My cashier was so friendly and fast that I even went go the front desk to let her boss know.

I was pleasantly surprised on this particular visit that there were cashiers open!!! I was grateful because I had a really full cart and self checkout, although nice for small hauls, would have been a nightmare on this visit. I found some items like bakery bread rolls out of stock, but was happy with all other selections.

Only 2 check outs open. Waited in line 25 minutes to check out. Ridiculous!!!! This was at 5 p.m. on a weekday. Shelves needed to be stocked. They keep moving things around. Cant find anything anymore. Aggravating.

Store is always a mess. Associates show little to no care, if they are available.Store management has failed to maintain standards in the store in all areas from associates to in-stock to cashiers at any given time of day. Expect to wait awhile at the registers since it is rare to have more than 2 at a prime shopping time.The store leadership needs to hold themselves accountable for the lack of care and standards in the store and build a better team of associates. There should not be pallets of product in the middle of aisles during a weekend or anytime.Do better! You are one of the busiest stores in the area with many competitors around you and the lack of basic standards is unacceptable.

Ive ordered weekly groceries from here for over a year and have only had 1 problem prior with moldy produce being packed for me. Until now. The last 3 pickups over the course of a month Ive gotten 9 moldy sweet potatoes, a rotten exploded apple, moldy beets and the worst being this broken and completely molded out applesauce. Hard to miss if youre even paying a little bit of attention to what youre grabbing. Moldy produce is annoying, but the applesauce was downright DISGUSTING. Please fix this issue.

I had a interesting experience at Walmart. Before I go farther, let me clarify, the service writer/ technicians at the automotive motive department get 6/5 stars, they are understaffed, underpaid, extra sweet and you’ll some how convinced them to stay with your company. It’s the management that has issues.While waiting for my truck to be finish, I witnessed one of the older technicians struggling to move a pallet of tires upstairs. He asked for help from his manager. I literally watch this “manager” guy help him move 4 tires only. Then he walked away to go talk to someone about his personal life in the back office across the register counter. I was angry for this older man, who to me looks 4 times the managers age and he’s doing 10 times the work. #twilightzone

Best Walmart in the area and more presentable than most. And that means alot. Another hidden secret (like Target) is some items priced are way discounted than whats actually displayed in store. Keep a look out for that so you can get some deals...especially on toys. Usually when I check out it reflects the discounted online price without having to override with a supervisor.

Super easy as always, their app is helpful to find what isle certain items are in.

Usually an okay experience at this Walmart, but I bought milk last week and went to drink it today and it expired a month ago. That means that clearly they’re not checking the freshness of their products or pulling expired product. It was the first thing of milk in the cooler, that’s absolutely disgusting. I would give a zero if it was allowed. my complaint isn’t towards this location it’s towards Walmart in general. I have been disappointed in Walmart before but never as much as I have been disappointed today. I placed a grocery pick up September 23. My order was canceled. Not because of me, but because of Walmart system was down. It is now October 4 and I still don’t have my money. When I called the night my order cancelled, no one answered. When I called the next morning no one answered at this Shorewood location. I never received an email saying my order was canceled. Once I drove back to Walmart they told me my order was canceled due to System glitch. I called Walmart and they said I will be refunded within 24 to 48 hours. I had to re-order all the items and pay for them again while still not receiving my refund. I have called multiple times and my account has been escalate four times. The last time which is today I’ve been on the phone for almost anhour. I was still told it may take 24 to 48 hours I have gotten the same message multiple times, without any action. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they had me on hold for 30 minutes never connecting me. I had to get off the phone but I told him I will be calling back. Although, I still don’t have my refund they said is in the process of being refunded and that process started September 28 but I still don’t have my money to go shopping

Shorewood Walmart is just for convenience. The lines are way too long and items arent placed nicely on the shelf.

