Our refrigerator was finally delivered after over a month. The refrigerator we ordered had only a few small dents on the side (I took pictures). The one that was delivered had a big dent and scratch on the front door by the water dispenser. I would have never ordered it if it had such a big obvious dent. Did they switch refrigerators or did someone in the back dent it while it waited for over month to be delivered. Dont waste your money here. Go to a reputable store and pay a little more.UPDATE: Dont believe it when they leave a comment someone will contact you. It doesnt happen. They could have at least looked at the pictures I sent and gave me some kind of explanation and apology. NOTHING! Like I said earlier, go to a reputable store and get your appliances. Dont get deceived like I did!

We bought a sofa and the quality is terrible. The actual frame is crooked so the cushions do not site correctly no matter what you do. There were staples protruding we had to hammer down to prevent getting poked or cut. There are some we cannot hammer down and are poking through the lining of the couch I to the cushions so they will eventually rip if we choose to sit on that side. So 1/2 the sofa is useless. Seems dont meet in the corners so stuffing and wood are both exposed. Also, they continues to withdraw funds for 3 months AFTER the sofa was paid for. They would Not respond to calls and emails for 6 weeks. They finally called to refund our money after I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau Do not buy anything from these people especially if you are financing it. Terrible quality and service.

Well the sales team seem to be very friendly and helpful. After the sale when youre waiting to pickup your order it seems is when things dont seem to go as well. Purchased some furniture and was told they are stored in containers behind the location and that I would be able to pick them up in 3 or 4 days. Day 4 passed and had not received any call saying items were ready for pickup. On day 5 I called and was told they are short handed and if I didnt get the items that weekend it would most likely be the following week. It has now been almost another week and I called again to check on my items. I got the same short handed story, which I totally understand with all things going on these days, except now I dont even know now if I might get the items in a couple more days or a couple more weeks. These items were purchased because they were on hand and I wasnt going to have to wait 6-8 weeks or more for a special order.. Now Im not sure if I will still end up waiting that long. So if you cant walk out the store with the item in hand the day you purchase it, be careful of how long you may have to wait in order to get it.UPDATE:So last Monday I called again and got theshort handed thing again but they would pull my order on Tuesday and they would call me when I can pick up. Got no call but then later in the week I got the response to this review from the district manager which you see posted below. After a couple emails with him he escalated the issue. I got a call Saturday telling me they will be pulling my order on Sunday and they would call for me to pick it up either Sunday or Monday. It is now Wednesday and I have yet to recieve any call. Yes I could continue to harass them and get my order but part of me wants to see how long it takes them the do this. Lucky I didnt remove my old furniture yet.UPDATE 2: Got a call saying it is ready to pick up.. Finally...

I purchased a fridge online during tax free weekend, Saturday morning around 830am to be precise and yet the item was sold in person to someone else in the following day. And I found out about this almost a week late while waiting my shipment to arrive. Very poor management, we couldn’t find another similar fridge and wasted a lot of time

I would give 0 Star. My husband and I went the store for our first time on labor day weekend 2019 ( Saturday)looking for a refrigerator and after we found few options (40 minutos in the store looking) I asked twice for someone to help us, they said all the 3 workers was helping customers already, we waited for 1 more hour and nobody helped us. My husband and I decided to leave the store without being helped and nobody cares and the store wasnt busy and full of costumer either. I wont be back here. Very poor costumer service also mostly refrigerators in really bad condition comparing with the price asked. Better purchase a brand new one and get a good costumer service for it.

Do your research! Seen a horribly damaged refrigerator. Googled the model number and found I could buy the exact same one brand new for cheaper than theyre price! The best part was the big sign stating 40% off. I asked the salesman just to be certain that the price advertised was after the 40% off which he confirmed. LoL what a joke. Wont be long till the For Lease signs are in the windows.

DONT EVER WORK FOR THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY!! This is a zero star review. Im a former employee and last March when the pandemic first started I told my store manager Craig Celitti of Shrewsbury Ma location that I wasnt gonna be coming to work for a little while to protect my health and safety. And all he did was text me non stop in the following months saying when are you coming back to work, when are you coming back to work, when are you coming back to work . Him and the rest of this company clearly dont give a damn about human health, safety and life for that matter. Just a bunch of greedy SOBS that will actually try to force you to work no matter what, even during the worst health crisis this country has seen in a 100 years

This is negative one star. I purchased a dishwasher. Show up to pick it up only to be told extremely rudly to go to the back of the store to ring a buzzer. After heading back there and ringing Sai buzzer I stood there and waited for about 15 minutes while the same person walked back and forth making eye contact with me and not once asking if I was being taken care of. Finally when someone did show up the told me to wait until he was done getting another order ready then that person would assist me. Another 15 minutes pass and im Finally assisted. Then it took over 20 minutes to locate a dishwasher that I was told was ready for pickup. I just dont understand how customer service is viewed by this company but clearly its lacking.

