Grabbed what I thought was a sweet pre-owned car from Springfield Hyundai..Come to find out I purchased a fixer- upper. A month in and the brake light goes out and can only be changed by dealer, for a fee that is and tires are bad.. So on top of car payments looks like Ill be dumping money into repairs monthly also..Service department associate was very rude also..Buyer beware I was a first time car buyer and feel like Ive been had👎👎

Im not the type to care too much about leaving reviews, but I will go out of my way to leave a negative review on every site possible to let people know to avoid this place at all costs. Take your business and money elsewhere. If your car broke down literally in their lot, Id still recommend pushing your car to the Jeep or Honda dealerships a block down the road. 0/5 stars.

I had an amazing experience at Springfield Hyundai! After a not great experience at another dealership, I was discouraged, but Keith was so helpful and patient as we shopped for a new car. Keith was extremely knowledgeable and gave us such great confidence in the car we chose. Jack was also amazing and took his time explaining all of our paperwork and options for the Hyundai warranty. I cannot say enough great things about the staff at this dealership, and I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

I just brought my 2019 Hyundai Elantra in today for a check engine light issue and spoke with Peter. He was awesome and got me in as an emergency even though they were booked out for the next 2 weeks . I was in and out in less than 2 hours without an appointment! Everyone is so nice and friendly here ! I also met and spoke with Chris, one of the extremely personable owners, while I was sitting outside waiting for my car as I was prepared to hang out there all day ! I’m definitely bringing my car back here for service !

Horrible experience with this dealership for the most part. Most staff members in the service department should be fired if you ask me.I most recently went for an oil change in August and left with a bigger problem- my oil pipe was busted. my car is 2 years old so that means 1 of 2 things Hyundai products are poor quality or the mechanics are just inexperienced and negligent. I left the dealership on Friday was given a call and told my car would need to be there for a couple of days. i now forget the name of the dude I was working with, however after consenting to the issue being fixed all communication fell through. I got a rental car and after some days I got no word on when my car would be ready. I had to constantly call the service advisor overseeing the process. When I got tired of dealing directly with him I called the dealership. Still, no call back as promised. I had to physically go to the service department and demand an update by Friday. Once there I was told the ticket for my car was closed on Tuesday. So you mean to tell me my car was ready for pickup 3 days prior and no one, no one could have communicated that to me? The way i see it, no one cared enough to tell me. I will never patronize such an establishment again in my life! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I purchased a 2021 Hyundai elantra today. From the beginning the sales team, and the manager at Springfield Hyundai were phenomenal! I had the pleasure to deal with Mr. Curtis, and Thomas from the sales team. Both honest, upfront guys who actually take the time to talk to you regarding your needs, wants, and especially budget. They treat women with respect, and in my experience,that is honestly hard to find these days. The manager, herb, is exceptional! They really try to work within your budget, and keep you happy. I went to 4 dealerships over these last few days, and overall Springfield Hyundai had the best price, and staff. Thank you all for all you did for my mother, and I!!!! Brought my car in for a service that was recommended by Hyundai from a letter I received in the mail. My car now shuts down periodically, when in gear it doesnt drive or reverse. Even happened at a stop light. Never had this problem previously, but when I took it back the guy said he could hook it up to the OBDII for a fee of $150, even though the check engine light isnt on. The absolute worst, what kind of scam theyre running I dont know.

Very unresponsive dealer after purchase. I bought a vehicle with extended warranty and needed extended warranty information - emailed dealer (Cheryl Hinton) initially, called over 10 times in past 1 week, mail box for person responsible (Jack Kettle) is always full, left numerous messages with receptionist but havent received a call back. Only calls Ive been getting back were sales call if I am interested in another vehicle.I would AVOID this dealership.

Springfield Hyundai is filled with really excellent people. Valerie and Keith made sure the car we were test driving was ready when we got there and we were able to test drive within moments of arriving. Purchasing the vehicle was so straightforward and the customer service was amazing. We felt valued even though we purchased a used vehicle. The car we bought runs great, has excellent mileage and was detailed again before we left the dealership. It was a family excursion and everyone there was kind to my husband, our toddler and me. We will definitely be return customers.

I purchased a 2012 Hyundai Sonata with less than 65,000 miles less than a year ago and driven it less than 5,000 miles. Within the first two months, the car has experienced engine issues (completely stalled and lost power while I was on a busy highway). Initially took it to a mechanic who identified it as being an engine issue under the standing engine recall order. The car was towed to the dealership. I incurred so many expenses while dealing with and waiting for the dealership to fix the issue. Got my car back, filed a reimbursement claim, never heard back from anyone. The claim still says “in review” after all of this time.Fast forward to yesterday, the car accelerator started doing exactly what it was doing prior to me stalling on the highway. The difference being that the engine light did not come on and that my brake light would not shut off even when the car was powered off. I was able to make it all the way home without incident and called the dealership immediately to schedule a service appointment. I brought the car in today for diagnostics and was told that I had to pay $140 for the test and if anything is wrong with the car, additional costs. I waited a period of time before I was told that the brake light was an electrical issue (these issues are usually tied to the engine), my accelerator needs replacing (again, this issue is usually tied to the engine), both of my rear lights were out (both were working fine the prior night but may have been drained from the issue with the brake light), and a few other issues. I immediately asked for a quote to shop the issues around for a second opinion. They had me waiting around for an additional 20 minutes to give me my service statement without listing all of the items they claimed were wrong with the vehicle. I was so disgusted with this experience, I am considering escalating this matter. Why am I experiencing so many issues with a certified pre-owned vehicle that I had for less than a year and haven’t driven it more than 5,000 miles.

