Great first impression. Professional service dept staff. Clean store. Greeted me right away. Unlike another near by dealership in Alexandria. Good work. Had a factory tow hitch installed on my Grand Cherokee. No serious problems and felt comfortable having this shop do the job since they had to remove the rear bumper. By the way, another dealership in Waldorf MD tried to hustle me $500 more for the same job. Also, bought my Jeep brand new in late 2020 but steering wheel was a hair off to the right on straight roads. Other Jeep dealer in Alexandria VA said they can’t fix it on warranty because it doesn’t pull, then did a tire rotation and said issue was fixed according to their mechanic. The mechanics at Safford must be more competent because they put it on alignment machine and miraculously the steering wheel no longer is a hair off to the right on straight roads. Will def be going to Safford for my Jeep service needs now.

They listened to my concerns and washed my Jeep for me. The facilities are clean and spacious. They offer complimentary beverages while I wait.

I really recommend this dealership if your interested in buying a car. Specifically the salesmen Michael Oh. He really made me feel at ease and wasn’t pushy at all. Very accommodating and knowledgeable. I really loved the atmosphere in the whole dealership as well, pretty chill vibe and everyone I came into contact with was very nice. Great experience! And I also love my new car!

The process was professional and very efficient but when I got my vehicle back the problems were still there. They told me everything was fixed but that definitely was not the case. I have to take off another day to return the vehicle when everything was supposed to be done. That was a big inconvenience for me.

You did a great job of state inspection and oil change on my 2017 Fiat 124 Spider. You also suggested about $ 500 of preventive maintenance (brake flush, etc), to which I agreed. But then Eddie James sold me a 2020 Jeep Wrangler, and took the Fiat as a trade-in. Obviously, the preventive maintenance was of no future benefit to me, since Safford now owns the Fiat. So, why don’t you refund part of that expense to my account? If you did that PM service on a For Sale used vehicle, would you charge the sales division a lesser price?

GREAT SERVICE!!After having multiple issues with Ourisman CJDR on Richmond HWY, I came here. The part that Ourisman supposedly ordered 2 months ago and hadn’t received, was ordered by Safford and received the next day. The staff offered me a rental during my service so that I wouldn’t have to wait and offered to wash my vehicle. The facility was clean and there was ample space in the waiting area to social distance.

First time attempting to purchase a vehicle outside my home state. I dont write many negative reviews because I have been in the service industry for over 15 years and know how it can be some days. This situation just irritates me to no end as a deal was made and then taken away without my knowledge. Horrible customer service! No communication with me personally between time of deal and dealership getting rid of the vehicle. I had been talking to Cameron and Mercedes over the past month about a 2016 Jeep Wrangler that I was interested in. Mercedes started talking to me when I first inquired but then Cameron picked up where she left off. I went back and forth on emails with him but suddenly dropped off communication with me towards the end of September. I reached out to Mercedes to see what had happened to Cameron because I was in the process of making a deal and she mentioned that she had not seen him for a couple days (maybe sick). Mercedes then got me in touch with Floyd in finance. There was a serious breakdown in communication between sales and finance. Floyd and I were able to come to a deal for the vehicle on 8/30/21 in which I put a deposit down and made arrangements to pick up the vehicle. At NO time did I hear a vehicle needed to be picked up 24-48 hours after sale Because Floyd told me that the vehicle would be brought to the back of the dealership where no one would bother it until my arrival. I then get a call on 9/2 stating that the dealership tried to call me several times. I have 1 call from the dealership on 8/31 that I missed and Zero voicemails or messages of any kind from anyone at the dealership. I am very thorough when I purchase a vehicle and ask all the questions out there to ensure the purchase will go through. I was not even given a chance to come pick up the vehicle sooner. Extremely disappointed with their customer service and the manger has yet to call me. All the reviews I read state that the customer service is top notch when they have walked through the doors of the dealership. This needs to happen across all platforms a dealership has at there disposal.

Our 17 Pacifica had a transmission issue on 95 traveling from NC to NY. Luckily Safford was .5 a mile from us and we were able to limp there. We felt hopeless but the guys there found us a rental van that we could pack the kids and our luggage into all within a couple of hours and we were back on the road. We were fully expecting an estimate for a transmission but they did a diagnostic test and realized they only needed to reset and update some software. They test drove it several times and called us to tell us it was ready. Very happy with the service and honesty.

