Went to get a car with my sister last night. Told us final price tax, title, license would be 32,000 (a little bit over that). Went sit down with the finance guy and he told us our note for 75 months would be over $600 with a 9. something interesting rare. Using a calculator I got that 0.09 x 32,000 would be 2,880. So that would be a total of 34,880. Even if you divide that by 72, the answer is 484.44. So I really don’t understand how they came to a note of over $600 a month. Something wasn’t right

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! I am from out of state and needed service badly. They laughed at my plight and claimed it will take upwards to 3-4 months before they could fix my car. The very unprofessional Philip Fildes (rat face) did not follow proper procedures and without looking at the car claimed he knew what the issue was (his arrogance oozed through him.) So I pressed for more info.Turns out it was not just 3-4 months to fix it, it was going to the be 3 weeks extra to wait in line to fix it. His you are behind people excuse was wafer thin as I pressed on why it took someone else so long to get their car back since it had been sitting in there since July 8th. He said it was irrelevant. Jokes on him, I was not some newb off the streets of Dumbsville, and knew he was full of it. Needless to say I will make sure the 4 cars they have in their lot will not be sold due to the poor quality service of someone in dire need.

I brought my 2016 Soul to Lakeshore on Jan. 18,2021. I had to wait for 3 weeks to get an appointment. I told the service department that my cars check engine light comes on every two weeks and stays on for three days. I took my car to two certified auto mechanics. Both said the car needs a reflash. But they couldnt get into the system.I had to travel 70 miles round trip for Lakeshore to fix my car. They did a diagnostic test and determined that there was a loose connection and dirty engine filter. It cost me $178 for nothing. The light came back on again. They never did the reflash. They are clueless.Beware of their service department. They ripped me off.

Kyle the sales manager refused to honor the dealership’s own published sales price. Kept insisting on scam dealership add-ons that had previously gone completely unmentioned through a week of checking all options and asking our questions upping the price tag several thousand dollars. When we insisted on the agreed price, he started trying to pressure us into his hand picked financing deal. I’ve never seen anyone lie so many times in that short a time frame. I no longer think I could even trust this dealership to not cheat me on an oil change. Literally, all they had to do to close this deal was sell us the car for the price they published on their own website.

Over 3 and a half hours for an oil change! Not even a tire rotation, just an oil change. I was told it would be about 2 hours. I can live with that. But “about 2 hours” is like an hour and 45 minutes or maybe 2 hours and 15 or 20 minutes. I will never come here again. If I could give zero stars I would.

Nope. Never again. Took my 2018 Sedona in for the standard oil/rotate tires service. Glad I asked for price. $70? Really? You are RIPPING people off and preying on those who know nothing about cars. It was $39 last time I came here, which is a reasonable price. Off to OReillys I go to get my $25 worth of parts. Good luck with your business. I wont be returning my lease here.

Test drove vehicle. Everything was great. Was told about an “extra rebate of 2500” from salesman. Sticker price and price salesman said was XXXX. Went there first business day later to purchase vehicle and when we sat down and were given the numbers, they did give the 2500 rebate, however they added 5000 and 1300 in charges to XXXX. I sent salesman highlighted screenshots of a text conversation we had after the test drive where I specifically asked how the extra 2500 would adjust the price that we saw on the vehicle - XXXX. They’re response was it would be 2500 off of that. They did not honor what they said in person or what they said via text. Sales Manager has still not returned my calls in attempt to explain what happened. They lost a customer forever and a lifetime of negative publicity. Do yourself a favor and go to another dealership. I would give 0 stars if it would let me.

I drove all the way from Washington Parish an hour away to get a oil change due to the Covington location being closed for service. When I arrived I was told it would be a 4 hour wait. I called them before coming to get an appointment but the man said you just walk in. This kind of service is horrible he never said you may have to wait 3 to 4 hours for a oil change so my day was wasted driving a hour there and a hour back. I will never do business with them ever again. Nor will I buy from Kia again.

First off I was nervous to buy a new car and did not really think it was going to be a easy experience. As soon as I walked in help was waiting. My saleswoman (Kristy) was amazing and made me feel extremely comfortable. I was actually excited to be working with a woman. The trade in was better than I wanted. I told them my goals for a new vechile and they met them beyond my expectations. Although car shopping takes all day, I felt extremely relaxed and stress free through the entire process. I definitely recommend this dealership.I don’t normally write reviews, but I feel like they needed this postive recommendation from a current buyer.

