Terrible customer service. Taylor Made us feel unwelcome and was incredibly rude. He was rolling eyes at us when looking through shirts. Wouldn’t let me purchase a separate item after my original purchase- telling me I was going to short the store more money. Got upset and said, “You can’t do that!” Never coming back.

My mate was seeing snow for the first time. Took him from LA to lake Tahoe, was looking quiteeeee forward to this gondola and view for him. Line went very quickly, we were so excited.about halfway in, a gentleman who came on very strongly told us we wouldnt be able to get in since we didnt have some special resident ski pass. We would have been happy to pay a normal ticket fee to take this ride, but instead felt turned away.. or was to do ridiculous things like sign up for consideration (an hour after I was there because the consideration box was not open) of this pass when I was only going to need that ride one time. we Felt like we were too much trouble and we felt turned away. You accommodate people who ski but youre a tourist spot as well, and that is arguably one of the best casual and yet important experiences there, and you restrict people who chose to visit. Unless they are fully loaded snowboard or skiers.

Stopped in to see about renting bikes for the family. Got some great advice and got us started. Really helpful service.

Dont do it!!! They have a very small selection of equipment compared to most shops. I couldnt get the performance demo package (highest offered) because they didnt have any left. I rented a demo ski, boot and pole package (2nd highest available). The ski edges were very dull and made the whole day of skiing extremely difficult. We also rented skis for the wife and kid who had the same dull edge experience. We rented from another shop (Heavenly Sports) the day before so we had a solid comparison. The equipment was very worn and beaten. The poles were bent and so scratched up you couldnt read the size. Boots and skis were also heavily worn (poor to moderate condition). Some of the staff were not friendly. When I complained about the dull edges upon return, they categorically disagreed before I could finish my sentence. I told them they needed to tune my skis before giving them to anyone else and they basically told me I didnt know what I was talking about. FYI, Ive been skiing for 35+ years. They werent open to hearing it and put my dull skis right back in the rack for the next customer. Right in front of me!!! I couldnt believe my eyes. They clearly didnt care that their equipment was impacting their customers skiing experience. We used this shop for the convenient location and we had a 20% off coupon as guests of Marriotts Timber Lodge, but it was definitely not worth it.

Never going to go anywhere else in Tahoe. These fine people got me setup with new toe straps for my snowboard bindings after a break on the mountain, essentially saving my entire week. On top of it they did it in about 20 minutes, put them on for me, had them in my favorite color and charged me $20 less than I found them on Amazon.The quality of service they provide is only surpassed by the demeanor of the staff there. I will never go anywhere else for my gear needs while in Tahoe!

I am always skeptical of rentals but had no choice on this trip. I ultimately chose Shoreline in Tahoe based on what I could find online.As it turned out, Shoreline had a great selection of demo boards for my boys and I to try out. The staff took the time to highlight several that may work based on our style of boarding, etc. The equipment was in good shape and they definitely went out of their way to make sure we had the setup we were looking for!

Rentals were the cheapest in the area under the gondola. Really quick, friendly, and professional.Only note is that they are not affiliated with Shoreline at Tahoe anymore. The Groupon that shoreline sells will not work here.

Friendly employees and great customer service. Locally run store who knows great suggestions of where to ride.

Went in to rent bikes the lady at the counter Cari was extremely helpful and gave us a ton of tips on where to ride bikes at. Only place i will rent bikes from whenever I come back to Tahoe!!!!

Bad service at the ski rental. Extremely poorly maintained equipment. On my rental skis, the cap was missing at the top, but I noticed that only outside. I complained, but the staff member refused to swap skis, and a colleague finally got a look and gave me others. Incidentally, I got along with someone complaining about broken edges on his rental board. Never again.
