This was my first visit to this Trek store. My usual store is in Allen, TX (#1704) where the service and atmosphere is always outstanding ... I usually deal with Billy Bob & Barney. Those men have been trying to get me a new bike for months ... a black, large, Verve+ 3, Lowstep ... and finally found this one in the Southlake store. I was very reluctant to buy at a store other that the Allen store because those men had spent so much time and effort to get me that specific bike, but both assured me that would be fine and that they would deliver the same service and assistance regardless of where I bought the bike! They said their first goal was to get me on that bike as soon as possible to avoid what appears to be a very long wait time (almost a year) away. Now THAT is great customer service!!!!Even though this visit was the first at the Southlake store I was greeted and treated to the same kind of friendly service as Im accustomed to at the Allen store. I had talked to Jack the day before to confirm they had the bike and he reserved the bike for me to see the next day. When I got to the store I talked primarily with Maria (sales) & Jimmy (service), both of whom were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. And … this great service was freely given with their knowledge that I was (and would likely continue to be) a regular customer at the Allen store.I know this was a question about your Southlake store, but the best way I could describe my good experience is to describe their service by comparing it with the outstanding service at Allen. Said differently, I would unhesitatingly refer anyone to visit either store for what I believe to be an outstanding experience!

I was helped immediately upon arriving in the store, and quickly educated about which size helmet I would need based on my actual measurements. I’ve been going to this bike shop for 3 years. They not only do great work, but they are honest and go above and beyond to help out with whatever they can. Full disclosure, I drive past 3 bike shops to get to this one. That is how awesome they are.

This is our first Trek Bike. My son is so excited! I talked to Brent before heading at the store and answered my questions. He was very polite and nice. When we got to the store Brent was busy so Eddie helped us. Eddie had my son tried the bike to make sure it’s fit for him. Eddie was very kind and give us outstanding service! Brent also helped in the end too. You all are awesome! Even though I had to drive almost 50mins drive—totally worth it!Thank you so much!

Phenomenol customer service. The manager (I wish I could remember his name - is it Steve?) went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I ended up buying an item I would have normally passed on, just because he was so helpful. Good quality product and the kind of customer service you cannot get in one of the big box or chain stores.

Although the ownership and name has changed from Bicycles, Inc. to Trek Bicycle, nothing has changed regarding the employees. Most, if not all of the incredible crew is still there, and twice now since the change I have experienced the same excellent customer service and workmanship as before. This will remain our bike shop for sure because it is the people that make the experience, not the name on the building. And lets be honest...the name isnt bad either! 😉

I decided that I needed to try bicycling to motivate me to exercise. I had a bike when I was a kid 50+ years ago and knew little about bikes. The staff (Nick) was friendly and attentive as all my questions were answered making me feel confident about my purchase. They went out of their way to help me get my new purchase delivered to my house the same day. The bike feels comfortable and sturdy. I would recommend their products and services to anyone. 10 Stars!!!!Kudos!!!!

Went in to get a new rack for my old bike. The sales person asked if I had a picture of the bike so he could get me the right equipment. I did and he did.The rack fit and looks great.

Came here thinking my bike needed one kind of service, bike mechanics explained I probably needed a different less expensive service! Appreciate their honesty and were willing to work with me on buying small parts so I could do some of my own bike work at home.Stop by here anytime Im in Southlake and need bike work. SOOOOO RUDE! I was told my clips were the correct ones for my bike. When I tried to clip in they were incorrect. I drove back the following day to a extremely nasty associate who said I can only get store credit? Do not go here unless you want to lose money and talked down to!!

He was able to find me the bike I wanted, particularly at a time when stocks are so low.The bike is perfectly set up and rides like a dream. I expect to be a future customer - I wanted to get a Ebike with a Bosh motor and visited this store. Had a very detailed and enlightening conversation with one of the Bike Engineers. Took a test ride. Left and came back after thinking about it overnight to buy the bike I test rode.I can only say - Scott - helped me clearly understand what I expected from the bike I was about to spend over 2500 dollars.I wanted to thank Scott - in this open letter, for being a honest, straight forward Gentleman. He expanded my knowledge, after listening to my needs and when we explored the options - I chose to wait and get the bike he recommended. Unfortunately, it will not ship till January of 2021.In any case - if you are looking for advise, no pressure sales help, honest opinions and knowledgeable responses this is the store I would recommend.

I am a new customer to the Southlake store but I am a longtime cyclist with a ton of experience building and maintaining my own bikes. I typically only go to local shops when i have very complex problems or need advice. This is a shop I would highly recommend for a few reasons--1.) they want / know how to help you. 2.) they carry great cycling brands (Santa Cruz, Specialized, etc). 3.) Techs are knowledgeable and will fix it right the first time. Its great to see shops like this doing well, support them when you have the chance so that the sport of cycling keeps rolling esp locally here in DFW!!

