I just went here last week, and these guys have turned the corner on customer service. Ive been there in the past; and customer service was no where near the great level it is now. In fact the experience I had was the best I’ve ever got at any Home Depot. I’ve renovated houses for over 40 years, so I’ve been to many Home Depots in my days, so I have the experience and the wounds to prove it. LOLWhen I called to get some faux wood blinds I was transferred (by cheerful person) to the curtain department. Natalie in curtains and shades answered the phone. Natalie was also very happy to help me. I told her what I needed, and she let me know that she had them in stock and she would cut the width for me. I asked her if they would cut the length, she explained that they dont, but she reassured me it’s very ez and she’d me video on how to remove the extra slats. The vidoes was very straight forward and ez to follow.I drove down there from Marlborough and met Natalie while she was helping another customer. She explained to the other customer and myself that she has a way to help us both at the same time. We both agreed that would be fine. She was amazing . She had no problem cutting the blinds in 5 minutes, and then she had me watch the video while she helped the other customer. We were both very happy. The checkout was a pleasure too. When I got home; I installed the blinds and it was a perfect fit. Please don’t lose Natalie; she’s a gem for you guys; and kudos to all of you for improving the customer service.

Suer nice staff. Home Depot is always neat and organized and staff is always helpful and nice. Lowe’s, especially the ones near here are the complete opposite. Lowe’s feels like a discount scratch and dent store compared to Home Depot.

Very bad customer service. Tried returning material from a different store and they would not take it back. The employee at the customer service desk was very rude, giving me quick responses with attitude pointing out that her manager was sitting right next to her. The manager also rude and did not solve the issue. After asking is this the type of customer service you guys give me the answer was Im just answering what youre asking . Disappointing. I visit three to four locations every single day and this was the worst experience Ive had. Horrible management.

Your carts, your lot, your liability. It used to be one of the better stores, but over the years the quality and CS have eroded.Might amend if their position changes, but so far not up to a good start. Clearly, not looking to provide a solution but rather to downplay the problem: After a few minutes in the store, we get back to the car and see a shopping cart was rammed into our door, leaving three dents and orange paint scratches all over. We ask to speak to the manager. Without clarifying that he is the manager, Roy, inertly says that all he can do is to take an incident report but those usually dont go anywhere because its an act of G-d as the carts just roll everywhere. As we ask to see the manager, Roy concedes that he is the manager but doesnt have a business card, etc.The lot is filled with shopping carts that noone services. There are cameras that they refused to check (without even asking where our car was located). Etc. Basically, the feeling we got was that they are just trying to downplay the problem and get out of it instead of addressing the problem. How could a problem get solved with this attitude? As the carts just roll all over the place and piled all over the lot, they are cleraly also not sanitized but thats a different story.

Curbside pickup service is a joke. Followed instructions in the email. Takes forever to get your order to your car. Its already prepaid and set aside ready for pickup. A customer who was in the curbside pickup spot next to me got fed up and went inside. He had to put everything on a cart and go back to his car with his order. whats the point of curbside pickup if you dont have enough staff to follow through with this service????

Staff is clueless 0 help the manager the worst. Came in spoke to tammy asked her specifically for a small generator and she sent me to where the big generators are. Waited 20 minutes for someone to help me no one ever showed up so I went back and an employee tells me they don’t sell small generators. The fact the manager doesn’t even help customers from the getco explains why their reviews are terrible!! This is not the Home Depot to try theirs plenty other stores in the area shop around!! First time here n last

I went to pick out/up items to redo our bathroom. Marsha from that department came over and was a great help. I needed to ask questions and she answered them all, resulting in a great selection. She got the items and met us at the register as the vanity and counter top were heavy. Then she came back quickly to make sure that the faucetwe selected ourselves matched the hardware metal finish of the door and draw handles. This type employee is why we keep coming back to shop at Home Depot! I am adding to this review as I got great help from Nick this time - I would have bought the wrong part but Nick was there to guid me.

4/27/21- 3:30 pm- Avoid this Home Depot- rude workers!! I wandered around the store with no one offering to help. I finally went to the self check out and told the lady I needed help in plumping. She goes “ I’ll see if someone is available.” The woman that showed up named Pam. She looked annoyed to have to help a customer. I showed her a picture of what I needed to fix- she goes well yeah what you have won’t work. I’m thinking to myself yeah that’s why I’m here. So proceeds to scoff and start handing me things. I asked her to clarify where one thing was supposed to go and she misspoke. When I confirmed with her she meant the drain she goes “oh no we aren’t going to do that.” You know what Pam we aren’t going to Home Depot again. I have a whole house to renovate and I’ll be happy to take my business to Lowe’s where they actually want to help you. If I knew what I needed I wouldn’t be here asking for help. Never again!