I have shopped here multiple times and I have always been pleasantly surprised with the selection. The staff is knowledgeable and I feel confident about the selection of appliances. Every time I go in there I feel welcomed and that I can always find what I need. When I purchased my portable dishwasher here I was surprised about the quality. Also Charlie and his team are really proud of what they sell. I made sure to get the protection plan and I know if I have any questions I can call them. I will definitely be coming here for any and all of my home appliance needs in the future.

Ive been a home owner for about 15 years, and Ive never purchased an appliance anywhere other than the Sears Outlet in Shrewsbury, MA. I always had a great experience there. Its now a similar business rebranded as American Freight, and its an extended warranty scam. The sales guy basically told me, in not so many words, that everything in the store was junk, even the high end items, that none of it would last more than a couple years, and that he didnt feel comfortable selling me anything unless I purchased the extremely expensive service plan. I was interested in a $750 dryer, and the service plan was close to $300. I walked out and Ill never be back.

In November (2019) I purchased a refrigerator at the Shrewsbury Sears outlet. Shortly thereafter i encountered a few problems with the item.I phoned the Shrewsbury Sears Outlet, and shortly thereafter I received a return phone call from Craig the Sears manager. Craig immediately took the bull by the horns. he asked me to describe the problem I was having. His response was immediate come in to the store at your convenience and choose a replacement refrigerator, no ands, ifs, or buts. Immediately after Christmas, I met with Craig and he did everything and I mean everything to provide some of the best customer service I have ever had anywhere.He replaced my refrigerator, he reissued the extended warranty, and he provided complimentary delivery. He was kind, knowledgeable, thorough and totally customer oriented. he was fantastic!I also want to compliment his assistant manager Charlie. Charlie assisted me when I purchased the original refrigerator. He gave me great advice and encouraged me to purchase the extended warranty...What a management team!! The best!

Yes a good place to find a dented appliance at a reasonable price. Low stars for the customer service. Salesman clearly was clueless about dishwashers, told me things that were definitely not correct as I had done my homework in advance. I highly recommend you research brands and models in advance and do not count on the salesman. We were told the GE dishwashers did not come with a year warranty so we went with a Kenmore. Salesman told us that all dishwashers nowadays come with a plug in and we foolishly took his word for it and when we got home we discovered it was just wires and no plug.

We have always found super great deals here on major appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher) Yes, its a scratch and dent outlet but the blemishes are often very minor and the appliances work perfectly. If you dont care that the appearance is absolutely perfect you can save gobs of money buying here.Be sure to do your homework, though. Just like everywhere else some appliances are lower quality and lower reliability than others. Caveat emptor!

I bought a $4000 mattress for $560! You cant beat the prices. This is a great place to go for smaller appliances - fantastic selection and prices and you wont have to wait for delivery. I didnt have problems with delivery but I do live only 5-10 minutes away. I bought a mattress and box spring. The box spring didnt fit up my stairs (small stairway, not their fault) so I had to send it back, which was no problem for the delivery guys. But they did tell me I had to bring my receipt back to get my credit for the box spring back. Fortunately this is not a problem for me, but I would understand how this would be really inconvenient for people living far away. It is also pretty hard to get someone on the phone (dont call right when they open or you might wait a while!). I think this is because they are understaffed. They need to deal with in-store customers at a higher priority than people making phone calls in. There are some pretty inconvenient things about this place but if you are willing to put up with a little inconvenience you might just save $3440 on a mattress like I did 😁

Bought a fridge. Two weeks after we got it home the freezer temp was going up and down. Called and talked to Chris who was great and had us bring the fridge back. We didn’t purchase extended coverage or anything. We went back and worked with Craig. He brought us around looked over several refrigerators pulled them out found a better than comparable unit. This was an excellent experience and we appreciate the service we received. Only four stars since the first one broke on us. We will be back.

I purchased a dishwasher and also paid Sears for delivery, hauling and installation. When the installer came in he asked for $155 for extension pipe, hammer arrestor and permit. Sears did not mention any of these additional charges. Very disappointed. I could have compared with another company for installation if I knew the full price ahead of time.

When I arrived at store I immediately found what I was looking for - A clothes dryer within my budget. A sales agent approached me and asked me if I had any questions - I asked if the dryer was energy star rated. She said they did not make electric dryers that way so I took her on her word and was about to tell her I would purchase it when another customer interrupted us and asked a question. They both just walked away to another part of the store. I followed after 1 minute and asked her why she just left me when I was about to make a purchase and she directed me to another sales associate. (The customer she was helping was buying plastic storage bins with covers) - The other sales associate told me he was busy with a customer and would be for at least another hour. So I stood in plain sight of both of them for a half hour (most of the time was taken by my original sales associate to finalize the sale on 5 plastic storage bins to the other customer - yes i was able to count them and watch the whole transaction) Finally it was my turn again and after 30 minutes I was the proud owner of a dryer. I took it home and connected it and .... IT DID NOT WORK! I am currently typing this while waiting for someone at the store to pick up the phone (After 5 minutes of ringing it goes to a busy signal and you have to call back -been trying for 30 minutes now) - If you can get past the very poor service you can find a deal but make sure they prove to you that it works! So far two days of my time and effort to save 350$ off list just doesnt seem worth it now - cause I am going to bring it back (another day and 60 miles of gas wasted) and buy a new one from Home Depot.They are sooooooo bad I just dont understand how they stay in business. BTW - They still havent answered the phone

