I have a rare low mileage old school Honda that unfortunately developed some rust.Called Auto Restoration of Long Island to make an appointment to get a quote, the guy on the phone dismissed me and said the car was junk, they dont work on imports, the sheet metal is flimsy, dont waste his time or my money on it... heh, wow.I didnt ask for this guys opinion, and frankly its none of his business what I want to spend my money on. Not that it matters but the car is worth over $20k if the rust were repaired, but apparently that is not valuable enough for their time.Also, sometimes its not about the money. I was willing to pay twice the value of the car to fix this specific one if necessary.Anyway, I guess make sure your car is worth at least six digits and is made in America before calling this place.

Absolutely Blown Away! I got exactly what I asked for. I received exceptional advice and customer service from Chuck and his team. Truly amazing from beginning to end. Extremely helpful and attentive. All of the guys there are very cool. I would definitely recommend these guys for anything you need done to any vehicle. Im so glad I had them do my restoration. You create pretty much anything you could ever want for your vehicle in its appearance, sound system, performance, and more.

So happy with the results. I was looking to rebuild my fathers dream car for his second wedding and the results are impeccable. They rebuilt a 1957 Cadillac convertible. I honestly couldnt be more pleased especially how it worked out in the time frame I needed it. The body and floors are very solid and straight, no rust!! The body and paint look great lots of New Chrome bumpers and tail lights all glistening!! Looks and runs like a beauty everything works as it should. new power brakes system tuned to perfection quiet and smooth.........just like I remember it when I was a kid. The paint looks great!! I took my 67 Firebird here. I brought it in to replace the wiring harness and do a mechanical inspection. Upon removing the carpet we noticed tons of rust, so I asked them to dig deeper. We ended up doing a full restoration and rebuilding the car from the ground up. These guys do phenomenal engine work, upholstery, chrome, electrical, performance upgrades, anything you name it! very satisfied! Thank you for a great experience.

I called Auto Restoration of Long Island after seeing positive reviews online for much needed mechanical work on my Torino. The owner, Chuck let me bring the car in on the same day and they went to work. The car was thoroughly inspected by the team and a long list of repairs were done which included engine, suspension, brakes and exhaust, among other things. The car was ready in a short time and the vehicle is operating the way it should and sounds great. I am pleased with the work.

Fantastic job blasting my vette. They put it on a rotisserie for me and blasted everything. Not to forget, that they did it in a timely matter. None of my panels were warped. Brand New fuel injected 6.1L Hemi crate engine, TKO 5-speed transmission, Rear suspension, Double adjustable coil over shocks, Front suspension and Hydraulic clutch. I took my 1953 Ford F-100 to these guys and the. Perfect two tone paint job. They put in a small block Chevy 410 c engine detailed top to bottom, backed by a 350 turbo automatic trans. Mustang front suspension with Bilstein shocks. Truck rides on Foose Nitrous wheels. Interior looks like new with racing seats. I am so ecstatic to get my car back on track. I cannot thank these guys enough. Awesome shop and employees. I would recommend to any one looking for some serious upgrades.

Amazing experience. This shop is extremely knowledgeable and will find a way to make it happen. When youre a person with a specific custom vision with your car this is the place. I took my 72 El Camino into the shop and was incredibly impressed with the way Chuck and his staff treated me. These guys are right to the point with the get it done attitude. Solid work and very clean too! The fit of the sheetmetal, shine of the brightwork, and liner paint in the bed really show off an attention to detail. Supercharged V8 power, forged pistons, AFR aluminum heads, four-barrel carburetor, and long tube headers feeding the H-pipe dual exhaust. Top notch job! I will be back for sure!

When I first got my 73 Mustang convertible, I tried a number of shops in Long Island for upgrades and repairs. I was not happy with the quality of work that I got from most places. Then Auto Restorations of Long Island was referred to me. They have done all repairs small and large from replacing the top raise and lower switch to a complete 351C engine rebuild bored 0.020 over with new crank, performance cam, Edelbrock Performer manifold, and Holley carb. Chuck is fantastic and performs only the highest quality work and uses the best parts. Now Auto Restorations is the only place I go when I want to do work on my baby. Thanks guys!

Just picked up my Malibu SS Convertible. Installed aluminum LS 6.2L V-8 wearing L92 heads and intake transfers. Other mechanical upgrades include custom headers and stainless dual exhaust with crossover pipe and Stainless Works mufflers, an aluminum radiator, power steering and C4 power disc brakes. Also, new Hydro boost master cylinder. The Carbon fiber look on the Classic dash looks great!New Auto Meter gauges excellent chrome and bright work. Beautiful paint job! Excellent body work and fit/finish looks amazing! Very satisfied Chuck and the team did an amazing job! I own a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda Resto Mod and I am truly lucky to have found Auto Restorations of Long Island. Chuck and his crew can handle any level of work. Great work at the right price. They did a great job installing a new AC, Brushed aluminum instrument panel and replaced the steering column. Under the scallop hood they replaced my engine with a 410 CI of Chrysler LA-series small-block power. Also, they topped it with a Mopar M1 aluminum intake. Brand new Headers and dual exhaust, giving it a respectable rumble! They also replaced my interior and added Braum racing seats. The body has been carefully refinished matching the original paint perfectly.They did absolutely incredible work with my car, and they were a joy to work with! Ive already recommended them to several friends of mine who also have classic cars. Thank you guys for your excellent service. If you need repairs or custom mods this is the place.

Chuck you need to pay your bills, transported a car to you and you wrote a check that has bounced. Multiple phone calls and you have yet to make good on the money you owe.
