I am absolutely baffled by the rave reviews. The sheer level of unprofessionalism at every level from lack of communication, to complete disorganization, to little respect for the customer was staggering. AZ Tile recommended, so we trusted that referral, but right off the bat there were red flags, which we unfortunately ignored. Even the guys who actually did the work seemed embarrassed by their bosss behavior, and the people at the granite workshop said Hector is always screwing things up.He sent people to do demo without even consulting with us on a date/ time. Forgot to inform his workers on the full scope of the project, so they didnt know multiple rooms were involved. When a mirror broke during demo, and Hector forgot they were supposed to replace it. My husband had to call repeatedly for weeks to get him to follow through. We also told him we wanted leftover granite, and he said the workers would bring it with the mirror. But he forgot (forgot?) to tell them when they did finally come after 2 weeks and multiple no shows. Then he promised to bring it and would call to arrange it. 2 more weeks passed and my husband had to track him down AGAIN. Hector actually told my husband he would not bring us our granite (our own property, which we had bought and paid for), until he had other deliveries to make nearby. We live in Chula Vista. Its not that far. Seriously? After everything he put us through for almost 6 weeks, hes going to hold our property hostage?My husband got the address and went to get it himself with 3 friends before who knows what might happened to it. And not even one offer of compensation for all the trouble or even a verbal apology. I dont know how to account for the positive reviews. We will never ever use this guy again and warn everyone we know about it as well.
