Every time we walk into the store we are graciously greeted and the staff covers the whole store to help us find the product we are searching for. In one instance they didn’t have the specialized equipment we needed and suggested a couple of other stores in town. Now that is a service oriented business operation that will have me returning again!

Always mellow good people evertime. I go. Can take your time no pressure shoes for the most part for me and the work out good so yeah all good

We buy shoes here all the time and they always have a great selection and great prices too. The staff is always helpful and nice.

This used to be my favorite store for buying shoes. A shoe fitting stool and a long-handled shoe horn would be very helpful.

Wonderful folks. Called about an item with limited availability that was on sale. Not only did they hold the item for me for several days, but they were able to discount it further with a military discount. Very friendly and helpful on the phone, bright and helpful in person also. Wonderful. Ive also had luck buying fishing items here. Good spot!

I decided yesterday to give Big Five in Sierra Vista another chance. I had been in there a month ago to buy shoes and they were very unhelpful and almost rude! However, we all have our bad days so I gave it another chance and after today I will so my best to shop at another sporting goods store if I need something from one. My son and I went looking for shoes again and again they were just not very helpful! I understand not having what were looking for but it least act like you care to help your customers! Second we were looking at the rifles and BB guns and I had a couple questions. The guy behind the counter was helping someone else, so we patiently waited and he walked with him to the cashier came back and I thought he was going to say can I help you? No such luck! He walked into the little office area and shut the door!! Didnt even acknowledged our existence! I had to go find someone else who was stocking to help us! Its just so rude! Its least say, Iam very busy, someone will be right with you! Ridiculousness!!

Went here on Black Friday. Was greeted almost immediately by a sales associate he helped my daughter and I locate everything we came in for. They were well staffed and stocked. Plenty of cashiers. They even helped us load the larger items into our vehicle. Thank you Big 5 I will be back !!

Visited few times but the excuse is that we do not know if certain equipment is going to come in or not. After follow on call, excuse was, It seems that particular equipment did not arrive.So my question from a managerial perspective is why is this an issue? If you conduct daily check on what is out, then you order, and then it is on Order. So is it the franchise warehouse a failure..or is this how Big 5 does business (especially on a regulary sold items)?

I don’t even know why I bother coming here. They never have anything in stock. Their shoes are all 10 years old. In the rare occurrence you do find something, you can’t try it on because of COID-19 restrictions, because going in an enclosed dressing room is so much riskier than walking around the store. This is the last time I’m walking in this store again. It is a complete waste of time. I will resort to going online and shopping for sportswear going forward. On a side note, the employees working at the store are pretty friendly but they are powerless to do anything about it.

Poor selection and over priced. Cashier couldnt fix a problem customers issues; it took a long time bc no one knows their job or the price of their merchandise. What a joke place to shop. Never again will I shop there.

The workers are friendly. For merchandise, somethings are spot on and others leave much to be desired. The knives they sell are typically cheap Chinese steel and are available on Amazon for 30-50% less than you would pay for here. The shoes have been hit or miss for quality, with some lasting a while, while others having the zipper and fabric separate after four months (tactical boots). Weve had good luck otherwise. Camping, fishing, apparel, and other gear weve had good luck with.

They are consistent and provide a great variety of sporting goods!

If you need hiking or work boots without the circus of a box store, give them a try, youll be pleasantly surprised. Went to find a pair of hiking boots, and was surprised by how much they had. There were hiking boots, as well as work boots, with and without steel toes.The staff was attentive without being overly pushy. Was in and out in about 25 minutes after trying 4 pairs of boots. Try doing that at a box store or mall. Their quality was FAR better than Walmart for the same price. Store was well organized and very easy to get in and out of. Will be coming here to buy shoes and boots from here on out.

I go on Friday to receive Vouchers for $50 dollars of batteries, flashlights camping gear actually anything but weapons as donation from Sky Island Universalist church. Great experience everytime.

Great store! I bought a pair of hiking boots, the price was very reasonable.

Besides not having a very good selection. The people that work here don’t go outside and don’t know anything about the products they are selling. I knew more about the product then the guy working here. I will either travel to Tucson and go to REI or purchase on amazon. This place is a joke.

Bought some Nike sports shorts took them home through them in the was and they came appart in the wash. Took them in for an exchange but they said they couldnt exchange or refund. If you cant stand behind you products you shouldnt be selling them.

A great place to buy sporting goods. The sales staff friendly and helpful. A real stand out there is Rodney in the shoe department. My wife and I had a great visit with him while purchasing shoes.

Good selection of sports and outdoor equipment. However just need to have the shelves restocked or at least cleaned up. During a sale its kinda hard to find the items that are labeled for sale.

WISH I COULD GIVE 10 STARS...Since ive moved to SV Ive experienced the worst customer service of my life. However, Big 5 had the best customer service in town. Theyre friendly, supper helpful as soon as you enter, and knowledgeable of their products. Definitely will go again!

In and out I buy tennis shoes for 12 year old girl. She didnt like any on Wall but found a pair in correct size amongst sale shoes. We didnt have store help, guess didnt need any. Cashier was friendly uet professional. Good price for better quality shoes than available at Wal-Mart.

They are ok. They have the basics, and its a good athletic store for this small town. But I just feel like it has too many clothes when you can get those elsewhere. It should focus more on the sporting/workout equipment that we cant find in this town rather than workout clothes that you can get anywhere here.

Picked over, gun selection is lacking compared to days gone by.

I enjoy seeing what Big 5 Sporting Goods has on their daily sale. I purchased two of the Suisse 0-5 degree sleeping bags for $25 each and a pair of Sarangetti drivers. The sales associate was very helpful and assisted me with finding the sunglasses that I preferred. Helpful and friendly staff.

I have always liked the store and gotten good deals here on high quality products I bought a backpack here 10 years ago and I still use it and it is still great. My last trip there I bought a tent it was a good price and a good product better than Walmart comprable prices. The staff was not as friendly as I remembered it from years ago they were helpful but they seemed like they were not into working there. And they have a weird return policy they will take returns but its not like any other place so if youre spending a lot of money on something that you are not sure about check on the return policy it is strange

Went to buy ammo and some other things. Went home, I live in Benson, we dont have a big 5.Checked my bags for the ammo. Couldnt find it. The next morning the manager Steve said he found the ammo on the counter. He said to come in and pick it up. I told him where I lived, 35 minutes away. He said he would make it right with me. After work I went back to the store and Steve was hiding in the back. Wouldnt come out to talk to me or make his promise good.

Was looking for hiking shoes, they had nothing for my wide feet. But my Son found a pair he liked. Look for discounted merchandise unless you are looking to empty your wallet.

Even though they did not carry what I was looking for,they were kind enough to give me names of other places to check out that might have the item I needed.

Poor customer service. They sit behind the glass am watch you but wont get up to help. Walked out on a several hundred dollars in paintball guns and supplies. Ill take my money to Tucson where actually want your money.