In October my husband and I purchased a Fridge and a Dishwasher. When it arrived at our house the ice maker tray was missing. I called from work the following week and spoke to a Ray and he said that he couldnt help without the item and model number. I then called the following week, and spoke to a Chris at the store and when I explained the situation he said no problem I will order it right now for you. I waited about three weeks and called again. I explained to the person who answered the phone that the item did not arrive. He went looking for Chris in the store and came back with the 800 number for parts. I called number and spoke to several people until a Karen finally ordered the part for me and apologize for the run around. She said that no order was placed for us and that all the pertinent info was already on file they just didnt want to take the time. Horrible customer service.

I found a dishwasher I wanted online and was told I would receive an email confirming it was in stock at this store and available for pickup. I never received an email and upon calling the store and speaking to a manager, I was told she would check on it and call me back. I never received that call. I called again and the rep said that if I did not get an immediate email, they did not have it in stock. I was subsequently charged for the item anyway. Called again and was told my account would be credited. It never was and I am now disputing the charge through my credit card company. I am angry that I was repeatedly told something from this store that was not true. I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

Dont take Amex anymore. Pressure you into getting the extended warrantee that they wont honor or will take forever to get someone to you to make the repair. Their computer systems are so antiquated it may take several laborious times to complete your order. SI agree with others that shipping is a joke,: I am now without appliances because the delivery never showed up nor did they call us to let us know they were not coming. Manager wouldnt answer phone so we drove 40 miles to the store and confronted personally (a $3500 order for 3 apartments), He said he would do everything possible to get them to us ASAP and get us a discount for the cost of the plumber, electrician, laborers, and contractor we had there waiting. We are still waiting and the manager hasnt been taking or returning our calls. This has been a very expensive discount purchase.

My husband and I recently purchased all our appliances for our new home at the Sears outlet in Shrewsbury MA. We first just wanted a Counter-depth refrigerator and an Induction cooktop that we had seen advertised. This being our first experience at this store we did not know what to expect, we were are very satisfied to say the least. The sales associate (Tru) was very helpful and so knowledgeable about the different features we were looking for. He was very patient and went out of his way to answer all our questions. We had planned to purchase the rest of our appliances at another home supplies store however, we ended up making a second trip to Sears Outlet in Shrewsbury and purchased everything there. We went with the Kenmore Elite Brand for all our home appliances based on our research from friends and online reviews (e.g., Consumer report). In the last 3 weeks or so, we have made several trips to this branch I must say have been so satisfied with the service we receive each time we go. Tru and the store manager (Chris H.) have been so helpful. So far, our wall ovens and dishwasher have been installed they look beautiful... we have received so many compliments already.Tim & Jess

I bought a washer, dryer, and table for my new apartment that was suppose to be delievered on Friday, Sears delivered the washer and table but never delievered the dryer. I was told by both the delievery guys and the customer service repersenative over the phone that it was a mistake and it would be delievered tomorrow. I never got a call that night to give me a delievery time, but I took the day off work to wait for the delivery. I then got a call that morning saying the order was delayed and would not be delievered, when I called to find out when it would be shipped, I was told it would be the next day. Having taken the day off I could not afford to take another. I told them I would pick it up at the store myself. The agent said that I could not pick up the dryer even though I had alread paid for it. I went to the store anyways and had a manager get the same dryer from the back room. This took a whole 2 hours at the store just to pick up the dryer I paid for! Seeing as how the delivery service I paid for didnt ever finish the job, I demanded half the delievery fee back, this simple transaction still took an entire hour to complete. After picking it up and installing it myself, I still have been getting calls from Sears saying the order to pick up a dryer from my apartment was going to be delayed. There is never at any time an order to pick up anything from my apartment, so why is that all of a sudden something they have called about. They have been calling now for about 5 days straight about dropping off and picking up a different order of something every day at least 4 times a day. I have spoke with customer service every single time, explaining what happened and to get the calls to stop, but I still get calls, everyday, sometimes just an hour after I spoke witht them. None of the call repersenatives will connect me to a manager or supervisor, and still this has not been resolved. I will never buy from Sears ever again and will advise anyone considering to make a purchase to go somewhere else. This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with and only wish there was a way to actually get what you paid for, at the time it was agreed on. Sears obviously does not care. The only thing offered to me is some kind of free consulation. (AKA let some stranger into your home and have them tell you what you should buy from Sears) This is an embarrassing and rather insulting gesture and goes to show exactly how Sears is willing to treat their customers.

Im extremely disappointed. just drove 30 mins to get here and the hours online day this store is open until 9pm on Sunday and the hours posted on the door day it closes at 7pm. Time to update your Google account sears.
