Visited today. Do not touch anything with your hands! I wanted to try perfume, the assistant sprayed perfume on the bloter - Im in a mask. Can I recognize the smell?I asked to spray on my coat sleeve - the assistants answer - we do not spray on clients.Seriously ?????????I have seen many times how the assistants in all the stores of this brand spray perfume on themselves, in the middle of the day (regardless of the customers).Do I need to come back here?Why does Sephora pay consultants salaries? (they just talk to each other in an empty store!)PS: In Macys (in the same building) a nice girl was happy to sprayed perfume on my coat. Draw your own conclusions

Found everything that I was looking for. Went in later on in the evening to avoid lines and crowds because I actually needed help/recommendations. Ive gone earlier and its been busy. Friendly and knowledgeable customer service. Loved the products in the store. Just need to test them on a regular day and especially in different lighting.

The manager is awful. Pretty much most of the staff is rude and indifferent. I hope they go out of business or completely turn over their staff. The Greenwich location is much nicer. The guys there are helpful friendly and very cool.

Stephanie did a great job - she coached me on what to do and in what order to get a lasting look. Would recommend the makeover to really see what the products look and feel like...some of it is surprising.

I felt like nobody helped me at all. I asked for help and I was ignored. Im going for a refund on Monday tomorrow at Stamford and Im going to cancel my membership because some products I bought did not work (thats why Im asking for a refund) and the employees were just not nice and welcoming to me.

Today was my first time shopping at Sephora. I thought I was going to have a nice experience because I’ve heard really good things about this place but it was a night mare. I went with my boyfriend and I started looking around and I was so amaze with everything they had. I was approach by one lady and she asked if I needed any help. I didn’t. Mind you I work at Ulta so I already know much of everything. So I was asked by two more other lady’s and I said no to them again... than I was asked by one more lady with red hair. I said no again and than the same lady asked me again and I looked at my boyfriend in disbelief. They were following me around all over the store, the red headed lady was staring me down and kept her eyes on my shopping bag I felt soooo uncomfortable that I didn’t even had a peaceful time shopping I wasn’t even done with getting the things I was planing on buying. I felt eyes on me everywhere I went. I just wanted to get out of their. I went to the register to buy the things that I got. Mind you I spend almost 200 dollars on the things I got. I recommend you guys not to shop at this Sephora at all!!! After that I went to the Sephora in Norwalk and the girls their were so much nicer!!! I finished getting the things I wanted to buy and I felt so comfortable being their and shopping without people starring at my every move. I spend another 200 dollars, sooo if you want to buy makeup I highly recommend going to the one in Norwalk. WAYYYY better!! I’ll never be shopping at this Sephora ever again.

Staff are friendly and knowledgable. They were able to answer all my questions and helped me try and test a sample of a product I was interested in. Sephoras are usually high quality and this one is no exception. Great store!

In the past 8 months I have purchased two $50 gift cards for my daughter. BOTH TIMES I was told by the cashier that she was entitled to a free makeover, but it was never explained to me that the entire $50 gift card must be redeemed the same day as the makeover. My daughter attempted to schedule the makeover today, but because one gift card was used up entirely and other the was partially used, she was told she would have to make AN ADDITIONAL $50 purchase. Service at this store is unacceptable. We will be shopping at Lord & Taylor or Blue Mercury from now on!

There is a big staff, but all of them are really unhelpful, and treat me indifferently since I saw the reviews it is not only me. This store hire unprofessional people . I got there with the purpose of make a big purchase.. but I got out of there without nothing... when I asked to a lady for help she send me to another lady in the front, when I got to the front all i saw was people from the staff talking. I thought someone was waiting for me there, but i was wrong. So I decided to ask for help, and when I call the attention to a lady, and I said what I was looking for, the lady send me to look for it, by myself.. I said REALLY!!!!.. such a horrible experience.. definitely I never go back there again. And keep doing my purchases atULTA❤....

I am a regular shopper at Sephora. I used to shop at the Westchester Malls Sephora. Their customer service was always excellent and pleasant. The Stamford Sephora is an entirely different experience. These women are unbelievably rude! They are bothered when you ask them anything. They are also too busy talking to eachother than to greet someone walking into the store. I have had multiple unpleasant experiences at this location. They need to understand they are in the customer service industry. They are currently nothing but a reflection of the demise of the Stamford Mall.

I have a VIP Rouge card and that I have used this year. Today I tried making a purchase and did not the the right amount of points. Called the call center and was told Im not a VIP Rouge anymore, just like that. You just lost a client. Im canceling the yearly subscription for free shipping since I will not be using Sephora anymore.

I’m literally just writing this review because I don’t think the reviews done before are just. I love Sephora and every time I come to this store the workers are amazing and always help me out. I’ve never had a bad experience here and I come at all different times and I’m different days. I’m pretty sure the staff recognizes my face by now and I know a few on them on the first name basis because of how often I go. Honestly don’t listen to the others, I know I’m the outliner but Sephora over Mac any day.

I usually shop at the Sephora in the danbury fair mall (much bigger selection in my opinion) anyways I was shook by the customer service at this location. Normally I walk into Sephora am greeted and within the first 2 minutes am asked if I need any help... here NOPE they will look you up and down while watching you search for products and not say a single word, when I asked if they have lipstick samples or could make me one I was told no... which is ridiculous your telling me in a MAKEUP store you don’t have any lipstick samples the women didn’t even give me time to specify a brand or shade range before saying no... I will not be going back to this Sephora, learn how to treat your customers. Thx.

I had different experiences in that sephora store. I went there once (and was obvioysly very pregnant) asked for staff help to get an eyeliner, they just overlooked me! I waited for a good 20 min before someone addresses me. She said yes I can help you and then disappeared for another 15 min! I finally decided to leave. Lately I ve been there and I had a completly different experience. The people were very welcoming and almost zero waiting time.

Came here earlier today with my friend and they suspected we were stealing. Kept getting stopped by different employees giving us baskets to shop around with and then there was this one employee who kept talking to us and she said she is working around the area that we were at, but kept following us. It got really uncomfortable and her convos on the walkie was very clear they felt we were stealing. I have worked in a few places that know what to do when people are stealing and they did all steps and it just really overwhelmed me, wont even leave us alone after seeing that we arent doing anything. Never coming back here again, Ill stick to MAC

The store itself is freaking awesome,but the level of customer service is sub par,many times I have visited,was ignored,and or stared down by the mall security guard,not sure why. I was the only one being watched, hopefully I wasnt being profiled.
