I am not a person who writes online reviews. Heck, I’m not even a DIE HARD Ford guy! However, heritage Ford has been an exceptional experience from day one.The staff is professional, courteous and anticipates customers needs. They have been flexible with scheduling, providing transportation when my truck is in the shop for more than a day, I am always greeted with a smile and treated like royalty.I’ve been thinking about trading in my F150 with 78,000 miles on it, for a 2022 Toyota Tundra.Heritage Ford has got me contemplating staying in the Ford family just so that I can go and service my new truck at Heritage.My wife and I moved here from the Boston area. We have been continually disappointed in the quality of customer service in many different industries here in Vermont. However, I will say that Heritage is a cut above the rest, and delivers to all of our expectations. Kudos to the whole team-from Customer Service department to techs, parts department to the floor. These folks get it right.

Car buying is super stressful and we had gone to many dealers over a 3 day span and were feeling pretty burnt out. We showed up and were taken care of quickly and so well throughout the entire process! Charlie is an excellent salesman and will show you exactly what you are looking for and have all the information for you on the spot. He also kindly reaches out after the purchase process to check up on vehicle and your satisfaction, I would highly recommend coming on a day he works if you’re looking for a new car!And if you need to finance ask for Theresa! I don’t think she couldn’t have been and more helpful or genuine and we left feeling really assured.They are both so friendly and efficient and work hard to make you feel at ease during a big purchase. Thank you both so much for all your help!

Excellent service, I had a 7:30am appointment. The car was in the repair bay minutes after the appointment time. I had explained to the service manager I needed to wait for the service to be completed. He stopped by the waiting area twice, letting me know the progress and estimated time to complete the repair. Couldnt ask for more than that, job was complete in just over an hour..Thanks for what you folks do...Doug Klinefelter

Nathan was out sales person, he was fantastic. He was very understanding of the price point we were looking to stay within. He was not pushy as far as getting us to try other cars, he heard what I was interested in and steered us in the correct direction. He worked hard to get make sure our experience was a good one. His sales manager was also amazing and very genuine.Theresa was our finance person and she was so helpful. She explained the entire process to us as we were going along and was not pushy about the products that were offered. She offered to be the person to be in touch with the DMV so we don’t have to do any of that especially if there is a problem.The process took longer than we expected and poor Nathan and Theresa were there for an hour after closing time with us. They were very wonderful and understanding of having to stay late.The one thing I do have an issue with is the detailing department. The car was not clean and was smelly the first time we looked at it. They put it through the shop again and the smell was better. The outside of the car was shiny and beautiful. When I went to put my sunglasses in the sun glass holder in the car it was full of mouse droppings. They clearly over looked cleaning that area when they cleaned the car out. I’m pretty disappointed in that area.The rest of the process was great.

Heritage was great to work with. I contacted a few local dealerships and Heritage got back to me very quickly. I was given a price that I was happy with over the phone and only had to go in for the test drive, paperwork and pick-up. I only wish that the car buying process didn’t take so long at the dealership as we were there for over 3 hours. All in all, I would certainly recommend Heritage Ford.

Very bad service!Brought my car down the night before so they had it first thing the next morning. They were told they had all day but I needed the car back by the end of the day(the part should have only took an hour at most to program) The 1st call came at 11am saying it was going to cost $250 to put in the part (that I bought) when i was quoted $125. After that was settled that I was paying what was quoted. The 2nd call came and they said they needed the old part brought to them with the spare key, brought that down at 2 and they said just an hour or 2. We got back to Ford service at 4:40 and the car had not been touched was just brought into the shop. At 5:30 I called to find out what was going on because I needed the car for work the next day and was told by the woman answering the phone they had already gone home for the day. They never called me saying they were keeping the car overnight. Not even a call!! Poor poor service

The only suggestion I would make would be to give a customer some guidance where their car is parked at pickup time. The weather was over 90 degrees and I was told to just wander around until I found my car. 10 minutes later I found it in the parking lot but it seems you could do better than that. At least point a customer to an area of say 10 cars. The service was good and the reps were nice. I just would have liked to not have to wander around thousands of cars in unsafe heat to find my car.

My explorer was under repair for a about a month. I cant fault Heritage for the length of the repair. OEM parts are hard to get right now. Heritage made that right by paying for the car rental for the extra time needed for the repair.Here are the 3 issues that I had1. There was some miscommunication with the service team when the vehicle was first thought to be repaired. I was told I would be picked up from my home but the car was not ready and I was not informed. I was left hanging.2. I had no communication for a few weeks from Heritage. I called to check on the status. The day I called it was being finished. Heritage wanted me to come get it and return the rental car. This was at 2:30 ish on a Friday. I told them I couldnt that day as I was working and had no warning. I got some pushback from rep for not being about to drop what I was doing to come in.3. When I did get the car back. Trash was left in my vehicle from the tech that was test driving it and a reusable mask was missing that was stored above the divers sun visor.

