Strongly recommend the South Salt Lake Grainer. It was the only store I could find with Mass Airflow Sensor Cleaner in stock--including all of the many auto parts stores near me. Call ahead and if they say they have it, they have it--and the gentleman who helped me not only did his job well, but his customer service was off the charts great. Friendly conversation and a terrific experience.

Folks here are more concerned with acquiring your data (name, phone, email, address) than sourcing the parts you need.It is a frustrating experience to have repeated requests for my information rather than checking availability for components I requested.

Dean helped me out today and turned what started out as a bad situation into a good one. I had some difficulty using Grainger online and was shipped the wrong product because the website showed an incorrect picture. I was kind of irritated because I had to pay $10 for the shipping and then still ended up having to drive down to the store in Salt Lake City to return the item. Dean returned my item and worked hard to find the one that suited my needs best. He was friendly the entire time and I could tell that he really cared about helping me.

Great place to buy power tools. They also offer paint accessories, adhesives, industrial cleaning supplies. Also safety accessories, test instruments, electrical stuff and so on. Staff is kind.and helpful, if you are looking for this types of products this is the place to visit. Very recommended!

This place is not the cheapest, in fact, it is usually one of the most expensive. Nevertheless, they will almost always have what you need today. This was the case for me today. Luckily what I needed wasnt a large item.

I placed an order on the web last night and went to pick it up today around 3:30pm. I was greeted by a very kind associate standing out in the cold to ask for my order number so they could bring it to my car.I was impressed, and to be honest, didnt know quite what to do since I wasnt expecting this level of service so I awkwardly stood there and within a minute my order was in my hands.Thats service!

Some how they lost my order when I went to pick it up. They promised me theyd ship it to me and it arrived perfect. It wasnt a critical item that was urgent but was just as a back up. They took care of me and everything was fine.

Dont go to Grainger and expect to have counter help. Right now its pick up only. WillCall. They will take your name and # and call you back but who knows when. Just call, order, and either go there and pick it up or have it delivered to your house. Theres a bright side to things least you wont have to take the number!!!

Their customer service is great but their prices are all over the map mostly north of ridiculous. I saw a multi tool for $140 that was identical to one at Wal-Mart, I even checked the model number just to be sure. The tool sold at Wal-Mart for $55. I ordered some leveler feet for $5 each and found them at a Caster place for $1.98 exactly the same part. Contractors buy one here, then get them cheaper elsewhere and write off the higher cost to their customers. Shop around, you will find a cheaper price.

I had one of the best experiences at Grainger! I had looked all day everywhere for a round convex mirror for our office. Grainger was the only place that had it available today! Not only that but the employee who helped me was so nice and helped me find the exact item that would work well for our needs and in our price range. After I checked out he brought it out to my car for me! A++ I will definitely be returning for other office needs!

I ordered a motor online, and was able to pick it up at the Salt Lake store that afternoon. The service was exceptional. The will call desk was busy, so a gentleman from sales came over to assist me. He offered to check my old capacitor for me, and quickly helped me to get a new one. Very helpful. I would definitely patronize this business again.

Very disappointed with my last 2 purchases here... The products I bought was more expensive here I found out than at other stores, and one of the products I found from a coworker was fragile, and broke easy for him... Not impressed. So, if you can shop around a bit for what you are looking for, you might easily find a more inexpensive product elsewhere, with the same quality or better elsewhere as well... And when I came in the last time, the person that helped me poked fun at my email address that I gave the company to notify me when the product that I ordered showed up... (The extremely fragile one)... Needless to say, I was given no notification in spite of giving them my email address to let me know when something comes in... But the spam from their company sure seems to come through just fine now... Great!!! I think I will be using this company as a company of last resort from now on, and hope that they hire some more polite workers to man the desks.

Placed an order for some marine paint, was supposed to be in today which would be perfect as I am painting my boat this weekend. but the guy didnt save it to my name and now its gone, cant get it till Monday and now I am screwed! thanks for absolutely nothing! needless to say me or my company will never use these guys again. They always seem to have what I need even if they have to order it. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Parking is fine, but it is not hard to miss the building.

I seriously dont understand how these guys are in business. I mean, their service is great, employees are very helpful and they do have a good inventory of things that are hard to find elsewhere in the valley. However, their prices are so much higher than anywhere else that none of that really matters. Normally when I check I can find the same model # elsewhere for about 25% cheaper than this place on average (sometimes as much as 50%). The only time I even go here is when Im in a position where I cannot wait for an item to ship to me. Even then, I make sure I ask them if they can price match what Ive found online. They have dropped the price for me before to get closer to what I can find elsewhere... but I hate haggling. So, if youre going to go here... I would suggest pricing around a little bit even if its just to get them to drop their original price.

I heard prices were high here but I found what I was looking for cheaper than amazon. Great customer service too! They were very helpful in finding what I needed by my description.

Decided to check these guys out because I wasnt satisfied with the power tool selection at my local big box hardware chains. Turns out they were exactly what I was looking for: a supplier stocking a respectable variety of higher range power tools. A large variety of high range brands? Not so much, but you cant exactly compare a small, local shop to the likes of Amazon.I came there with Makita in mind and was pleasantly surprised by their massive selection from Makita, with variants of many tools in many price/duty ranges. I felt satisfied with the price I paid, and was in awe in the provision of replacement and service parts. Its just not something you see often these days, and I hope its working out for them.Ignoring the now ubiquitous stock of cheap cheese-grade junk here and there, the bulk of shelf space is dedicated to quality tools within established product lines from reputable brands. I was told they hope to expand to a larger location so they can offer an even larger selection, as their current location is densely packed as is, and again I hope it works out for them.

Graingers is the go-to location for commercial contracts. If they dont have a product in stock, it only takes two days to order it in. The only thing I dont like about Graingers is their awkward sales floor. There is no room in their sales area for standing around, so be prepared for an award wait.

My company has an account with Grainger but because I couldnt guess which employees name was listed as the contact they wouldnt sell anything to me. Completely terrible way to run a company.

Terrible service. I need to know what radio holster inventory they have but there is know way to call them to find out.

This is very unprofessional in custom service i call and as a high rated company listed with the better business bureau A+ wit all stars 5 and big rated with Google to home abivor this person server female answering the firm of the company would not send me to sales or would not answer any questions in them selling what I call foe I never use this company and will feel all my company contract how I was treated very every poor

Most of the Grainger employees Ive ever met are arrogant ignorants. I dont like doing business with them but because the company I work for uses them as a vendor I am forced to. Graingers prices are ALWAYS higher than anyone elses. Thats the truth.

Went to buy a pair if regular old knipex pliers.. I was floored when the salesman said almost $50.. I purchased the same pair on amazon for $25 right in their parking lot. If you want to get ripped off go here.
