I went to several dealerships and the salespeople gave me the run around. I was getting weary of dealing with the salespeople at dealerships. Everyone I dealt with at First Nissan in Simi Valley were professional, honest, respectful and helpful. Edgar the sales person, Hamid a manager, and Paul the finance person were great. I bought a very nice new car for my teenage son at a great price and I am very happy customer :-)

Most of my purchases from dealerships were tainted by the usual sneaky, deceptive underhanded practices that many engage in- It puts a dark cloud over the car.Ill always have a happy memory of the day I bought the Murano at Nissan because this dealership had good guys, good management and were straight shooters.Would recommend!

Had an experience with this dealership a few months ago while looking for a new car since mine had broken down. Was in the market for a used car and searching my local dealerships for hopefully a good deal and decided to stop by the Nissan dealership on first since I was in the area. The second I got out of my car we were approached by a salesmen, which is to be expected, but we told him we were just looking around for now. He walked away as we walked around the lot of their used cars, although nothing was within my price range since all of their Used cars were practically brand new models. As we tried to leave since I couldnt afford any of their vehicles, we were followed by probably about 6-8 different salesmen all trying to ask us if we needed help with anything or wanted to take any cars for a test drive. This was extremely aggressive already and was starting to annoy us as we were just trying to leave and made that obvious, it was starting to feel like we were being escorted out practically. Right as I got in my car, the manager of the dealership walked up to us and with a large amount of attitude said to talk to him when we were actually serious about buying a car, scoffed and walked away, which was extremely rude as we were very serious about buying a car. This entire experience was the worst I have ever had with a car dealership, and made me realize what people meant when they say car dealerships are shark infested waters. The disrespect and aggressive tactics from these salesmen, especially the manager, made it an easy decision to never give this dealership our business, and I will tell anyone who asks me about them the same thing. Disgusting sharks all over this lot.

1st Nissan is shown on the electric vehicle Plugshare app as a charging station location. I went there to charge my car and was told by the Owners assistant that there is a 30 minute limit. 30 minutes is not enough time for a full charge. There is no info on the Plugshare app about a time limit for this charging station. I have owned three Nissans over the last fifteen years and even though I have a Chevy Bolt now, they definitely lost me as a future customer. Very frustrating drive to this station and then to not be able to fully charge my car due to this time limit. They should remove their charge station from the Plugshare app or make sure drivers know ahead of time that there is a thirty minute time limit for charging by adding that info to the Plugshare app. Most charging stations have a 1 hour time limit if any time limit at all. Just FYI for any EV drivers in the Simi Valley, CA area...

I’ve been taking my vehicle to first Nissan for years and have had a great experience but my last visit wasn’t a good experience at all. Just a few weeks after I got my truck back, I started to hear noises from the engine and when I opened the hood, I discovered that the caps for the coolant reservoir and the windshield washer fluid were both missing. I took a closer look and found there was nothing in the coolant reservoir. I then checked my oil level and discovered that it was very low. I had to add three bottles of oil to bring it up to the proper range. This fixed the noises I had been hearing. It appears their tech only did half the job that I paid full price for. Not long after that, my engine just stopped while i was driving. Fortunately I wasn’t on the highway so I was just able to pull over and restart it. Since then it has died two more times. This never happened before I took it in.

The time was not over an unexpected amount of two hours or so, the work done was done well and the car looks and sounds better than it did before I brought it in, and the staff were helpful and courteous. The only thing I hope that is brought back, is the shuttle service given covid I can understand its absence but I hope that changed by next time.

Went to First Nissan to look at a Altima SR Variable Compression Turbo. Tahsin was extremely helpful showing me the car and answering all of my questions. She gave me plenty of space to look at the car without any pressure and a complete test drive. The sales manager also came over to introduce himself. Although I didnt purchase the vehicle, I highly recommend Tahsin and 1st Nissan if you are interested in a Nissan vehicle.

Robert or Rafael always makes sure to keep you updated on the progress of your vehicle and its needs as you are waiting. Roberts or Rafael also keeps in communication through texts which makes it really nice if you need to ask any questions that come to mind. They always address my comfort while waiting, which makes the visit a very comfortable and pleasant one ! My vehicle always comes back to me freshly washed. I would highly recommend bringing your car in, they are the best !

In contrast to associates at Gardena Nissan, which didn’t understand Nissan’s warranty rules, Greg explained Nissan’s policies after taking the time to verify with the manufacturer. Even after I moved to Port Hueneme which is a 40 minute drive 7 yrs ago I continue to go to Simi for all my service needs. Hes always treated me like a VIP. All my vehicle purchases have been made from 1st Nissan and they have all been new. Its important to service your vehicles on their recommended schedule.

My car needed quite a few things done, it was expensive as there was so much that needed to be done but no one knows my Nissan better, and I’m so excited to say my car feels like new! It hasn’t driven this well since I first bought it and makes it all worth it! With the long list of things that needed to be done they got everything done in a day so I didn’t have to worry about not having a car. I had a tire coming apart from the inside and Rafael was genuinely concerned for me and my safety and wanted to make sure I got the tire fixed under warranty as soon as possible. I really appreciated that, and will definitely return in the future!

There is a Fast DC charging station on the property. It is paid, so I do not quite understand why it is only for Nissan Leaf cars. Well, I understand the owners want to make it available for their fleet during business hours, but I do not like that they enforce it after hours when it is not being used. It happened this evening, I was driving my Tesla Model 3, and the car was running out of juice, the battery had only a few miles left. This Chargepoint charger was the only fast charger around that I could use. I paid for the session, I was not stealing your electricity. I saw some employees driving by and entering the building, they saw me, and shortly after, somebody completely shut down the station before the session I had paid for was over. That is rude!

Had problems for years with my 2011 Altima. Replaced mass air flow sensor multiple times based on diagnostic readings. Finally took it in to dealership and they had it fixed in 2 days. Had problems with throttle bottle and valve cover. William found a warranty from Nissan that covered the replacement of the damaged throttle body. So far it has worked great since getting it back!

Nothing lacking at all! Robert kept me up to date & could have easily upsold me but he didnt. I was concerned about my brakes, but he showed me that they were fine. He did find that my battery was weak but was under warranty, so I only had to pay 25% of the cost. Comfortable waiting room. I felt well taken care of!

I bring my 2010 Cube for service at this dealership. They provide good customer service upon arrival.I usually do not wait for my car, so if I dont have a ride, I use their courtesy shuttle to be dropped off at home or other locations while my vehicle is being worked on.They text you on the progress of your vehicle, and the service advisor will call you if anything comes up on the service requested while theyre working on the vehicle.Any questions Ive had on the inspection summary, theyve always answered. Usually my car is washed before its returned and the cashier is pleasant when paying for my service upon pick up.I receive a survey via email afterwards and any issues can be taken care of through this survey too. I enjoy having my vehicle serviced at this dealership.

I know very little about cars and Chris was so helpful. When giving me a quote he told me what was absolutely necessary and what could wait a bit longer so I didnt feel like I was being pressured into spending more money, which a lot of mechanics or body shops tend to do. I also got a free ride to work and was able to come pick up my car later from the showroom which was much more convenient than coming back before 6 durring traffic!

Also, my Finance Manager, Henry, was extremely helpful and everyone worked so well together as a team. I could not have been happier.
