I am in this store literally 3-4 times a week. EVERY SINGLE ASSOCIATE I have ever encountered here has been pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional.Seems quite likely that most of the negative reviews here are from...how can I say this politely...unpleasant customers.

Never again will I use Walgreens. Your multiple irresponsible stores and lack of customer service and the total disrespect of everyone working in the pharmacy department is unbelievable. At every store you have a phone system that should not even exist because it is useless. We have experienced multiple incidents of being hung up on by individuals and by your phone system after being on hold for 30 mins or 1, 2 hours per call; Not having a call answered after trying for hours; Failure to refill meds that are on auto refill because your system is a complete joke and does not reorder meds that are scheduled to be filled or refilled on your laughable auto refill service in time to fill the order as needed by the due dates. The CEO of Walgreens Corporation will be hearing from our family and you have lost our business for good. I will also make sure to spread the good word to all of our community and beyond.

I usually go inside to pick up my prescriptions. When there are 1/2 dozen cars at the drive thru I dont understand why people complain about slow service. If you would get out of the car and go inside you would see that often theres one person covering the drive thru and The counter. I have never had a problem here. The employees are kind, considerate and helpful every time.

They are very slow to get RX’s ready. Sometimes you have to circle the building more than once. Most of the employees are nice, some more friendly than others. The pharmacist seems knowledgeable. We don’t have many choices with our insurance plan, and this is where we have to trade unless we do mail order.

It is the worst Walgreens I have ever used in my life and Ive used many across the eastern us they NEVER answer phones they NEVER have ur scripts ready they NEVER have enough employees always a huge wait time and horrible customer service and thats also in the store part as well

Well could not get my medicine, was told to have my prescription moved else were. They are under a federal investigation per pharmacy tech and pharmacist. 🤦‍♂️ for dispensing to many narcotics. There supply has been cut off……

Held just now on the phone waiting for someone to speak to me they kept picking up and putting me back on hold for 20 minutes and never spoke to me! Then someone picked up again and just hung up on me!! Sorry service!

Awful Service in the pharmacy. People standing around talking while people wait. I think it is just this location. I have been to others that are fine. Assistant Manager said the Manager is never here and he admitted the pharmacy is a mess.

Unprepared for COVID vaccinesThey tell you to fill out the vaccine form before you come in, then when you come in they say that the form on the web site is the wrong one. But it is a complex form.They say to come 15 minutes early. But then you find that they have not increased staffing so you could wait an hour.Overall, if it was not life or death I would never come here.

My question is WHY does it take soooooo long.. went in this morning got skipped In line..lady had a return..it literally took 30 minutes.. cashier had to call a manager that took forever..then just left again..waited another 20 minutes on the manager to bring change...do not expect to be in and out..it will not happen 😉

30 minutes waiting at the drive through with 3 cars in front of me. It should only take a minute or two a car to pay and pickup medicine. Something needs to be done to fix this. I feel like every time I come here it’s like this. Will be filling at a different pharmacy after this visit.

Had to make a return. The associate at the checkout was less than pleasant as they complained the whole time for having to process the return and for being short-staffed. Apparently, the item wasnt even supposed to be on the shelf yet because it was a Christmas item, so it wasnt rang up correctly when I bought it; however, it was this same associate that rang it up like that in the first place! Not my fault you put it on the shelf - if it wasnt meant to be out yet, just say so and dont sell it. And its not my fault youre short-staffed, either. Be professional. Associate eventually had to get the manager involved because they almost tried to refund me the wrong price just to speed up the process. 15 minutes later, I walked out with my money back, but I wont be visiting this location again any time soon.

I switched pharmacies just so I wouldnt have to deal with these clowns. Now my insurance wont cover my prescriptions anymore unless I use Walgreens. Cant use the drive thru because it takes 30 minutes to get your prescriptions, and its just as slow inside too. So then I use the home delivery option but they never ship my prescriptions on time; so I run out of medicine, have to go to Walgreens anyways now to get a short supply to last until my prescription does come in the mail. This happened all the time. Now I have to deal with it again. BTW, forcing people to use a preferred pharmacy by their insurance instead of letting them get their medication from a pharmacy that is reliable and of their choosing should be illegal.

Sat in line 30 minutes to be told it will be at least another 30 minutes. I never had this issue with Rite Aid. They are never on time. I have had to go to another store in Gastonia 40 minutes away before. HIRE SOME MORE PEOPLE and better management.

Ungodly slow pharmacy, incompantant at best, go to a different walgreens, 45+ min. evertime in the drive thru and your prescription will hardly ever be correct …. how does this pharmacy at this location still have customers? im switching

Slow service and then they are out of my meds? i get partial refills and that confuses the insurance when i return to refill the rest! Then the place is so messy in the back areas where they fill the prescriptions makes me nervous about cleanliness and safety of my refills. I am switching back to CVS or Ingles asap.

I have been going to this Walgreens for 6 months now. I have 4 scripts that I have filled there, and each month its the same thing, they mess up my order on 3 of the 4 scripts or there out of the drug that I need. Most of the time when I go to pick up my script, Ill have to end up waiting almost an hour, even after I have been called that they are ready to go. Just about had it with them and will be shopping my scripts around to fine someplace that can actually do the work right the first time.

