I just purchased a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek and I am absolutely LOVING IT!!It was such a reliever to have great service from Brian and the whole Subaru team! Brian was super helpful and informative. He was very attentive and definitely provided the best customer service! I was even provided a tour at the end for when I need to schedule routine maintenance. Very professional and I would easily recommend to everyone!! Thank you for such great service. I will definitely be using those free car washes as well!!! Ask for Brian!

Blew a speaker. Kia uses 2 ohm, everyone else uses 4. So theyve cornered the market on that. Then they dont sell the speaker its an assembly (code for well never sell these other parts, throw them in with the speaker and call it an assembly) $252 and change. For a speaker. Last time I went they said I needed ALL my fluids changed. At the same time. Got a second opinion and the mechanic asked me what Kia was smoking. Id honestly never come back here if they hadnt cornered any type of market I try to fix on my vehicle..

Bought a 2005 gmc envoy from here and half way home a engine light came up and I have taken it to two chevy dealers at this point because it was sold as is and Im looking at buying a new head because cylinder 3s exaust valve and seat is burnt. I dont recommend anything that isnt new.This is after I called the number below. I was told that I had signed the paperwork for it being a fixer uper I knew that and I was just trying to confirm that I now have a vehicle that is worth roughly $1000 and I overpaid for it in the first place now I have to find a dealership that will change the head out for under $3000 so all in im probably going to put down around $7000 into a car including the car thats worth around $4000 on a decent day in good condition and without mechanical flaws. not to mention that It took forever to get my title.

When I showed up to look at the car I had an appointment to see, and had driven almost two hours to see, was informed that it had been taken to the auction, but was currently in its way back. Still ended up buying the car, and my salesman Alex Wells was awesome. But he had promised that he would order a bumper plug that was missing, then he quit, and I never heard anything else about it. Have attempted several times to contact them about it, but never hear anything back. Also received a recall notice, made an appointment to get it fixed, but never received any confirmation of my appointment.I love my Subaru, but ill be deal6with another dealership from now on.

I bought a 2016 Subaru Outback for slightly over 12k. Less than 2 weeks later nearly everytime i started the car the key would not come out and I would often struggle to get it to release for upwards of 15 minutes if it came out at all. I set up a service appointment online and received a call that since I marked other and it was not a typical service a technician would call me back with a time to set up. I never received a call so I called again after a week. They stated again and advisor would call me for an appointment soon. After another week I called again and was rudely told that no one called me because I stated I didnt want an appointment and had the blame placed on me. An appointment was finally scheduled and my gear shifter was replaced for more than $500. I was told it is a common problem but not a recall so their was nothing they could do other than to fix and charge me. I will never come here again.  Also the email in the reply to this review doesnt even work so I have added this comment to explain.

Our experience purchasing a new 2020 Subaru Forester Touring at Green Subaru in Springfield, Il was excellent. The sales staff (Alvin Robinson) was courteous, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Not only was purchasing the vehicle a pleasant deal, the vehicle itself is great. As far as I am concerned, the Subaru Forester is the best SUV in its class.

Best Subaru service experience ever! On a business trip from Dallas, Texas, called the Bloomington and Peoria Subaru dealerships regarding an oil consumption test followup (simple 1 minute oil dip stick visual and number jotting on a form after hitting 1,200 miles on a fresh oil change) to no avail. Neither dealership was willing to help and eagerly passed the buck. Had grudgingly resolved on driving all the way back to Texas to restart the test, when I called Green Subaru as a last ditch effort to get help. Jared/Jarret, took my call and was amazingly eager to help and invited us in. We dropped in with our 2013 Crosstrek and enjoyed the shortest wait in the most amazing customer lobby I have ever seen. (Free popcorn, coffee, and even a soda fountain!) The car was seen and test completed in under 30 minutes and we were happily on our way back to Texas with updated results in hand. Thank you Jared/Jarret and Green Subaru for living up to the Subaru promise of Family, no matter where you are in the world.

I made an appointment to take care of an airbag recall (shards will fly out of the air bag if it deploys and I can’t turn the airbag off). When I called just to confirm my appointment (I live 2.5 hours away from Springfield and wanted to make sure the appointment was not delayed or anything) and they told me they did not have the part to fix my recall. I set my appointment at least a month in advance, so I’m not sure why they did not have it. They did still want me to come pay for full maintenance though, and they would schedule an appointment to fix the recall at their convenience. I canceled the appointment all together and just called a corporate office to find out what was going on, and why Green Subaru would schedule an appointment to fix a recall, but not order the supplies to fix the recall. The corporate office told me that Green did have the part, but since my appointment was canceled they could not fix the recall. And they could not fit me in any later in the day because they only do recalls before 10:00am. I would not have canceled my appointment if they didn’t tell me that they couldn’t fix the recall. Now I am left with a recalled airbag.. I only tried to come to Green Subaru in Springfield because when I went to get maintenance and a separate recall (undercoat issues) fixed in Peoria, they “changed my oil” but did not put any oil back in. I drove for quite awhile before realizing my engine had absolutely no oil in it (I should have checked, but I thought a dealership wouldn’t have any issues like that)...

