my questions resulting in a smooth transaction. I highly recommend TAI QUAN and the EA in Stamford.

Ive been working with Tai Quan at Ethan Allen and cant recommend him enough! Ive never worked with a designer before, so I wasnt sure what to expect. Tai has gone above and beyond to educate me and help me choose whats right for me and my familys needs. He is realistic and practical and Ive loved whats hes helped me choose so far!

If I could give zero stars, I would. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ETHAN ALLEN. I placed an order online for a coffee table on January 8 and still have not heard from them. Today is January 17. I paid an additional fee for Premier Home Delivery and have not received a phone call or email in regards to scheduling a delivery date. I called the 1-888 number on the original order email and can not get a live person, instead am asked to leave a message and no one has called me back. I called a physical store and had to press a store associate to step in and help because they said they can not help because my order is an online order. How incredibly frustrating.

I will never shop at this location! Really unprofessional and tacky. I purchased at another EA and came to this store to review my purchase. From the onset, Tai Quan (who is also mentioned in a negative comment below) was really negative and nasty about the EA store I purchased from AND about the furniture I purchased. I never asked for his opinion, but he was eager to share. It was uncomfortable and off putting. EA should re-evaluate the people who represent them and their brand. 👎