Sometimes timing is everything. I was looking to replace a 20 year old farm truck with 170k miles and a 20 mile radius rule with a vanilla f150 with less age and fewer miles. We met with Jake who had helped my father previously. They had just taken in a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 three days prior. It was more truck than I needed but Jake worked with me to make it work financially and I drove it home today. They did a great job detailing the truck to make it look new. Very happy.G

Dealership acknowledged that they charge more time to troubleshot than it takes. They charge more than national averages therefore warranty companies don’t cover all of repair. Did a repair a while back and I noticed a problem. They told me they don’t believe me because I waited too long to tell them. Sorry I am busy and didn’t have time to come in for a rattle. Won’t cover the repair of what they most likely broke. I have had good experiences with them but I am regularly disappointed with lack of communication. Will be looking for a new mechanic

Truck took longer then expected but wasn’t all on the dealership fault. The virus and insurance issues delayed just as much. Dealership was great in keeping in contact with about progress. Once truck was complete picked up no issues front cab was cleaned as well. Work looks well done. Some metal shavings left in bed but no worries. Cleaner then when I dropped it off. Drove about 15 miles day picked up and tire light came on. Called dealership and they were concerned and sorry and will get me back in to check. So overall score an A.

Contacted the dealership about a 2020 Raptor. I wanted to trade in my 2018. I even went through the trouble of sending them 20+ photos (which they misplaced the first time). I was looking for an estimated value on my trade in. Got no response for a couple days. Finally, I was told I would get an estimate, but I would have to wait until Monday... possibly... as they were very busy. I had expressed I would put a deposit on the truck if I could get an estimated trade in value on mine. On Monday 9-21-20 I was told the truck was sold late Saturday evening. Stay away from this dealership.

I had an awful experience with Heritatge Ford buying a used 2017 Ford Explorer from them this past month. The sales department was unprofessional, the financing department offered a loan and rate that they pulled back on the day of pick-up, to then promise that same rate with a bank that they had applied for the loan with without my knowledge or consent. Three weeks after the purchase, I had not received my plates, registration nor any information or contact from the bank. I contacted the finance department to inquire, they informed me that my loan had been denied, and that they had reapplied with the intention of paying down the rate. No one even contacted me to communicate the loan had not gone through, nor ask permission around next steps. Celeste, the finance manager was rude and told me that this was my fault because I had to have the rate, that rate which she offered me. I was upset about the loan and the temp plate/registration expiring in a week. She then informed me she had contacted Beacon who is a company that arranged for plates and registration, and had confirmed that the permanent plates would be sent to dealership because I am out of state and theyd have them for me to pick up, and if not they would find a way to help with extending temps. She then called me two days before temp plates expired to let me know they had my plates, and then later that day told me that she was wrong and that the plates had been delivered to my house in Brooklyn. The week prior she told me that they would work with me if plates didnt arrive in time to get extension on temp plates since I needed to leave on business and wouldnt be able to drive the car without registration. I was then informed that they could not help me, and that i would have to find someone to send the plates to my location. Again, she seemed to think I was being unreasonable to be upset and frustrated with the multiple exchanges of false or misleading info. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO BUY A CAR.

We pretty much knew what we were looking for before we arrived. The sales person was friendly, knowledgeable, and didn’t pressure us to buy more vehicle than we needed. After some friendly back-and-forth, we agreed on a fair price. The people in the financial office also were very nice and explained additional offerings without any pressure or over selling. The vehicle was ready on time and after a minor glitch with some of the technology, we drove off with a new vehicle less than 24 hrs after our first visit.

I had a extremely specific request on the vehicle I wanted. Ariel Ballard was quite helpful in getting me a test-drive despite it being closing hours, and got the information she needed to further assist me. But at the same time, I felt like I was working with my neighbor and not someone selling vehicles. She then spent about 4 weeks searching for the type of vehicle I was looking for and kept good communications with me but without being pushy in any way. She hit the right balance, which was greatly appreciated. I would easily do business with her again.Also, I was quite pleased with the mechanics. My transmission went out less than 2000 miles before the warranty on it ran out. They replaced it without question and gave me a loaner vehicle as well. Like Ariel, they communicated well too.

I purchased a used vehicle from Heritage Ford (shoutout to Dylan for being so helpful!). The buying process was made easy, and everyone at Heritage was very kind. Unfortunately, just a few months after purchasing my vehicle I encountered some major transmission issues. It was an extremely stressful situation, but Shawn in the service center was beyond awesome and Larry made sure my problems were taken care of at no cost to me. For some perspective, Im a full time grad student at a nearby college. I was looking to lease a new vehicle to replace my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer. My fiance has had work done on her car at Heritage for a while (transmission-computer recall issues) and every time she came back from there, she praised the staff and how well she was treated, so I decided to see what Heritage could offer me.Long story short, I walked in after inquiring online about a new truck. I was provided with outstanding customer service throughout the entire process. Specifically the employee I worked with on my lease deal was Kyle O. I would highly recommend him. He was an absolute pleasure to work alongside. I never felt pressured or uneasy about anything. He was super easy to talk to and is all around a genuinely good guy. I ended up getting KBB value for my trade in, coupled with a great deal of rebates and incentives, and worked out an unreal deal on a new truck. No haggle or hassling, just real and honest deals and service. Not sure what else you could ask for from a dealership. I would highly recommend to anyone in VT and surrounding area.