If I could give it less than one star, I would. Every time I’ve been in this place the staff has been rude. The last time was about 3 weeks ago. I walked in and some hipster/Anderson Cooper looking guy that thinks he is much younger than he is looked at me as if I walked in his private residence toting a gun and said “what’s up”. This IS still America, right? Do I need to ring some bell or knock before coming into you BUSINESS?! I’ll never buy a thing from this place. Not even so much as Co2. They have Anderson Cooper wanna be to thank for it.

My review is specifically about the Southlake location and I will single out Austin in particular.Austin told me something he couldnt deliver and based upon what he told me, I took my surly single gear (which I explained I needed asap because I was leaving for the summer) out of the queue at the Hurst shop and brought it to Southlake. He said they could switch out the handlebars from straight to the previous drop, single gear, with brakes. Apparently he doesnt know what hes doing. Because it involved a cable.He said they could do it quickly. When I called, they said two weeks. I called on the day Hurst wouldve had it completed.The worst part was Austin or anyone else didnt bother to call me and tell me I was at the end of the queue. Theres no excuse for poor service and complete lack of communication.It was unprofessional, showed a lack of common courtesy and Ill never go there again. Im not even mentioning the lack of coordination in the line during the initial covid situation. I had to wait for a simple question while they fit other people for a bike. A simple question. 45 minutes.I rate them zero.zero

Took my bike in today for simple repairs. They tried to fix it on the spot, but determined it would need parts. They are about 3 weeks behind in repairs, but considering 3 other bike places couldnt even take my bike because they are so backed up, I was ok with this. They seem very knowledgeable and fair.

First Class Service!! My husband and I both purchased brand new bikes before a camping trip this weekend but were unable to come get them because of work. I called and the salesman I spoke to was amazing!! I let him know my father in law was coming to pick them up and he had everything ready when he got there. Bikes and accessories are top notch!! Will most definitely recommend to anyone who is in the market and we will be forever customers!!!

First of all they never have anything in stock. Especially if you need anything for BMX. Literally nothing. Secondly the staff has no clue about anything concerning anything related to bicycles. I just watched a salesperson try to order a 24-in bicycle for a six-year-old... Because hes literally clueless and so was the customer who walked in.And if you decide to bite the bullet and go to bicycles Inc anyway, you better be well versed in exactly what you need because do not rely on somebody to actually greet you and welcome you into the store. Joni Jackie expect anyone to converse with you and ask how they can help you or what it is that youre looking for.I would love to say that its just this location that the other locations have their act together but unless youre riding a $10,000 road bike, they dont have time for you nor do they want your business.Even if they dont have anything in stock which they do not, they could at least have the common courtesy to save you 30 minutes of walking around aimlessly in their stores by saying a simple phrase like: hello how can we help you today?In over 20 years of sales and retail management experience, and a good 40-plus years of BMX experience I can tell you unequivocally that if I was a manager of one of these locations there wouldnt be an employee ever on the clock that didnt think that customer service wasnt the primary function of their employment.

We purchased two inner tubes for my bike. The first tube blew out when airing up and they would not exchange for another tube. We will definitely take our business to another bike shop. This is not our first negative experience with bicycles Inc., but it will be our last.

Jack ordered a new crank and bottom bracket for my epic. When it arrived we scheduled a time for the install. Dropped off and picked up in the same day. Pretty unheard of right now at a LBS. Went trail riding today and everything works perfectly.

Purchased my bike from the Southlake location and am really happy with it so far. Brought it in after a month just to have it looked over, and the guys tightened everything up super fast. All around solid experience.

Outstanding focus on keeping your bike working!

Brought bike in for a tune up and new tire. Jimmy noticed the bike needed some cable work too. I told him we rarely take these off road anymore and to try and make things work the best he can without costing an arm and leg. He did a good job and saved me money on top of that!

Purchased a Specialized hybrid bike over the phone with Austin at Bicycles Inc in Southlake. Great buying experience, Austin was patient and answered all my questions. This was actually the second bike I have purchased from the Southlake store and will definitely do business here again.

Why anyone would shop here is beyond me. The accessory prices are twice the cost online and 50% higher than other shops. E.g.: CONTINENTAL Grand Prix 5000 Tire - Clincher ($45 online, $65 down the street, $95 at Bicycles Inc.). Please shop around before buying anything from this location.

