I have recently started sending my print work to Darin. We had 1000s of tri-fold marketing material, business cards and 70 tall banners printed for a start up catering company and he exceeded our expectations. Everything has been ready when promised. Darins staff has been very helpful with design and layout issues especially on the banners where I really had no idea what I was doing.

I emailed earlier for a quote on various files that I needed printed as business cards, greetings cards and stickers. I received a phone call a little while later and was told that the quantities I had requested were too minimal to take on the order because it would take up the machines for too long. I was also told that the quote would take half the afternoon to write up. When I asked what quantities I needed to order so that I could get a quote and potentially place an order I was told that maybe a quick print place or a home printer would probably be more suitable for me. I had done some printing with this location previously and had a great experience. The phone call, to me, lacked customer service and care that I had originally received and left a bad taste in my mouth so now I’m left with finding a new company to do my printing with.

I was prepared to handwrite and hand cut my project out. I had unusually sized cardstock (6 x 12) and had been told no by a couple of other places. I was referred to these guys by office depot. What a wonderful experience. I spoke with Darin and he told me to drop by so he could get an idea of what I was trying to do. He understood what I needed and it was uphill from there. Kristina called me to let me know the proof was in my inbox. I reviewed it, approved it and it was done the next day. I can not thank them enough for what this means to me. Darin has handled all of my printing for the last 4 years but today that ended. I requested via email 30, 18 x 24 posters, he printed them 18 x 36 because they were that size on the PDF. My corporate marketing department created the PDF to be printed, I cant not tell what size it is on a computer. If I was a professional printer I would have simply called my customer and stated if you want them 18 x 24 please re-send the PDF in that size, not very hard. I was shocked when he told me take them the way there are or forget it all together. The funny thing is this poster was for a toy drive for homeless children staying in a mission in Cypress and I needed to get this distributed this weekend. Now I have to find someone to print them the correct size so they fit on the boxes for the toy drive at the last minute. Pretty Sad!