Big idea: Do not choose a pharmacy to commit your monthly prescriptions to such as Walgreens on West Dixon Boulevard.Choose a pharmacy like CVS at the corner of 74 and 226.Do not choose a pharmacy like this Walgreens pharmacy that is wildly inconsistent with monthly prescriptions and information about medicines and general knowledge of current medicine and pharmaceuticals laws.The staff at Walgreens on West Dixon Boulevard lacks empathy and care for their patients and speak to them as if they have no knowledge whatsoever of the medicine they have clearly been taking and personally know more about than the pharmacy techs, themselves. The pharmacist does not assist with issues that the drive through girls must always experience when they are unable to accurately answer questions regarding prescriptions. The wait is always over half an hour regardless of indoor or drive through service. They constantly lose or hold prescriptions that are dropped off to be filled.(Side note, I have had one staff member (the only male that I have seen working in the pharmacy department) treat me, personally, with respect in the past 12 months of loyalty to this company. This guy gets 5 stars, and I am hoping is now running his own family owned pharmacy at this point.)CVS at 74/226. They greet you with a smile, offer pleasant explanations for any issues or concerns regarding prescriptions, offer information regarding discounts or cheaper medicines, and are wildly consistent with prescriptions and monthly fills. All staff is extremely knowledgeable of all of the medicines and current laws and are able to explain them in an understandable AND understanding way to patients. Choose a pharmacy like this. Not like Walgreens on West Dixon Boulevard.

Where do I start? Everytime I come to Walgreens for me and/or kids medicine their is always an issue that I could have been notified about prior to coming out (not to mention) to sit in this 30minute line everytime I come. The topping on the cake. I call prior to picking up medication due to me having the flu, I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes due to one of 3 of my medications... I waited 20 minutes in line, get to the window and the pharmacy tech and her oooh wonderful customer service tells me half and hour that I have 3 to get ready??? I told her that I called prior to coming and they told me 20mins, she throws her hands up so i am still waiting in this line at the back again...WITH THE FLU...

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Some employees at this store treat customers extremely foul. I had a few coupons I was using and they treat you lower than dirt if you use a coupon. Its honestly discrimination to treat someone better if they use cash and someone worse if they use a coupon.One of the shift lead that works this location is particular nasty to customers. Her name begins with an M and ends with an A. That woman has no place working in customer service or with the public. Accusing customers of things just because they use a coupon. Absolutely SICKENING.They also limit you to ONE of the same item even if the sale is 4 for $10. False advertising in my opinion if they wont let you buy the required amount to get the sale.They also say limit of 2 transactions as well. I had completed 2 transactions and I forgot that I needed to pick up a prescription and that I needed milk and eggs. THEY WOULD NOT LET ME GET THOSE ITEMS. You have done your transactions for the day they stated to me.WORST EXPERIENCE IN OVER 30 YEARS AT A RETAIL LOCATION. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL.

Worst pharmacy experience i have ever had, dropped my prescription off around 11am came back to the pharmacy around 12pm and prescription was still not ready. after waiting another 10 minutes finally get up to the window and the girl enters my insurance info wrong so i have to wait another 20 minutes and then get back in line again just to end up having them tell me the prescription is 30.00 more than it was at the walgreens near my house. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL AND SLOW.

This place is so slow: drive thru and inside at the pharmacy. Associates are rude and not willing to help ; they more or less act like it is an inconvenience to walk and take you to where the product is located! I had no choice in using this location; however I will serenely never go back. A shortage of medications at one place should not mean me putting up with this kind of service.

For a couple years I was a dedicated customer who spend $THOUSANDS on medication here & today was the last straw I dropped off my ADDERALL rx yesterday nobody called me ahead of time to let me know they couldnt fill my script because the date it was written wasnt on there. The date it is supposed to be filled is indeed on there so I dont know what the problem is. The pharmacy is also very under staffed because I can never get in touch with anyone by phone and usually have to spend 30 mins in drive thru. The fact that I need my meds and nobody bothered calling me to say there was an issue does not sit right with me. I went to the Walgreens on E. Marion st and immediately they took care of filling my script which is where i would recommend anyone to go instead of this place. Say goodbye to a loyal customer who has spent a small fortune because I will NEVER fill any script here again

Worst time for employees to stock shelves would be on a Friday at 4pm. Couldnt look at anything because employee was in the way and had half the cosmetic wall taken down. This store needs desperate help and lots of attention.

I will never go to this pharmacy again. They messed up on my husbands prescriptions both times I have dropped them off here. Not too mention the 15 minute turn around they tell you turns into hours. I will stick with the one at the hospital.

Used to be a good store. I wont be going back. I went in to pick up one prescription for my diabetes and had to wait and wait. Id already received a text message that my prescription was ready so its not like I had to wait for them to get it ready. Twenty minutes after I arrived someone finally turned around and picked up the bag containing the medicine and let me pay for it and leave. There were only two people in line ahead of me. Both of them were still waiting when I left.