I bought my bike from here about a year ago, and I have to say they give the best service here. In fact the best from any bike shop I have been to. Not only did I get a great deal, Dave found the exact bike I wanted I couldnt find online in one of their warehouses. They received it and built it for me in the same day. Now that I have rode the bike for a year putting hundreds of miles on it. I have had them do some normal maintenance all done at this shop. I am a DIY kind of person and tried to adjust some things myself. Long story short, I had trouble with something and I thought it was because I was rough on my bike. Once again the guys at bike inc came to the rescue and it cost me nothing. I am sad to say that I am going to have to find a new bike shop since I am moving far away but yet again Dave helped me out with a bike box. This shop has bent over backwards other times too with defects on some parts(they had no control over...) where most bike shops would have probably charged me they were able to warrantied it out for me. Great Place, Great People, Great selection.

This is my favorite go to for bicycles. They are knowledgeable, have a very strong repair and maintenance staff. Their sales people are no pressure and help you find and fit the bike or adult trike that works for you.

I took my bike in to get a flat tire fixed. They did a great job. Not only did he fix the tire but he noticed I needed a lube on my chain and cables. He fixed me up in about 10 min! Great job. I also bought a pair of clip in peddles while I was there. They installed those too. Fantastic place to go if you are in need of anything for biking.

Great shop. Stopped in to get a crown race for a triathlon build. They were nice enough to not only take the time to go through about 10 different headsets to find the right crown race, but they only charged me for the crown race instead of selling me an entire headset and they installed it on my fork for free. Jose Galvan, the service manager, obviously knows his stuff. Highly recommended. Very impressed. Not my first good experience with them either. They also sold me a replacement bearing for a headset last year. Same thing, top shelf service and knowledge. Would trust these guys with my bike.

Dave, Scott, and Rick are all good guys. Very helpful and really go out of their way to assist repeat, loyal customers. It gets busy at times, but it’s worth being patient with them getting around to help you. Buying a bike is not a run in and out ordeal so it takes time for the staff to find the right bike and size, which this shop knows!

I brought in a bike that Id crashed on after hitting some mud after a good rain last year. The wheels were bent, the brakes needed adjusting, and it needed a good look over to make sure everything was nice and ride-worthy. Nothing major, but it still needed some adjusting here and there.The guys there were great. They didnt try to up-sale me on the more expensive level of repair, and were very friendly and answered a few questions I had regarding a bike trailer Id gotten for my daughter even though Id bought it from another vendor.I brought my bike in on a Sunday afternoon, and they told me it should be done by or before Thursday. They called me the next morning to let me know theyd finished, so they finished it up in less than in a day.Id definitely recommend the place to anyone in the market for a new bike, or needing a repair on one they already have.

Great shop and personnel! I came in near Veterans Day with a gear shifter that was chattering on 2 speeds. They took about 15-20 minutes of hard work and 2 men and solved the issue. Then they really blessed me with no charge for the service and thanked me for my service to the country!Simply awesome!This was especially a blessing as Ive recently been diagnosed with a terminal disease and keeping up the riding is critical for my lungs staying strong.Thank you all so much!

After a so called tuneup $160 Plus chain I don’t think they did a tuneup since none of my gears work now but did when I brought it in and it was on the exact gear I had it on now no gears work on the lower and they forget to give me my bags back?Maybe because it was not done! It’s pretty obvious I got burned one star for my husband Who was happy!Guess I will spend more money to have it repaired somewhere else to fix the new problem they now gave me!glad he was happy since it was $500dollars Get it together became your losing happy customers !

Wow!! I will never go to another bike shop. This place is unbelievably awesome -- as opposed to the national chain with a bike shop in it down the road that I made the mistake of using previously.Understand that I am a bicyclist the way a kid with an Easy Bake oven is a cook. I dont know what Im doing and Im ripe for being taken advantage of.So first what happened at the other place, so you can understand how great this place is: I took my wifes bike into the other one. It had been sitting around and needed obvious attention. Rather than helping me find the cheapest solution -- they up-sold me and talked me into the most expensive option they had. So long story short, after my discount I walked out over $300.00 poorer and had to wait several days for the bike.Now to my experience with Bicycles Inc: When I got my new bike from an online vendor, I found that it needed some adjustments. Since the only word I know in the world of bicycle repair is tune-up, I walked in with my bike, went up to the service counter and told them that my bike was not shifting properly and that I needed a tune-up. The gentleman looked at my bike, and rather than just saying okay, he told me that all I needed was an adjustment to my derailers. He also told me that he could do it while I wait.When I was done shopping for a helmet -- something that they also did not up-sell me on -- the man at service told me that I only needed an adjustment on the front one. The bill for the adjustment was only $15.00!!I could say several other great things about this place, but the short version is this: They are very honest, patient, and helpful.I highly recommend them, and especially Service Manager Jose Galvan, the one in service that helped me and did not take advantage of my lack of knowledge.

Recent hardware installation on my gravel bike, estimated to take a day, done in less than two hours. Followed up with a fitting and adjustment that got me set up perfectly. Glad to support a local retailer who cares about the biking community and their customers.