Scheduled my truck for routine maintenance and a vibration issue. Problem found and a new drive shaft installed. The only suggested improvement is that the part was delayed and it took us calling for status checks - wish Heritage would have kept us better updated as the truck went in Monday and was done Friday. I drove in with with a broken rear windshield wiper thinking they would have order the part and make an appointment to get it fixed, but they had it in stock and fixed it right away. They took my car into the shop and replaced the wiper for me and I was on my way. Taking the old wiper arm off took the longest, but they fixed it for me right away and were very pleasant to deal with as always.

First, Very disappointed in how much this cost. I thought it would be covered by my maintenance plan, but obviously I was wrong. My bad. This is my third battery since I bought the car in 2015. Had I known it was not covered, I would have taken care of this myself for about $100.00 rather than $300.00. But you already had the car, and I needed it and didn’t want the extra hassle.Second, I could not get there until 4:30 and you said you closed at 4:00. Ok, no problem, you left my key in the car and I got it. However, you sandwiched the car between two trucks which meant I had to back out quite a ways before I could turn it. You had a Climate Systems truck parked parallel behind me in the roadway, which made it virtually impossible to maneuver without help. This caused me to hit the CSI truck. Figuring that everyone had gone home, I wasn’t sure what to do. Then luckily I found someone who worked there to help me out. He got the car out but had to back up and go forward about 6 or 7 times, and that was only because I was there to tell him when to stop. I didn’t have anyone to help me as I thought you were all gone. I feel this was your fault because the CSI truck should never have been parked there.Needless to say, if it is not covered by my plan (which I don’t believe I will get my money’s worth), I will not be back for service.Thank you

After having a rough experience with another local dealership, I found myself at Heritage Ford. I had just sold my current vehicle and was supposed to be buying another when after making a deposit, suddenly there werent any vehicles available anymore. I found myself car-less and in a rush to find something else Id be happy with. The first person I interacted with was Charlie. He was extremely friendly, informative, and helped me figure out that what I knew I liked, and what I thought I wanted, wouldnt help or make me as happy as what I wanted. I left having my faith restored in dealership sales. Although I purchased a used vehicle, I was not treated any differently than the other people buying new vehicles. Charlie was absolutely wonderful. I cant stop raving about him.Steve Connors was nice to talk to and helped me get to the payment I wanted while filling out the finance information. I was surprised at how well Steve worked, even with his hand in a cast! Corey went out of his way to stop by and talk to my husband and I while Charlie was gone prepping the car. He offered short, but nice conversation to help us pass the time. Everyone we interacted with at Heritage was wonderful, and I will most definitely be back in the future.

Had a very strange windshield wiper malfunction that led to a false error code. dealership did a great job finding the error code and then discovering its inaccuracy. They were able to solve the problem despite the false error code and without charging more than they should have for the issue. I was very pleased and so far no sign of the issue showing up again.

Servicing a recall on my out-of-state vehicle was a very easy process. The department even informed me I had a free clutch replacement under my warranty plan I didnt know about. Everything returned fine and in order, and Mike was kind enough to spend some time at the end of his shift providing me advice on other items I was contemplating getting fixed, as well as general maintenance. Very easy, pleasant experience.

Ive been very impressed with both the sales and service teams at Heritage ford. The staff are always very kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely want to help. Gary and Shawn in service are always super kind and welcoming, even when Ive dropped by without an appointment at 5pm!I recently had an issue with my vehicle, and they spent some serious effort diagnosing the issue and are working to resolve it. Awesome customer service. My family has been buying cars from Heritage for a long time, and I dont see that changing. Keep up the good work and thank you for the awesome service!

I had a great experience purchasing my vehicle from this dealership a couple of months ago. I loved the treatment and attention I got from Michael Connolly (Mike). He is by far the best sales person Ive ever encountered at a dealership. Ive had some experiences with sales agents at dealerships before, including Ford (in NY), which have left me with a sense of distrust and disdain. Mike completely turned that around. He had cool, laid-back, open and honest attitude that inspired trust, which is very important and rare to find in this industry. He seemed like a very genuine individual and he made my experience very comfortable. I got no surprises (except pleasant ones) when it came to the financials or the performance of the vehicle (2013 Ford C-Max). Love the car. I will certainly be recommending this dealership and agent to my friends and family and hope to deal with Mike in the future.

We came to Heritage Ford looking for a very specific brand new F150 for my husband. We worked with Dylan. They didnt have it in stock that day, but Dylan called us back a week later to let us know it just arrived off the truck! He put it aside for us, and we completed the purchase a day later. He was informative, funny and easy to work with. It was the most simple car buying experience Ive ever had. Had an engine light come on and was in Colchester for the day. Called to see if they could run a code and the service department had me come in around 4,ran the code and fixed the problem in less than an hour! Would highly recommend Hertitage Ford! Thank you again for your wonderful service!