Particularly impressed by the friendliness of the staff here. Not sure what it was, but theres a particular vibe in this store and its not like many of the others. These folks appreciate their customers and show it.Store was clean, well laid out, neat and orderly. Got everything I needed in a short span of time and was able to get in and out.

The only reason why you got 5 stars is for cleanliness and customer service, however, if you are requiring customers wear a mask then your employees should wear them correctly

Its dirty and all the employees yelled across the aisles to each other. My cashier asked for someone to do the liquor and the woman just ignored hrr. When she finally came over she just sauntered over. Didnt even walk..She had all the time in the world to do nothing..This store is horrible now. I go to Jewel instead. I only went there to get beer.

Its a Walmart. Its pretty much as one would expect. Usually some store section is being renovated. Usually another section is being relocated. Depending on the day, certain foods will be out of stock. Staff is aloof.

How could they afford their greeters? They are exceptionally rude and only speak to those they personally favor, especially when certain demographics, such as age, gender, race, et cetera, mirror their own. As a middle-aged, White male, I also expect to be graciously greeted at the door by these highly paid employees (and they are better paid than I, a manager at a neighborhood convenience store). Im considering taking my business to Target, instead.

Walmart has a good selection of products especially the grocery. I can finds things here that my usual grocery store doesnt have. I come here also for yarn or other craft supplies if I need just a few things. Their sundries is pretty good too, shampoo, sunscreen, etc.I dropped a star because their checkout lanes staffed by humans are the slowest thing EVER. There has never been a quick cashier check out for me. They are ridiculously slow. But, there are a lot more self checkouts now so I use those.

Fast and friendly service. Employees dont have much knowledge of where everything is but at least they tell you they have no clue with a smile on their face

No handicap carts available. Found one in the parking lot that the battery was decently charged. Then waited in line for 10 minutes only to have the checkout girl / b%#& turn off her light and tell me shes closing. This was around 10:45am on a Monday. This place needs A LOT more help! No other lines open except for express line. Had to go to self checkout line. Very difficult to bring handicap cart close to a scanner. Had to get off cart and do a lot of twisting and turning. My back was in agony when I left. If I could rate this store a zero I would.

Selection for many items was very low or non-existent. Guess its a sign of the times these days, as you see this in other stores as well. Only one full service register open, and about 70% of the self serve registers open with a waiting line. Dont know why them have all the full service ones since they are never staffed.

I hope you do share this!! I am tired of there only being 2 registers open and the rest self serve. Senior citizen here with pace maker, a diabetic and a tear in my meniscus. Today I hoped to get my shopping done but the lines were super long. My alarm was going off to take my medicine. No one answers the phone at Walmart. I walked up to Customer service, they apologized only...nothing they could do. I asked if they could call someone off the floor to be a backup register person. No..no one answers there call. By the time (20 minutes) Is passed...your ice cream is melting and your frozen foods are beginning to thaw. I have been their customer since they opened this store but the quality of service has declined and no one cares. I left them my full shopping cart and I will not shop WALMART EVER AGAIN!

The best Walmart ive ever been in. I was looking for totes and ran into an employee name Evan from Kankakee. He said if I write a review to make sure I add the Kankakee. Anyways, I asked my questions and he answered each one! I was so stunned I said, I dont this type of service a lot. He replied, Because you never suppose to let a customer think youre too busy for them. Give them all your attention until theyre satisfied! Unfortunately, I didnt get the totes I was looking for but got an amazing person to ease my search! Overall, this store was clean like no crates of unfinished items everywhere LBVS. Everyone was working. Best part was not one employee was rude that converse with me!

The layout of this walmart was so weird. I couldnt find anything. Went 2 days in a row and couldnt even get a buggy. The staff was nice, and the employee at the Murphys on the property was very informative about their rewards program.

