Theyre selling things from savealot and aldis and making their own price for an example I went in there today and bought butter now you all know that butter costs 99 cent and he decided to charge 4 dollars for it and he told me that its not an community store and they get it from walmart but everyone knows imperial butter is not 4 dollars in Walmart so who can I call to report this store to corp for another example my kids went and bought slushies from them and they tasted like metal they need a health inspector to check that out as well, theyre chips are always stale and the worker Likes to humiliate his customers and put it on social media and when they ask to delete it he says no I think we need to work together to shut down Southside grocery

Im with the South Bend Fire Department. We had a big fire, right next door to the grocery store on New Years Day, which was cold, sleeting, and windy. We were there for hours, and the owners of the store welcomed us inside to warm up, and gave us free coffee and cappuccino. They were gracious, friendly, and really helped make a long, wearisome incident a little bit better.Id been to the grocery store once or twice, many years ago. Clearly these are new owners, because the store looks much, much nicer. It was much cleaner, better organized, and better supplies than Ive seen it.

I just go here to pay my house bills. The cashier is always on the phone. Customer service is a low priority.

It got better once management changed hands, but now its going way down hill again. They dont stock most of their merchandise very often, theres only ever one MAYBE two people working at any given time and you cant always find them, which, in a store that small shouldnt be that hard to begin with.

Nice neighborhood grocery store, but not in a safe location. Panhandlers nearby during daylight hours. If you aint from around here, my advice is dont come here. Bullet riddled neighborhood.

Friendly little store we go there a lot since its in our neighborhood Im glad that they finally redid the floor it was kind of dangerous with all the loose tiles but its comfortable now to go in there

Thats where we always go its a block a way from where we live Ive become friends with both employees there not only are they nice their extremely funny its always a joy to go in there I always leave with a smile on my face

I asked for something that had to be cut in produce area. And the cashier says I had a $5 minimum but he wasnt cutting nothing. Hes a foreign person and yeah when you go in there and you can barely understand him. Somebody needs to go in and keep an eye on him and if youre not his Caucasian or his natural heritage you get treated like youre nobody so you need to check that out or get rid of him
