Tony and Marvin have been customer service representatives at our neighborhood UPS location since my first visit. During the pandemic things could not have been more challenging for the men. What were normal procedures and policies that were explained to them from the beginning of their careers suddenly overnight became yesterdays news. There efforts together showed more teamwork and tenacity than I have seen in a long time. Outstanding team oriented beliefs are what UPS can always expect from this dynamic duos customer service.

Your website says youre open until 7pm. I am here at 6:15pm and youre definitely closed. If your hours are different due to covid--or whatever--post them for your customers! What a waste of my time!

Amazon clearly says if you go to this place you should not be charged to ship your package. Somehow they always want to rip customer off with $1 charge.

I went to drop off a box on March 28 around 2:00 p.m. There were three people waiting to get in. The store was locked. I thought everyone was honoring the social distancing rule so I got in line, and saw the clerk unlock the door and open the interior gate around the counter. There were 5 people waiting by then. I dropped off my package and left. The clerk was friendly enough. I went back at 3:00 with an additional package and the store was locked. Again. They were supposed to be open until 4:00. What gives?

Returned an Amazon order, and I was charged $3 to print the label. I’ve returned several items and printed labels, the most I’ve gotten charged is .75 centsIt wasn’t the ridiculous amount that I was charged that upset me, Marvin (the employee) was so rude about everything. Please improve costumer service

I go here because its easy to get to. Also, its right down the street from my house. If you have mail that you need to send to someone, go to the post office, its cheaper. I spent $9 and some change more at the UPS store. I sent mail to my kid who is now staying at a dorm room at his college. This mail was important and I wasnt sure if I could make it to my neighborhood post office in time. I know the people at this UPS store, theyre pretty cool. It depends on your needs and your pocket book.

This store closed at least an hour earlier than posted hours online and on store doors. No notice, just showed up and they were already closed. Will not make the drive to this particular location again since we cant rely on their posted hours for service.

I sent a package to Portland and paid extra for 3 day shipping. It never arrived as of today(sunday)I tried the tracking number provided and it shows invalid, so, I have no idea where my package . This was a gift of homemade Blueberry preserves and Persimmon jam and isnt meant to sit in limbo. The counter person was more interested in talking on his cell phone than helping me and the other 2 costomers in line. AVOID THIS ONE ! Go somewhere else !Steve M

They have no idea of what costumer service is an they are very rude and they like to find ways around the ups store rules so that they can say that they cant give you a refund even though they know they are supposed to check that what you are sending is going to go through customs even though they make the mistake they put the wrong information on the paperwork even after my husband told him what was in the box yet they want to act like its not their fault we pretty much paid for the package to travel down to Mexico and come back We were sending vitamins for my mother that has cancer and now we have to wait until the package gets here pay for it again through a different company to get sent down to Mexico for her so now she has to wait even more time to receive the package this is so upsetting but now I know not to use this ups store again an I will not be recommending this store to anyone that I know. So unprofessional.

So this place is ok.The staff is ok. One guy is always on his phone and the other guy is always on the computer in the back. Even if there is a long line that guy on the computer will not get up to help the line.

If I could give this place is zero I would. A negative 2 if it were possible. The lack of customer service and knowledge is incredibly disappointing. You have a lot of UPS choices in San Diego dont make this place one of them. Actually heres a tip... The UPS off of avocado and the 94 in the shopping mall with the Smart and Final/Starbucks/24 hour fitness etc. is a 5 star UPS and theyre less than 10 minutes away. Make the trek. Its worth it!!

During my visit today I experienced the rudest service from Tony. When I asked if he would please e-mail and print a label for me, he said dont you know how to send an e-mail from your phone? Yes I do, I replied but the other gentlemen always does it for me. He shook his head and said heres the e-mail address then proceeded to call his house to take care of a personal matter. He remained on the phone with (I believe his wife) the entire time.

The delivery guy is very lazy!! He left my package right in front of my door after realizing no one was home. This would of been ok if i didnt live in a complex! Who the hell puts a package in front of the door, surrounded with more apartments and not expecting it to get stolen??? Should of just put a slip and came back the next day. The man on the desk however, seemed to help by giving a number to report it but still have not heard from them after reporting. Poor workers. Very very disappointed.

This place is a rip-off!! Derek assured me my paperwork will arrive that Saturday if I were to pay an extra fee which came out to $58.55. Due to deadlines, I went ahead and paid for shipment only find out my package arrived late! Never again on a scale of 1 to 10, theyre a 0 👎👎

The parking is terrible. They charge almost 50% more for regular shipping than going online and printing it yourself. No Kiosks for creating your own shipping label. Theres always a wait for customer service. There are never any forms or free UPS supplies available in front of the counter (in the customer waiting area). No Dollies or carts for bringing in a couple of boxes. Oh and did I mention they charge too much?

We went the UPS store to scan a art sheet to email unfortunately I don´t have a scanner. I usually use the UPS store and Clairemont and never have any issues. When we arrived we had to wait more than 20 minutes according to David at the store he had to reboot the system but both of them (David & Andy) didnt really seem to know much about how anything was supposed to work. Finally when they said it was done and comes the time to pay David says $7.00!! 7.00 for one Black & White scan of a Letter size sent to a email, not even anything printed?? Its sad the place had computers from the nineties when they charge a fortune for that kind of small service.Then obviously I said I wouldnt pay that crazy expensive amount for a scan if he just mentioned before, and he answers: Bro... then everything goes sideways, Im a customer and the person that is supposed to attend me is calling me bro as if we were in the street hanging out? He says no way Im getting my money back and very cynically says that I didnt even pay for it, that was my girlfriend!! Not a single amount of respect or education or even costumer service training... And he had the nerve to warn me about my language!!? I try to speak to Andy the other guy there, He says that hes the person in charge and he invites me to leave the store with a very cynical smile and total lack of respect again and threatens to call the police!!?? I say, ok, call the police. Then and after me getting very nasty and being completely disrespected their only argument was that the job was done and no money back that I can come tomorrow and talk to the owner... After all of this when I get home I hadnt receive any email from UPS or them, so they hadn´t done the job correctly. I got delayed in my delivery and I had to spend gas going to another place and paying again. Im coming to get my money back and talk to the owner about all of this, I dont want anybody else to have to suffer this kind of aggravation and completely unprofessional service. I would put 0 stars to this place, Andy and specially to David but seems like Google is more generous than me.

Horrible. I returned items to company and when they received package it was stamped unsealed with no contents I am out 300 dollars! Plus the cost to ship it! I would rather drive downtown to postal annex where I know this would never happen. Oh I had to add a star to post.

7/3/19 I went here because I had amazon returns and took in a care package to ship to my son in the military. The woman I worked with was rude and annoyed that she had to help me ship 1 box. I will never go here again and at the very least will recommend any other UPS store than this one. RS

Very bad service. They put the wrong address you have to be very attentive to the information they put in the shipment. Then the cashier goes back and leaves you standing there without telling you anything. Very bad service.