Store is clean and typically there are friendly greeters. Frustrating part is it is very rare to find an employee on the floor (in any department) if you need help or have a question. Only a couple check outs are open whenever Im there and theres always a long wait as cashiers are unusually slow (also not very friendly) so usually end up at the do it yourself registers whether I have 5 items or 25 items. I still prefer this store over other locations in my area as Ive really been disappointed at the lack of cleanliness Ive found. I buy groceries multiple times each week and find the majority of the time I willingly drive to my Plainfield Jewel/Osco where it may cost me a bit more but the experience is so much more pleasant, employees are customer oriented and available and stores are neat, clean and organized.

This location is NOT 24 hours, please dont be mislead as im traveling and googled an open grocer near me. I arrived at 540am attempting to enter, This location opens at 6am and employees have precedent parking and it could easily seem as if they are open, with employees parking as customers Employees should still not occupy entire front entry parking spaces as they do at this location. Closests parking to entrance is typically reserved for shoppers. Except bot here

Sorry but I do not Believe that they ate stocking at night all the aisles filled with product not a very safe place any more have seen people trip over this mess. They bring to much stock out and have little or none working it. Shelves are bare or almost bare.

Went in for the fur zapper, checked out the pets section...nothing, checked the laundry section...nothing. I then asked an associate, he told me to go check the pet section, 🙄 I instead went to the customer service desk and asked for help. The associate was not pleased to help, however her supervisor had just came around and over heard me asking where it was at and then she asked the associate if she knew how to use Ask Sam, the supervisor gave her verbal instructions on how to find it, which she did. The item was in H49-4.....the associate then tells me to go back to pets and it should be there....lucky for me I just followed the letters and it was actually in the Home section....that is what the H stands for. Needless to say when looking for help at Walmart just look for it yourself.

This is a big WalMart. The staff does not seem as well trained as other Walmarts and often will not great you when they see you in an aisle. Also, everyone takes breaks out front at the same time, leaving the store almost empty. But these are problems with the management, not the staff. Still, its a good selection at good prices.

I am sorry to say, other than prescriptions I will not be shopping at Walmart. The new policy of self check-out is not for me. I am not going to scan and bag a basket full of groceries and then if it doesnt scan right you are now waiting again. Lines are too long at the cashiers and people are getting crabby. I went to buy something fo my dad for Fathers Day and almost of the racks were empty.

They have barely any groceries, pop or supplies for home. Barely any spray paint. So sad

The cart collectors leave carts in the corrals for extended periods leaving few cars for shoppers to use. They are also very dependent on the self checkout only keeping one or two registers open even during busy times. Mediocre service at best.

Just did a curbside pickup order and it was an excellent experience! The order was ready earlier than promised, which was nice, and the employee who brought it out was super helpful and very pleasant. It was fast and very convenient!

The one im Joliet had trouble getting help. When I found someone she told me the item was discontinued. I lnew my items were just out of stock!

Love there quick check out services that they have. The ladies that work there when I shop are very helpful and very polite at the self check always willing to go the extra mile which is prefect when you are in a rush love this walmart would definitely go again..

They have tbis natural weed control to kill weeds but does not harm the lawn... we love it!

I used to work for this location from 2008-2011 and then from 2012-2016. This store seems like it improved quite a bit but maybe bc I went in the daytime. A friend of mine, like a sister took my son and I along with her. My son liked riding up top in the shopping cart. He was able to look around at all the customers and employees outside of his car seat. Those young people from the CAP team were really working hard in there breaking those pallets down and staging all the merchandise to stock. The store was jam packed and out of some items but it wasnt too bad, surprisingly....

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE at its best! Im recently in the Shorewood Walmart looking for an item in the food dept. and had asked a associate for help finding the item and was told to hold on only to be ignored and as I continued to look for another associate non were around! The shelves are constantly out of stock on so many items and it makes it frustrating to get a positive experience from shopping at the Shorewood Walmart!!! I will start driving further to the 127th & Rt59 Walmart seeing that they seem to have a wider selection and seldom run out. I will be boycotting the Shorewood Walmart and letting family and friends know what my experience has been with this store.