I found my forever car dealership. I have bought many cars and often felt as though I did not get the best deal. This was the ABSOLUTE best car buying experience I have ever had. The Sales Manager, Finance Manager and Sales rep Amy Landry were a pleasure to work with. I have never had a team work so well together to make sure that I left there with the best experience. My experience was great. Every other Kia Dealership in New Orleans gave me the run around and would not return phone calls. They were more concerned on getting the bigger sales. When I came to Lakeshore they took care of me and gave me no problems nor hassle. They were very friends and eager to help me get into the car of my desire.

Unfortunately, this was a stereotypical poor dealership experience. Went in to evaluate a Kia versus some other options I was considering. Salesman was able to provide me with a great deal of information about the vehicle, but it was only after I left and did some research that I discovered almost every fact I was told about the vehicle was inaccurate. They werent even small details... Among several other things, I was told I could get the vehicle with a 6 cylinder engine (not an option) and I was told the transmission was a type that doesnt even exist. If you dont know, thats fine - but dont lie to me.I stated up front that I was early in my research process, but I still got the hard sell What do we have to do to put you in a car today?! At the end I was asked to go back inside so my salesman could get me a brochure for the vehicle I was looking at. Instead of a brochure I was met with a manager who tied me up for ~30 minutes just rambling about things that had nothing to do with the car. I kept trying to get away without being rude, but the manager would not get the hint. It was obvious enough that (I swear to God) the salesman actually emailed me and apologized for the managers behavior. I never did get a brochure!Kia makes some great vehicles, but the experience at this dealer pushed me to look elsewhere. Do your homework and dont trust everything youre told!

After being frustrated by another dealership in New Orleans, I drove 45 minutes to Lakeshore Kia and I wish I wouldve went there to begin with. I worked with Dustin and he was great! I got the vehicle I wanted, at the price I wanted, and it was so easy and stress-free. They didnt try to pressure me on anything extra and provided excellent customer service. If youre looking to buy a Kia save yourself the aggravation and make this your first stop, it will more than likely be your only stop.

I took my brand new Kia in for a battery warranty and was told they couldn’t cover my battery because they can’t even get their own lot cars covered under warranty. Not sure I needed to know about their internal issues but I do know my warranty covers a new battery.

The Kia I bought was within the kelly blue book range and there auto warranty program has excellent points. My auto insurance agent ranked there lds warranty package as one of the best in the industry. So far I am very pleased with the service I have received.

I called Service Manager, Randy, two days ago to make an appointment to have recall work done (fuel tank straps have to be replaced). I never get a call back whenever I leave a message, so I decided to just go in. I arrived at 10 am & explained why I was there and that it was a 45 minute trip each way. Randy said I must have an appointment, even though he verified the straps were in stock. Now I have to get up next week, drive almost an hour to finally get this work done. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER !!

Very good honest person. Values your time and money. So unlike the other pushy greedy salespeople I have dealt with. Would buy from this dealership again but only if I get the same salesperson. Had my first experience with these guys on Saturday. They were fantastic! Louis was super friendly and easy to work with. I bought the car Saturday evening. When I got home, I found two dents on rear door. I showed up Monday morning and they repaired the dents in less than 30 minutes without giving me any hassle or grief first. Im taking my mother here next weekend to purchase a Sorrento. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know.

Absolutely terrible customer service in the service department. Called in to set up an appointment to bring my Kia in and was told they do not have an opening until Feb 30th...THIS DATE DOES NOT EXIST! Then informed me that I should have came back in October that my vehicle probably hasnt been running good since then. Hes more than welcome to pay for my service to be done as I didnt have the money at that time... no need to be rude. So I called Covington and spoke to the super friendly guy named Mike and was able to get my service done on my available off day and was called throughout the day with updates. I actually work at a dealership that does not sell turbo vehicles so our service department cannot work on it and if our service department had this terrible customer service we would not do well at all. I do not recommend getting Kia service done here.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Lakeshore Dodge in Slidell. I arrived at the dealership 30 minutes before closing. The sales consultant, Reed Scaglione, was very helpful in trying to help me find a vehicle. When we couldnt find exactly what I wanted on the lot, he and the sales manager, Chase Favre, continued to work 45 minutes after closing time to find me the right car. Ultimately, they traveled over 100 miles to get me the perfect vehicle. I have never experienced such a high level of customer service. From this point on, every vehicle that I and my family purchase will be from Lakeshore.

I have tried for two weeks to set up an appointment through the service department as I have a recall on my vehicle that needed to be addressed. Every time I get transferred to the service department, no one answers and I receive an answering machine. Ive left no less than three messages. I ended up making an appointment at a different dealership. Their lack of attention to customers will cause them to lose business.
