Who is doing the pricing on the furniture and anything considered vintage??? They are seriously way over pricing and dont want to actually sell these items. I thought St. Vincent de Paul was created to help families. If any donated clothing has a name brand or is remotely considered vintage its grossly overpriced. You are better off shopping at Ross or TJ MAXX, if shopping for name brand.Ive never been to a thrift shop where they charge $900 for a stained couch and $150 for chairs you couldnt give away. Its sad what has happened to this place.

Big stores with high ceilings. They have rearranged the racks for social distancing. Some stuff cheap, some stuff with high prices. You find that at all the thrift stores. They have a drive up drop off for donated items. Staff has awaits been friendly and greet me coming in. Most of the housewares aisles are neat and kept up. Easy to shop.

This St. Vinnies is always pleasant, the staff are friendly and the ladies at the check out usually have great small talk and funny stuff to say. I’ve found some amazing fresh AF Jordans here, some awesome Volcom shirts, and lots of tools to fill out my collection! Definitely cheaper than a lot of places and often there’s a hidden gem which you buy and feel guilty for the amount of savings you were given, but that’s just one of those beautiful little parts of life. Thanks SVDP!

Everything is way over priced! I know you are a charity but people with little money shop at thrift stores and need something thrifty. You have prices for USED items priced as much as you could buy them new.Once in awhile Ill swing by St.Vinnys and look around then I remember why I stopped shopping there.Shame on you for charging so much for items that you got for FREE. How do you sleep at night knowing how you do bad business?

Overpriced just like the other St. Vincents around town. I still give 3 stars though, because it is possible to find a good deal if you shop for things that are 25% or 50% off. They have color coded tags and the sales change weekly.

Some things that dont have set prices are stuuuuuuupidly priced. A bag of gardening rocks with no sticker and the employee that helped me today tried to charge me $6.99. When I balked at the price, I was told that theyre normally $9.99. I can buy a bag at a garden store for that price. She also told me a military discount could not be applied because we didnt declare it in advance, prior to ringing up. Will not be shopping at this location for some time.

I have been donating items large and small recently and have found St. Vincent de Paul to be very picky about what they will take. I am dropping off good stuff. I am being told that their customers will steal parts off items or they might not be able to sell a piece. The items are being dropped off for free so even if they sold it for a dollar they made a profit. I saw an item they did take and it was price as high as if it were new. I always thought these organization where meant to help the less fortunate. I went to Good Will and they take everything I have dropped off.

So I understand covid19 is a thing. I barely get out. Needed some items so I figured Id support St. Vincent de Paul. Probably never again tbh. So you no longer allow back packs in your store but will allow every lady to walk in with her purse and every person to walk in in his contaminated clothes. But I cant bring my shopping bag. All good. Im sure as a company you dont care about my business. Ill just make sure I take it everywhere else. I literally spent over 1k there last year. Never again.

I really enjoyed my time shopping at this St. Vincent today. It was relaxing. I found several items. This store has a large inventory inside and outside the store. The cashier was extremely helpful & nice and I Love the tag discounts. I found a Tommy Hilfiger bathrobe which is heavenly soft with a 50% discount tag. I ended up paying only $6 for a great bathrobe. I had fun. If you enjoy secondhand shopping like I do check it out.

Great staff but highly overpricedI used to love going in to find bargains. Add a single mom we relied on being able to get what we need and not worry about overcrowding. Now prices are barely lower than retail. There is rarely a bargain to be found now. Staff are great though and if they dont have what you need they dont mind calling a few of the other stores to help locate it

Prices are too high. $15 for a 20 year old DVD player, $50 for used roller blades. Rusted out electronic kid toys $5. Leather chair $300- $400. Bunk bed $800. Twin raised bed over play area $3000. They would also rather throw away a booster seat with buckles than give it to an interested buyer. Whomever sets prices at this store offends all their customers. One started talking to me out of frustration, and a couple of others were talking with my wife about it. If the prices arent lowered to a reasonable level, you will be out of business.

Its the people that make this location so pleasant to shop at. Todays example: Clerk BJ so kindly and compassionately helped an elderly lady in the store, taking the time needed to make sure she was okay and doing well before handing off to a colleague. I always drive a little further down the road to donate here as opposed to Goodwill, as I feel they do better for the community.I have taken at least 15 loads of stuff in the past few months, as we are moving.Today I pulled up behind a guy facing the wrong way in the donation line and a woman comes running out, yelling at me I need to follow the arrow next time and I was wrong. Totally losing her mind over something so small.Next time I’ll take my stuff to Goodwill.

Prefer St. Vincent hands down to Goodwill. Donation sales profits are giving to social programs of St. Vincent. Goodwill only gives 1% to families they serve, while their CEO is paid over a million dollars a year and pays employees minimum wages.

I must say I was absolutely very unhappy with this place. First, it was my first time even walking into this place, second, the prices for the items were ridiculous for something I could have bought brand new. Third, they were extremely rude when my husband and I walked in with our SERVICE DOG! YES A CERTIFIED SERVICE DOG!!!!! I have never been to such an unfriendly environment, and can’t say I’ll ever go back. He’ll my son’s school was more welcoming of our dog than this place.

I do not recommend shopping at this chain, They dont let you check to see if anything works, like tools, electronics, etc... Also they price gouge like crazy... They get a one because after donating 3 loads of household goods cleared out of an abandoned rental i show up with the 4th and last load and this woman comes out and starts rudely rejecting the very same sort of items i dropped off in the 1st 3 loads. I took my donations up the road to Goodwill where they accepted everything she rejected and thanked me kindly for it.

I think these guys must be victims of the whole picker fad. I went in and saw things priced just unbelievably high so out of curiosity I checked out eBay, yup, anything that may possibly be of any value is priced at eBay prices. Only thing is, they arent looking at what has sold, they are looking at what people are asking. Also they arent checking details. Just because a 1920 Raggedy Ann doll sold for 2k, doesnt mean that a 1994 hasbro raggedy ann has the same value. Didnt buy much but I was quite amused so it was worth the trip!Other than that, the employees were nice, and the store wasnt a total disaster so I gave them an extra star. Guess Im feeling generous today.....

Decent prices, and the selection is pretty huge. Got lucky and found a dining table and cute lamp marked down to 50%. The manager here (woman, Caucasian, mid-thirties) however is very rude and unprofessional. We noticed she treated an employee with disrespect and scolded her because we wanted to know if a ring display was for sale. The employee was very friendly and was only doing her job by asking on behalf of us (the customers) whether or not she would be able to sell it. All we needed to hear was a simple no, I apologize we dont sell display items in the cases by the owners request or something similar. Instead she gave us a rude NO and proceeded to yell at her employee WHILE WE WERE STILL STANDING THERE. It made us feel bad for the employee. Maybe the owners or whoever is above the management will realize this kind of behavior is the WRONG way of doing business and get the woman fired so the employee can then be given her job and end up showing her how the job is supposed to be done.