Peter in the bath section of the store must be having a really bad day because he was absolutely horrendous. For someone who has worked there almost 40 years you would think he could answer simple questions without all of the huffs and eye rolls. Sorry we actually tried to make you do work today. Definitely taking our business elsewhere.

Terrible service!! Bought a fridge in May and it was scheduled for delivery in June 30th. I got two calls confirming delivery and NONE ever showed up. I disconnected water line and unloaded my old fridge and my food got spoiled. None ever informed me and when I went to see manager he gave me dont care attitude. Big company they dont care about little folks. Except nails, hammers and wood, I am not buying at HomeDepot.

Home Depot refusing to match your OWN WEBSITE PRICE?I was looking for a power tool, checked Home Depot website with my zip code to make sure the price was $99. Then I Went to this store, grabbed the tool and was told by the cashier that it was $139 instead. Okay, I showed the $99 price for this store with my cell phone.Guess what? The manager came by and said the $99 was a online special price, and they would not match this price because of whatever agreement. So this became the first time I had ever heard that a local chain store would refuse to honor their online price. I attached the photo so you can see there was nowhere mentioning the online only stuff! It only said a special buy price.I know price match is a marketing gimmick, but whats the point of refusing to match your own website price? If this is really your policy, how can you convince a potential customer that you would match other store prices as you advertised?The only reasonable argument I could guess was that they might be too busy to care about my business. For this manager, it seemed to be easier to tell a customer to go away than to correct the price for him.

This is how a HD or any store should be run. Friendly, helpful, attentive. Now if the Franklin and Natick stores could be run like this I wouldnt have to drive 26 miles out of my way. Hopefully HD will take notice and get people trained in customer service.

The store has everything you need for your home. I gone to buy a tool box and couple of sprays. Good about the store is easy to find an item, the arrangements and the display. Such a big store, still I was able find what I was looking for so easily. As well as the check out. Of course pandemic time but still very smooth. Plenty of parking and very big nursery outside. Tools inventory more for professionals . overall very good experience.

Had an unfortunate experience with cashier Lori who was impatient, rude, condescending, argumentative. Had to escalate to manager Matt who did an excellent job and quickly recognized I was right and all is well now. She needs better training and more investment in coaching to be at the Home Depot standard we are all used to. I hope they help her because she is hurting HD.

Worst service I have ever seen. Ordered doors 5 months ago, each time I called they would give a date, when I go to pick the doors, they tell me a different date. The man at windows and doors desk yelled at me, could not let me talk. I decided to cancel the order, the woman at the customer service desk messed up the refund, spent 30 minutes standing waiting for her to finish. I need to call my bank to make sure my money was refunded correctly. Sad!.

Its a fantastic store, but in light of the virus all employees should be wearing face protection. You already have some other safeguards in place like the plexi glass and allowing a certain no. Of people in store at once, the last and important one for both involved is facial covering. Just wanted to share my observation stay well.

Went to this home depot for a price quote on 5 new appliances for our newly renovated kitchen. The wife and I spent nearly 45 min picking out what we need and not once has the appliance sale rep approached us. She sat there looking over and when we approached she got up and walked away. Most unprofessional employees we have ever dealt with. Took our business to team Blue and we were treated with the upmost importance. Answered all our questions, got us even a better deal buying a 5 appliance bundle with an additional discount. Took the time to bring us to the different departments and helped picked out fixtures and cabinetry lighting. Team Blue cares about their customers. This Home depot is nothing but side show attraction.

Home Depot is nice as always. I purchase a lot of items via online and in the store. Online they have much better selection and it,s free and easy to ask for in store pickup, call 30 min in advance to make sure your items are waiting for you and simply stop by and pick it up. I do suggest to verify everything is in order before signing for the online order.In general, fast and easy pickup and I never had to use their refund policy, which is 30 days for online orders.Their online store is great for DIY projects, and prices are competitive.