Terrible. They lied about giving my car and oil change and when I was suspicious (no oil change date sticker) I called to confirm I had in fact received and oil change and was told yes. I was getting other maintenance done so they may have just forgotten. No big deal right? If they had been honest I would have then just made another appointment for an oil change.Fast forward a few months and I get a low oil warning on my car and when my boyfriend checks I am almost out and the oil filter is dated January. They definitely didn’t change my oil. I called back to get one scheduled- but also to speak to a manager and left 2 messages and was never called back. Worst customer service I’ve ever received. First a lie and now they’re ignoring the problem.Update: I see the response below. I did already call and leave a message on Pam’s voicemail 2 days ago and didn’t receive a call back. It shouldn’t take this much effort to make contact.Update number 2: I finally got a message from the manager saying I could come in for a free change. So I did and it was fine and they were nice. But then they said I needed a battery ($175) and I’m suspicious enough that I picked it up and took it elsewhere and got a new battery for $80. I don’t plan to go back.

I had a 2008 Forester (a great car) with about 110,000 miles in good condition. Several dash lights came on. The service dept. determined a new battery was needed. After replacement, the car driven home late afternoon. Next morning, the car was completely dead. Started by AAA and returned to the service dept. After a couple of days, no resolution. Rented a car from Enterprise.(No offer of a loaner). A week later, it was determined that several sensors were bad. They were replaced and the car declared ready. Drove about 1/2 mile and the car died n heavy traffic, Towed back by AAA. A week later it was determined that the alternator (replaced about 2 years ago) was defective. It was replaced and the car ran fine. I immediately traded the Forrester in for a Toyota. I had considered another Subaru but not from here.. Diagnostic errors, miscommunication, and misunderstanding. No relief from the Subaru General Manager.

The salesman was great to deal with but many of the policies at Green Subaru are terrible and out of touch with reality. Green expects the buyer to pay money immediately, but only allows a limited refund (and NOT immediately!) for overages due the buyer. I had a sub-par experience with my recent purchase/lease. If it wasnt for the fine salesman, I would have gone elsewhere.

So my situation is far from your average experience. I had bought a 2019 Impreza WRX STi brand new. I had window tint and all season tires put on it at the dealership. Originally when I first picked up my car every single rim was scratched along with most of the windows. I talked to the service department manager and told them what happened. They told me they would make it right which they ended up doing. Nonetheless it kind of sucks buying a car that over $40,000 and the service department damaging the rims. They ended up replacing all the rims and windows that were scratched so in the end they did make it right. Just be worry of your cars condition before and after taking it in for work. If they damage it they will make it right. I wish I could leave more than one star but that is hard to do when they couldve just taken their time to do the job right. Its such a bummer that a certified dealership did this to my car in the first place but they did fix their mistakes in the end.

Amazing Car Buying Experience - Be sure to ask for Kenny Morstatter! Our current Subaru has 232,000 miles on it so we decided its time to buy a newer one so we can keep driving this one! This is our third Outback so we knew what we wanted!From our first phone call with Green Subaru, we were impressed with their low pressure, straight forward approach. We felt lucky that we got Kenny as our salesman because he was incredibly knowledgeable about Subarus and helped guide us to the best decision for us.We drove 1 1/2 hours to the dealership and explained up front that we were limited on time. He understood that we were busy so when we arrived, he had pulled the four best choices for what we had told him we were looking for. He shared the pros and cons of each one and showed us cars that were $10,000 apart in price but in no way tried to push us one way or the other.The pricing was fair and the entire sales process was easy. The GM Nadim and the Business Manager Ryan were both amazing to work with and we did not feel any of the typical pressure you imagine in the car buying process.Kenny was so patient with all our questions and made us feel like we were his most important customer. We left feeling like we had made a new friend and will definitely be returning to do business with Green Subaru again because of our experience with Kenny!

First once you buy the car your done. I had stains on my new 2018 Subaru Forrester. Took 3 times to get it cleaned. My Sirius radio free trial quit at 3 months.Todd who sold my car didnt get me fixed. Tried on my own Siruis they didnt understand why it wasnt working nor fixed it. Im been sitting here for a simple oil change for over an hour..I checked 5 minutes ago only to be told 10 minutes more. I wish I never had changed from my Chevy Volt to Subaru. I am NOT HAPPY with this place..I will again shopping again for Chevy..This is ridiculous! Be careful!!
