I had a woman hit my truck with her car door and leave quite a dent and paint damage. I was worried about them being able to match up the paint because my truck sits outside. No worries there! They not only were able to match it up perfectly, but you cant even tell where the dent was. The guys in the shop did an excellent job. There was a guy waiting to take me to get a rental car and the work was done when promised. I would absolutely go back again and recommend them to family and friends. Thank you Thompson body shop for a job well done.

It took them 5 attempts to repair my vehicle to a satisfactory level. I was out 2 days of vacation time by the time it was all said and done. It wasnt even fixed properly the final time, but I said the heck with it. Be careful, they will sell shoddy work, especially if you dont know what you are looking for.

Wow, I just read the review from last week, sounds very familiar.So heres MY story. I chose Thompsons Body Shop for a repair on my bumper and quarter panel.I dropped my car off on a Monday with the understanding itd be a couple days. Before I left, it was said end of day Wednesday. No problem. I did get a phone call Wednesday afternoon that it was finished. Great!When I showed up, I was admiring the repair job only to find new damage on the car. They called for the guy who originally helped me, and after a few minutes of looking, touching, and fetching his camera, he finally conclude that he believed they did the damage. Ok, Im ok at this point. When he went inside briefly, I did notice a piece of trim that wasnt popped into the correct place and so I pushed on it a little and put it back in. No big deal, but a little careless.I told him I didnt know what was the best thing to do moving forward. I had borrowed a friends car for a couple days and it would really be hard to ask for an extension on that favor, so I didnt want to leave it, but I felt weird to pay for an unfinished job and also could empathize with them being in a bad place if I took the car without paying. He assured me that it would absolutely get fixed but Id need to pay, so I did. That was Wednesday, and he said they were booked Thursday but if I came back Friday, theyd get it done. I emphasized that I had to have it by 3:00 Friday afternoon if we did this. He assured me that was no problem. As I left, my turn signal was not working. I pulled back in, and they fixed the wiring harness, so it operated fine. Again, not a big deal, but thats careless, and at this point, I no longer feel good about giving 5 stars.Thursday afternoon, I called and left a voicemail on his cell phone double checking whether the car could still get in tomorrow (Friday) and be done by 3:00, and also if they had any cars they could loan me for the day. He called back and left a message that he guaranteed the car would be done by 3:00 but that they didnt have any vehicles for me. I was a little disappointed that out of a whole lot of cars, they couldnt manage to help someone in a circumstance that they caused, but Im not a squeaky wheel, and I accepted the answer.I showed up Friday morning at 8:00 and was told that they were expecting me Monday, the painter wasnt expecting me until Monday. They had 4 or 5 jobs ahead of me and they just didnt believe that theyd be finished by 3:00 if I left it that day. I said Id much rather come back Monday than take that chance, so we agreed to Monday. (Now mind you, I forgot that I still had the voicemail where the other guy said tomorrow as in Friday very plainly.)Monday, I stop in about 10:00 and reminded them who I was the guy from the Friday appointment. The lady, I presume from the previous post, said the appointment was for Monday, and I said Id be willing to debate _________ about the subject. Again, I would have played the voicemail had I remembered I had it. I still have it. Come to think of it, I dont think I ever actually received an apology regarding any of this. I dont...remember anyone accepting responsibility really other than just fixing it and not billing me. I sat there that morning waiting for a ride from a friend and at 10:45 I overhear someone calling a different department to give someone a ride home. When they got off the phone, I asked if they gave complimentary rides to customers. He replied, Oh I thought you were waiting on a ride. I said I was, but no one ever offered to give me any rides (through all of my talk about needing loaner vehicles, etc.)The driver took another 30 minutes to come get me and it was only after the guy called again. He clearly had forgotten me. Overall, bad experience. I have another repair to do, but I wont be going back here. And, to add, I didnt appreciate how they talked about customers after they left the office. I could tell customer bashing was commonplace in that office.

I hate to write a bad review but it looks like Thompsons Auto Body Shop needs to clean out house with the ladies in the office. They had scheduled me on a Monday to bring in my car in after I had rented a vehicle and gave them a courtesy call to let them know that I was bringing my car to them as scheduled. The lady in the office said it was the following Monday which was a lie. She said I would never schedule if the parts arent in. Pretty much called me a lair until I drove up there and played the voice call to her and manager. She then changed her story and said the lady that schedule it was at fault.I decided to give them a second chance they had scheduled me the following Monday. I called my insurance adjuster to let them know it was going to be Monday and to get me a rental car the insurance company told me they had it down for Tuesday they try to call and verify the date but Thompsons wouldnt answer the phone. I called Thompsons to see what was going on they answered and told me oh the lady must have messed up but its okay!To me that is bad business its sloppy, no communication, and the front reception lady was rude about it.Top it off they didnt even give me a copy of the estimate.

I took my car in on a Friday to get an estimate. They said their computers were down, but they took pics and would send me an email on Monday or Tuesday. I waited til the following Friday and went back in and spoke to the receptionist, she again told me that the computers had been down and they were going in order and the estimate would be no later than Monday or Tuesday the following week. I called Wednesday and spoke with the receptionist and after being put on hold several times they then told me that I needed my insurance company to send something over to them before they could even write the estimate. This is something that NOT ONE PERSON said anything about the 2 times I was there previously. The person who took the pictures and the receptionist told me I would receive my estimate via email and I waited a week and a half just to be told they could not do it without further info from my insurance company which would have been no problem at all to get had someone mentioned it at any of the other previous conversations I had with them! The receptionist is rude and I will not be going there again! I will be taking my Tahoe somewhere else to get the damages fixed!
