Was looking for mattresses and they had quite a nice selection of different kinds of beds. The worker was nice and followed us around to help but was on his phone most of the time. The place is bigger than what you see on the outside and actually has a second floor. Everything was clean and the whole place gives a calming vibe. The workers are helpful and they dont bother you like car salesmen to buy something, which is really nice. Everything seemed decently priced as well.

Chris from Marquis Furniture gave amazing customer service to my aunt today who was in the market for a new recliner. You see she has cancer on her spine which makes it unbearable to sleep in a bed so she had to have a comfortable recliner to sleep in. It was suppose to take a couple of days to get it delivered but after Chris saw how much pain she was in he asked if they could make it happen same day! Because of Chris and Marquis furniture she might get the rest she so desperately needs tonight! Thank you again to everyone at Marquis Furniture that made this happen for her!

Avoid this places. Several years ago I bought a table and matching chairs. At the time they did a price match guarantee. When I brought a quote depicting a lower price from another store they didn’t seem pleased but honored it. I was moving because I was in the service and wanted to have furniture purchased beforehand to furnish the house and purchased the furniture here. They loaded the set in my truck, packaged in a box, and I did not open it due to me moving and wanting the packaging to protect the set during the move. When I got to the west coast and opened the package, it was the wrong set. I priced the set they gave me and it was roughly $100 lower than the one I actually purchased. Buy with caution.

We bought a bedroom set and due to the ongoing covid issues we were told it could only be delivered to the front yard, when they came they failed to bring the rails and now we are stuck with a yard full of furniture and no help to bring it in because they wont bring my rails till after five and the help I had lined up isnt available after five. When I told him it would just be me and my daughter trying to get it put up, I was told sorry, have a nice day. I promise I will never buy from them again and I will spread the word about their lack of professionalism and custom service. Edit: They came back with my rails 40 min. later

Marquis Furniture is the place to go for fine furniture at a great price; whenever my wife and I want some particular piece of furniture, our first thought is: Lets go to Marquis and look first. That is what happened just this week when we were trying how to remodel the living room to get somewhat of a theatre area for the new tv she is gonna buy soon.You wouldnt believe how perfectly that store is unless you experience it yourself, but I digress. After walking through the recliners and such and unhappily not finding what we were seeking, we took one last walkthrough, and alas!, there they were as if they had sprang into position just for our enjoyment--two swivel reclining chairs with ottomans; never in my life would I think I would fall in love with a piece of furniture like I did those two recliners.But NO! Being me, I had to get on the computer and find a better deal on a better chair--All I have done is waste several hours frustratingly peering over inferior chairs online and being bombarded with endless e-mails based on my shopping experience.Today, it is back to Marquis Furniture to do some more sitting in the chairs to ensure they are just what we want.By the way, the sales staff have always treated us very well: informative without pressure to buy. Found the perfect couch today.

Excellent customer service thats not pushy trying to sell you something. Plus they have great financing options with no interest if paid within a year. The pillow to our sectional got lost during the delivery but they replaced it with no hassle. We love our new bed and sectional and will definitely be shopping here for all of our furniture needs!Update 1 year later: DO NOT buy the top of the line pillow top king mattress! For well over $2,000 we thought we were buying something that would last and support our bad backs. After only a few months of usage, divots started forming even though we rotated it as suggested. They have just gotten worse to where our backs hurt every day so I called to see what can be done. Was told I could fill out a warranty application that I had to request to be emailed to me twice. The warranty says the divots have to be 2 inches deep without pressure on the bed. Its a pillow top so that will never show up in pictures. I feel like we wasted our money on this mattress.

I went in and they had an extremely large selection of furniture on 3 stories. I wasnt hustled at all and was left to roam around, but once I needed help, the sales lady who helped me wss extremely helpful. The prices are great and I will definitely shop here again.

Took my wife to this location to look at furniture and I was amazed and the selection and prices. The customer service far exceeded my expectations. I have bought from Mathis brothers furniture before and I only wish I knew about this place before because they are far more reasonable on prices and quality. I worked here one summer. I still get furniture from Marquis and it is high quality furniture. As a matter of fact my whole family buys furniture from here and it always lasts a long time. Just like other furniture stores you need to ask about the warranty. Manufacturers are the people not wanting to stand behind furniture normally. I would call the store, ask to speak to the manager, and then arrange a time to talk in person. They are very helpful and want to work things out.