I have brought my Kona EV to Springfield Hyundai a few times before and never had an issue. This time, however, I brought it in for an inspection and two recalls. When I picked up the vehicle, none of the work or charges were explained, I was just told to go to the cashier. When I started looking through my bill, I noticed a note saying not only was my battery recall (a big safety one) not completed, it could not be completed at Springfield at all and I needed to go to another dealership. And they rotated my tires and charged me for it when I did not ask for it, and they had just rotated them 1500 miles previously at this same dealership.

I found their advertisement for a car in Rodo and visited them to make the deal. They didnt hold on to their advertised price, claiming that they have not worked with Rodo for a while and have not advertised there. This claim was rejected later by Rodo customer service. The actual quote they gave me was much higher. I ended up getting the same car from another dealer with a better price, still not as good as the Rodo advertisement.

On March 28, 2021, I was scheduled for my first service at Springfield Hyundai Genesis and I must say it was a complete disaster.When, I approached the service counter I was greeted by a frustrated service representative who ask me to wait until I was called. An older gentleman at the far end of the desk called me over an asked how may I help you. I politely told him, I have a 11am appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. He took my keys, and told me to sit in the lobby until the vehicle was done.Almost two hours later, I went back to the older gentleman at the service desk and asked him, Did he know much longer it would be for my service to be completed? The older gentleman went inside of the service shop and came back and said We are behide schedule but it will get done. Then, I replied how much longer. And he could not answer. At this point I requested my keys back and left.The service representative failed to inform me the service center was behind schedule and it would take longer then usual to service my vehicle which is the cause of me being disgruntled. In addition, the service representative seemed very non chant about my vehicle concerns.What happened to good customer service? I purchased a 2021 Hyundai Palisade from this dealership and I was hoping to receive the same type of service I did when I purchased the vehicle, yet it seems I was living in a utopia world.Yours Truly,An unsatisfied Customer

I went in for a new vehicle was told I had to trade my truck in to be approved so i agreed and traded it in and was told I was approved and was handed the keys and the new plate and was let leave with the vehicle and everything was good until 45 days later I received a text stating I was denied and I had to return the vehicle. They had already sold my truck and charged me for the 45 days I had the vehicle plus all the miles I put on it and a this point they tried to had me 600 of the $3000 I gave to them and then told me I could not have my truck back because I signed it to them and then I was laughed at when I talked about taking them to court this was very unprofessional springfield hyundai is a scam.

I bought 2013 Sonata for a great price. After 2 days driving vehicle check engine light started blinking. Immediately returned it. On the way to dealership transmission light came on... When I got dealership no one apologized. I was treated with disdain and was contempt. Had to aggressively follow up with management to get my money back. Will never buy Hyundai again. And definitely warn anyone who is thinking about buying from this dealership

I would never come here again. When we started taking numbers, our salesmans supervisor or manager came out and there was no negotiating the price of the car down. He had a cocky attitude and said he got the car for $9,200 which we looked up prior to going there and the car was a trade in valued at $6,570. We gave the number of what we were willing to put down for this car and they came out with a much higher number and a high monthly payment for a 60 and 75 month period of time. By the time, I was done paying, I would have ended paying more than DOUBLE of what the car is priced at. Also, the car was GREEN!!! Not yellow like in the picture. VERY MISLEADING and a waste of time. Good luck to the next.

Quintessential scam artists, who wasted my mother and me’s time on a Saturday afternoon when we need to find her a new car. I should have known immediately when I told that their “Certified” cars were not certified unless you paid an additional. $2,495; even though the certification was already conducted by the manufacturer. Then, the salesperson, Tim P., not only did not know the applicable specials but also misrepresented their applicability, i.e. you can have cash back and 0%. Next, I tried to keep him under a certain price but he showed us a vehicle several thousand more than that price range - after about an hour waiting for their computer system to work and someone to get a vehicle (since the one we came to see was not available). Lastly, but not least, they offered 20-33% of the KBB fair value for my mom’s car. A complete waste of time and glimpse at a dying breed of people and business that should not survive much longer. Avoid at all costs!!

I had a great experience here. I came in to get my timing belt changed and the water pump done. I called beforehand and the customer service was excellent, they even remembered me when I came in and had everything ready to go. I waited in the waiting room, and they had me out lickety split... Well for a timing belt change at least. I would definitely recommend this place if you need to have service done on your car.