I recently purchased a new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L at Safford of Springfield. It was a fantastic experience. After visiting many dealerships and having bad luck all around, Matt Barthold, salesman, was extremely helpful by being honest, transparent and informative. Although we couldn’t make a deal at my first visit (as they did not have the exact car I wanted on their lot), they remembered me and the exact details I wanted in my car and found it for me. We were able to make a deal I was comfortable with and they even delivered my car right to my home! Without Matt and Jino’s (finance) help, I wouldn’t have the exact vehicle I wanted. I also had a great experience working with Z in finance as well! He made the process seamless and was a pleasure to work with! Great service all around, thank you.

The waiting space was pleasant, and the bottled water appreciated.I was disappointed that a part I needed for my car, and which I had mentioned while scheduling the appointment, had not been ordered in advance, requiring a return trip to get it. We purchased a used Jeep from here a year ago, good experience. Had the first state inspection a year later and the mechanic rejected the car due to the fact that new law requires blinkers added to the front deflectors. I called Safford Springfield and they took 100% ownership in the situation and ordered the new parts and installed them in a few hours on a weekend day.I’m particularly impressed with Richard in the service department and his handling of my predicament.We will buy from this dealership again and also recommend to friends. Last visit was great was start to finish. I had Justin, previously, I was informed about everything they were doing, going to do, and had done. Communication was excellent. I was a little frustrated this visit and felt like I was a bother to the advisor, who took his sweet time walking to greet me, even after another advisor called him twice because I had questions about paperwork. The paperwork was filled out incorrectly. He seems annoyed at me even questioning, telling me the service tech was in a hurry, filled out the paper wrong and not to worry about it. I just felt like this was visit was subpar to my previous. This may be the norm and my previous experience may have been an isolated event. I even returned an email, when asked about my experience, I said I was frustrated and asked if, in the future, I could request specific advisors. The email was promptly answered with “yes, of course”. No questioning of my frustration or details of the experience.

This dealership is amazing, in a half century of car-buying I’ve never had such a pleasant experience. The salesperson, Mahmoud, was wonderful during and after the sales process. He located the exact car I wanted and had it at the dealership the next day. The paperwork was quick and there was no pressure sales of add-ons. When it was time to take delivery Mahmoud walked me through every one of the many features. I couldn’t have been more pleased. But the best part, the dealership manager called me a few weeks later and said he’d reviewed the transaction and I was entitled to an incentive that wasn’t applied. He issued me a check for that amount. That’s an honest car dealership.

I have no issues with the quality of service however it is the time it takes for simple tasks. Went in yesterday for a oil change and replace cabin filter. It took 1 hour and 50 minutes. Who has 2 hours to wait on a oil change. This is normal for oil changes.

My vehicle wasnt washed as promised and I was charged $42 to put the interior pad back on my brake pedal. As long as Ive been taking my vehicle to your dealership I would have thought something as simple as that would have been customer service. If I would have known I was going to be charged I would have gotten some glue and done it myself.

I bought a Dodge Grand Caravan from Safford Dodge at Springfield, VA. The price the was given to me is 18,900, while the advertised price that I received the next day in an email after I purchased the car was $17,500.The car has one chip in the windshield and one small broken piece in the light on the rear right side.I bought the car even before I see it and before I test drive it. Since you can buy a car on Carvana without looking at it, I thought Safford is a big dealer name and they will not risk their name and they will not trick me. I was thinking that I am not buying the car from somebody on the street. I bought the car while it was still at another companion site few hours away.Bad experience. I will not come back to that shop. Imagine you buy something from a salesman and the next day his colleague sends you an advertisement for the same item with a price that is $1,500 less.

Very gratifying experience that sometimes in the past was extremely frustrating with previous auto purchases at other dealerships. My salesperson, Dylan, was desirably in receive mode at all the right times and able to provide immediate informative responses. I bought a used jeep wrangler, while test driving the vehicle I noticed that the back carpet was ripped, I was assured that it would be fixed FOR FREE. before I bought the car, I bought the car and then I was told that the carpet that was in the car wasnt factory and I now have to pay $1,000 to fix the carpet??????? Best dealer service department on town.Ask for Daniel at the service department, his exceptional customer service is astonishing.Further, they have great prices and more importantly they are a honest dealership.I was told I needed rear brakes at another Jeep dealership which raised my doubts, given that I had replaced them 30,000 miles before. Daniel call me about an hour after I drop my car and said, my rear brakes had 40% left, which I knew it was around that left on the brakes.Can only say, Safford has gained a customer for life. Excellent service, but, I have to be picky. After a service of any vehicle, there should be a complimentary detail or wash & detail at the customers request. Or better yet, this should be policy. The reason I say this is because, yesterday when I got my vehicle back the dealership, it had tons of fingerprints on the exterior and interior. This could have been mitigated by a quick wash and detail. In my opinion, customers are paying 5 star prices for these vehicles and the customer should receive 5 star treatment for the same vehicles.

