Overpriced and unnecessaryNot only is all the merchandise except games and hardware overpriced, gamestop rewards and trade-ins are a ripoff.I went in to get cash for a ps4 pro. Gamestop site said I would get $250. Not bad actually. Go in to sell it and they have to test the hardware, no big deal. Guy at the counter proceeds to absolutely fumble the controller and drops in on the ground. Okay...proceeds to test it and it fails the test. (Right stick wasnt going all the way up on their tester by literally a hair so it failed it, all the rest was fine) He then proceeds to tell me I will be charged a $55 refurbish fee. Dude literally dropped the controller not a minute before. Refused to admit it was that what failed it. Then proceeds to try and get me to pay extra money to get a rewards program and game informer magazine. I denied paying for the magazine ($10). He states it was free but the receipt after showed it wasnt. So not only was I scammed out of $65 compared to the website because of their own doing, they put on something I didnt want and was told was free.Shop anywhere else online and go the CashLand across the street to sell instead.

I preordered a game and asked if the preorder bonuses were the same as the official websites bonuses and they guy said they were. I picked up my preorder when it came out and noticed there wasn’t a code, so I called and asked about it and was told by another guy there were no bonuses for the order.

I’m a kid on my moms phone writing this. This is a great place and the other reviews that say the staff are rude are fake and they are Karen’s. Go here for everything and it smells nice only if you are a gamer. So go here if you are a gamer to appreciate the smell.

Found everything I wanted and everything was going good until I went to my pay I was told they couldn’t accept cash. I was quite literally told my money is no good there and quite frankly. GameStop is already a dying company and now you lost yet another customer permanently. Games are cheaper online most of the time anyways.

Store has been rearranged but the staff was friendly and helpful.

Had an external hard drive for 6 months from here then it stopped working. Paid $90 for it and it only worked for 6 months. Never get anything from GameStop. Never bring games you don’t want to gamestop they will give you $10 for a game you don’t want and sell it for $30. They suck sell the games online not bring them to gamestop.

Store was clean. Employees had masks on. Games cost more here than Walmart. Selection was very limited.

Always find cheap games

The staff is always very friendly and helpful. No hassle returns. I bought the latest black Ops game from there for my son for his birthday and I had to get it the night I went because his birthday was the next day. As I was heading to the big blue retail store I thought let me stop at gamestop real quick, I know theyre not gonna have it(used) because it just came out this week. So I stopped in anyways, and they had 1 used copy. I know I just had lucky timing for that example. Although you never know, I got the game and with the everything warranty it was still a couple of bucks cheaper than big blue.

The worker young guy is mean and doesnt seem to like customers. Hes rude. Most of the workers there have attitudes. I just stopped shopping there. Walmart has alot better people that actually want to help you