Its Memorial Day Weekend, a weekend to remember the military, those that have passed and present, how they are all Heros that protect us each day. I created an image will be posting on Facebook - meant to do it yesterday and got caught up with other things you do on Saturdays - its part of life. My daughter and family had given me a Home Depot card for Mothers Day. I made a list, but also like to browse and look at sale items too. Thats what I had been doingIve been fortunate to have some Heros in my life and today was the day I met Dave Bottom, my Home Depot Hero. I lost my purse/bag that had something besides money very important in it. The money, my keys to the car and our house would have been a pain to replace, then to get a ride home, but thats all beside the point, I would have figured it out.My review is that the Home Depot people are so nice. Dave took immediate control of the situation and calmed me down completely. He said well go to the courtesy desk, mentioned a name that she would help. But it was him - he listed to me and knew it was important. He reassured me that no one would leave the store with my bag and that wed find it. He made an announcement to everyone in the store and described me and my bag, detailed the bag and to bring to the courtesy desk (I think those were the words). He was very firm. Dave stayed at the front and waited to see if anyone brought to the front desk and watched people leaving the store as did other Home Depot people. I backtracked where I had been and sure enough it was on the floor next to the runner rugs I had been looking at. Im was happy to find and so grateful to My Home Depot Hero for keeping me so calm that I could remember everywhere Id been. Im almost 65, in remission from Cancer, and have chemo brain sometimes - like I did in the first place leaving the bag on the floor. I was way over looking at the wood section looking at beams to put in the backyard - make a little balance beam for my granddaughter.When I took this photo of my Hero, I asked Dave his name, where he was from, which is Boylston, and has three daughters. I think he said he was a retired school teacher or my son-in-law told me that. I had emailed his photo to my daughter and told her what happened. She showed it to Mike and he knew who Dave was. A matter of fact everyone in the store knew who Dave was. I should have asked how long hed been there. I plan to go over tomorrow with a thank you, maybe stop at Heberts first and get him something small as a token of my appreciation.Thank you Dave and Home Depot for a well run store over nice people and nice customers too - all very helpful.

Absolute worst Home Depot Ive ever been to, If I could give negative stars I would. I dont even want to go into the details because it makes me so angry, but long story short, the employees, the ones I unfortunately delt with anyway...RUDE and just down right terrible. Im not saying all their employees are like that, Im sure they have some good people working there...hopefully, but they need to filter out some people. Some of the older women working there need to find another line of work, where they can have a miserable bulldog look on their face and be rude and disrespectful.

I would leave this place less stars if I could. If you call they straight up tell you they don’t have time to help you and they will transfer you to a department that will most likely not pick up the phone. Then when you finally get someone on the phone they won’t even let you finish your question before hanging up on you. Then when you go into the store, if you ask for help finding something they tell you to check on their website! Plus the workers have no knowledge of the products they carry! Worst customer service experience in a long time! What a shame, this is exactly why I go to Lowe’s!

Ordered a dishwasher online. Very poor experience with respect to installation. Customer care do not have any empathy and the different groups are fragmented. If you are looking for a reliable service, I would recommend look for alternate options. Do not choose Home Depot.

I have a cloth that I pull up when near people, but need to leave it down otherwise. And often tailor my breath for intake when close to others.Yes. I keep it down for medical reasons. Some people really know the area of expertise to which they are assigned. Others don’t know their areas as much as they ideally should. But, the prices are OK. Compared to other such stores.They do have a great variety of items, though. However, the exact item is not always in stock. Perhaps because this store is not in proximity to the Golden Mile, as the Natick store is. So, it must be ordered in store or online. Which is a waiting process.

This is my normal big box store....but they are doing an incredibly horrible job with instore pickup. Being backed up due to Covid is understandable, but if the products are in stock (like a grill, pressure washer; etc.) and after ordering you are telling me it might take several days, thats just unacceptable and means the people in this store have no organizational skills.I just called Lowes and another Home Depot in the area and told they can process the order with all of the same items in the same day...and cancelling the order with Shrewsbury.

HECTOR!!!I have got to say Hector in gardening at the Shrewsbury Home Depot has got to be the best person I have ever worked with to purchase anything, anywhere ! I needed some particular trees at a certain size which they did not have in stock. Hector got the trees I needed and made it happen FAST ! Plus Hector has to be one of the nicest, happiest people on the planet! Home Depot you have a gem here!

I love the new locker system where you can order and pay online then just pick it up in the lobby! No people to argue with. Its great. Yo oh get a code either texted to you or emailed. Enter that at the box. Sign you name and off you go. Its a great feature!

I came here for paint after a poor experience at another store. It was a weekend so the store was packed and incredibly busy, yet they only had ONE paint person at the desk. The line was long and the man behind the counter was doing the best he could but management should have planned better. When it was my turn, the man greeted me with a smile and helped me quickly and as efficiently he could. Poor guy was drowning. I’m rating this based off of customer experience.

Hit or miss when it comes to customer service. Sometimes you get employees that are very helpful and have positive personalities and sometimes you get employees that just cant be bothered. Seems like they struggle to keep a good staff. As far as product goes I always buy a couple extra of whatever Im getting because many times something comes broken or missing parts.

They wont honor prices shown online. I even showed the clerk on THEIR computer, and they refused to honor the price. This was a difference of about $20, on a couple hundred dollar item...Online it claims you can pickup, yet they wont really have it ready for at least 2-3 days, even with everything in stock. Good of them to let you wait app day, then call to follow up, before telling you. How about updating the website?

The people there were very helpful they help me get the bags of fertilizer. Limestone and a plant and it got it into my truck for me. But it is always worth the trip to Home Depot because they help me getting my material and putting it in the vehicle for me God bless you all