Drop my vehicle off Friday morning at 7:40am. Sat in lobby for over 4hrs before the service advisory talked with me. Prior to that I text the advisory but he didnt respond back. I then had to find a way to get home. The kept my vehicle from 10/8/21 until 10/19/21 and the daytime running light that was supposed to be fixed wasnt. There isnt a bulb there and now I have to return for them to complete what they said was completed after having my vehicle for 10 days with no updates on whats going on with vehicle. The service advisor had an I dont care type of attitude. Due to the lack of communication on their end I had some issues at work because this is a company vehicle. Very disappointed in the service I received 😒. I traveled from DC.

I recently bought a certified used jeep rubicon for your guys. It has been 2.5 months since purchase. Today I had repairs worth $1200. I am not cheap and I know that these cars cost money to fix but you should have known when you sold me the car that the battery was close to being dead and that the rare brakes were almost shot. Your servicemen even said that the things that needed to be repaired was in the 30-35k window. Well I bought the car with 31k so those things should have been thoroughly checked. Remember that your customer value you and expect a high level of service when they buy new used cars and that good customer service goes a long way.

Bob was very helpful and when they forgot to do my State Inspection, he made it happen and comped me the cost. I appreciated his customer service. Negatives: the mechanics left my fabric door panel with very dirty fingerprints as well as my seats. They need to use seat and steering wheel covers. Also, they did not top off my windshield washer fluid during my oil change which I expect as a courtesy.

I was in from out of town, NH, and broke down on i95 in the DC area. I had my Ram 3500 towed into Safford Dodge late at night. I called the next morning at 6:30 am, which is when there service department opens, and talked to Bob Mosser. Bob understood my predicament and he got me back on the road that afternoon. My alignment did not get completed just because your technician had to remove a skid plate under the steering column and wanted to charge an extra $85.00 to remove 4 bolts, i thought that was ridiculous and removed it my self which took me two mins to do and will be taking my jeep back so he can finish my alignment.. wasting my time 😡

I had been searching for a few weeks beforehand and found nothing I really liked until an advertisement popped up with what is now the car of my Dreams! I immediately scheduled an appointment and set off the next day! They were able to fix a difficult problem associated with my powertrain control module reaching back to Jeep for expertise. They fixed the problem and have also caught other problems such as a u-joint getting ready to fail. They caught it before a catastrophic failure happened. They we also upfront with how much it was going to cost to fix my door lock which was not responding to key fob and did not pressure me to fix it. I switch to them for service about 3 or 4 years ago and been going ever since.

I knew exactly what I wanted. 3 Salespeople combined to help me with my purchase : Spencer Colbert (Manager), Michael (Stafford salesman) and Stewart S.(title clerk). What made the difference was dealership flexibility to allow a mechanic to inspect the vehicle. There are other factors that aided in my purchase decision. One being Safford having a garage in the compound should something go wrong. I was very pleased with the service. You get what you expect.

Safford Dodge is THEE BEST when it comes to servicing your vehicle. Their customer service is impeccable. My service advisor, Justin communicated with me about what service I needed to take care of right away and what could wait. He didn’t push me to get any repairs done or try to over sell me on anything. As a female, this was very important to me because I feel like a lot of times, the dealership will try to nudge you into buying things that you don’t need. If you are looking to buy or service your Dodge or Chrysler, I would highly recommend Safford for all of your Car needs!

Perfect example of how dealership service should be.I rolled in 10 minutes prior to my appointment time and was courteously greeted by my service advisor Justin Tae. He quickly did the paperwork, the service techs took the car and I waited in the lounge. By the way the lounge was spotless with a great coffee bar.My car was serviced right on time and Justin closed me out an I was on my way.A very pleasant experience.