They were so helpful with our last 2 purchases,the first was a gaming chair,the gentleman that helped us was a gamer too so he recommended the perfect chair. Then we needed a chair for our living room,but the price for the whole set was so reasonable the we bought loveseat,couch and chair. We are now looking for mattresses,no other place for furniture needs in our eyes than Marquis furniture in Shawnee,Ok!:)

We looked at furniture alley in OKC then I stopped on a whim in Shawnee to check out what they had. I found a beautiful dining set with eight chairs for half of the cost than Mathis Brothers.They delivered it in two days, just in time for Christmas! Stan and Mike were extremely polite and professional delivery guys.And Trevor was a very polite and helpful sales person.My suggestion is to shop the little guys. ☺️I am very happy with our purchase.

My family members have always used marquis in Shawnee to furnish their home. I could not wait for my husband and I to furnish our brand new home using marquis. Weve always had a great experience there over the years. This experience was not a good one. They provided great customer service until after the sale was made. We purchased an extra night stand and we never received it. When we spoke with a manager about the situation he stated that sometimes customers get confused about what theyre getting. We called multiple times and the manager stated that he would call us back but we never received a call. When we finally got through to a manager he said he had no memory of us speaking with us. Weve experienced delay after delay. They did not have the bed frame that we ordered but they never called to tell us. We had to pay 200 dollars to get the frame in time for the company that we had coming to stay for a wedding so that they would have a place to sleep. They did not have two of our dining room chairs and they ordered them. They said it would be 4-6 weeks and its been 8 weeks. I called to check the status today and the chairs are in but they never called to tell me. My parents ordered the same bedroom set from marquis and it is already falling apart. On a positive note, the delivery crew was very professional and provided great service. We appreciate their help. We have two more bedrooms and a living room to furnish later this year but we will be taking our business elsewhere. Theyve made the entire experience of furnishing our first home into a disaster and I am very disappointed.

Dont buy mattresses or couches there. My sister bought a sofa and loveseat several years ago and they didnt make the cushions in sofa per their preference. She wanted 3 cushions across and there were only two in sofa.My mattress experience has been awful. Bought mattress and box spring late October 2016.1st ...they sold the adjustable component that I ordered to another customer. So I used bed with the box springs it came with .The mattress and box springs were sold as a set. I ordered the adjustable frame at the same time . So I used mattres with box springs until the frame came in.Of course, once you get the adjustable frame you cant use the box springs. Thats when the nightmare really began!!The four posts that came with the frame come in two heights. I got the highest one. I didnt know that. I almost needed a running start to get on the bed it was so high .There was nothing on the bed to confirm the firmness of the mattress. I ordered a medium one.Without the box springs it seemed like a 50 year old super worn out mattress...The mattress and frame dont seem to go together. No support. I have almost fallen off the bed it is so soft on left side!!The manager of Shawnee store has done nothing to help me. She said once it was in the house ... no rrturns !!! Nothing. Also she said that I tried it out in the store and I should know what it would be like.!!!! In the store it was on the box springs NOT on the adjustable frame ! So I have spent 2 thousand dollars on everything and I am stuck. I have pinched nerves in thoracic area. Once I lay down on my back the pain starts. This doesnt happen when I am at other peoples houses or in hotels !! I am so frustrated.

This was a terrible visit. I need s bed frame, headboard, footboard. One young lady asked what I Was looking for.I told her what I needed. A queen size bed. I looked at every thing. Then went to talk to her. Three young men were texting on their phones. They didnt even look up when I asked for the young lady that I had talked to Briefly 35 mins before.one of the young men still did not look up from his phone and told me he thought she went to the bathroom. So I continued to browse waiting for 20 more mins. I finally walked out.I will never enter another Marquis store.and will tell everyone I talk to about my visit!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE UNLESS YOU EXPECT ZERO SERVICE AND ZERO WARRANTY.We bought a couch on 2015-06-06. It was delivered three days later on 2015-06-09. It looked fine, but very quickly the cushions were messed up. They became lumpy and misshapen. We contacted them within a month or two of delivery. Weve now spent more than a year calling them, being told theyll take care of it only for them to never call us back. Weve been promised new cushions probably ten times or so, but still havent received anything.
