This place is the best. Great food, drinks and board games for rent (and purchase!). The people are friendly and there is a nice heated outdoor space, which made us feel safe during these COVID times. Its also super vegan friendly! On our most recent viair we had an incredible vegan cheese plate and earl grey creme brule! I mean....what?! Cheese plate not shown, as we devoured it immediately.

Really cool place for board and card game fans! Lots of room to play and they host regular events for specific titles, welcoming all skill levels and players. Mox is associated with Card Kingdom, which is one of the largest dealers in Magic: the Gathering, and you can place orders for cards and pick up right at the store. Attached is also a restaurant/bar area that is equally as inviting for everyone.

Mox is a board game place with a restaurant inside. They have good food at decent prices, lots of drink options, and you can rent board games for free to try out and spend your time. The store itself is pretty big with all sorts of games to buy. Their staff is super knowledgeable and always helpful on recommendations which is amazing. Would highly recommend coming here with friends to hang or even a date night.

This is by far my all time favorite gaming place in Seattle by far. It had a very diverse selection of products ranging from card games, to table top supplies to a cool Warhammer 40k area and board games. There was a section I noticed where you got to meet up with someone who helped make a game to discuss and a large variety of gaming tables. They have games for rent and are adjoined by their own restaurant which I did not have a chance to partake in this bout. But I am excited to go back and take a look.

The best of all gaming worlds. Its a game store. Its a bar. They have rooms you can reserve for your game nights, as well as a wall of free games to play in store. Plus with a tasty restaurant and taps where you can eat and imbibe while you try out new and beloved games. The restaurant has a surprisingly fancy menu, but that comes with a price. There are still some $10 options for the gamers on a budget. Especially if youre tempted to take something home. While they may not carry *every* product, they cater to a lot and its great to see a game store like this thrive.

Out of all the game stores Ive visited, this is my all-time favorite. The atmosphere, dΓ©cor, products, and staff are all top-notch; of particular note are the Warhammer products, which are lower priced than buying them from GW directly. The store offers on-site MTG selling services from 11AM to 7PM, allowing you to meet in-person with a CardKingdom buyer; all the buyers have been friendly, timely, and well-informed, plus the store-credit ratio for selling is very generous compared to other stores Ive sold at.Events for MTG, DnD, Warhammer, and other tabletop games are hosted here, with the capacity to arrange and host your own event in one of the private rooms that you can reserve space in. So far, Ive only experienced their MTG events, but Ive found them to be well-coordinated and well-moderated, with the organizers and regulars alike creating a very welcoming atmosphere.Lastly, there is a bar and restaurant serving a variety of specialty food and drinks; the root beer is a must-try. Oh, and they check vaccination status for both visitors and event attendees; all around, a safe, fun place for tabletop games and hobbies alike.

I bought MTG cards from Mox/Card Kingdom at NM and only collected them.. never played them. Kept them all well protected (I have collected trading cards for over 30 years and know how to care for cards.. plus do it). Mox/Card Kingdom bought some of them back at NM and others for lower grades (to pay me less). I sent the cards via mail and wasnt there to watch them grade the cards. I wouldnt trust Mox/Card Kingdom, unless you are watching them grade the cards in person. Youve been warned! PS included a pic showing my history with eBay (172 transactions buying/selling ALL positive) and one example of what I spoke about in this post. I sold them around 587 cards. I would of sold on eBay, but the time cost to post, ship and such made me decide to sell them in bulk. So I knew I wouldnt get market price, but I did expect to be fairly graded on condition and my cards werent. Maybe yours will be.. good luck!

Last 2 times Ive been here parking has been impossible and the cafe has been closed, And their gaming selection has not been updated. Tried to point this out to the staff and one girl in particular was quite surly about it. If this place is going to keep my business, they need to do something.

I left a message about a card I was going to sell to pay some bills, imperial seal. When I got a call saying that they would buy the card I was elated. When I arrived they said that they couldnt buy it because the boss wasnt there but hed be there next week. This all could have been avoided with better communication. I am appalled at the service they gave. If you cant buy a card because it exceeds a money cap you should let the customer know there is a money cap if the boss isnt there. Ill probably be on the streets now because I cant pay rent in time.

Their grading is hit or miss. Sometimes they get the grading right, sometimes they miss hard. I sold back a couple NM cards to them (I purchased from them), which were just sitting in my collection completely unused for a few months. They graded the most expensive one as EX condition, which I purchased from them in NM condition (it makes a huge difference in buylist pricing). Some other less expensive cards, which they sold to me as NM, they bought back as EX as well. They had no additional play because they were sitting in my collection unused, double sleeved as well.A ton of NM cards Ive been picking up have dents, nicks, or smudging. This seems to be a recent issue, maybe with a lot of people selling during covid. I think they give too many cards NM when selling, but conversely, take in a lot of NM cards as EX or lower. There are a really weird amount of circular dents in NM cards... not sure what this is from exactly, but it isnt uncommon.I had a good experience with customer support before, but current wait time for support is about 2 weeks, so I dont really bother. I am going to only purchase cards in EX from now on, because there isnt a difference most of the time from EX and NM.They get 4 stars because they are one of the best places in general that buy cards at great prices, and their store credit is very good. I just have been a little disappointed in the whole grading area, but overall, great company.

Ultimately Card Kingdom can provide decent service to customers. Take note that I am talking specifically about Card Kingdom online (as this is the easiest way I can actually make a review). I do have some qualms as far as what they provided.First I used an affiliate link from YouTube to attempt to get a customer discount. That didn’t work even though the site told me my discount was added onto my total. The next main problem was that some of the near mint cards I received I wouldn’t call NM. Two cards showed signs of wear on the edges, and one was slightly bent. Now let’s talk about the good. Every card I ordered was the exact copy, and none were missing. They were shipped pretty well with the cards being in a plastic casing. They also provided a bit of β€œcard candy” I’ll call it with a free sticker and token card.So yes, I can give them a recommendation. You can likely find a better service on another site or your local dealer but Card Kingdom can get you what you need.-Ben

The fact that Cafe Mox doesn’t have a dining table sitting limit is beyond me. There have groups of people that literally sit at tables for hours without ordering food and it creates huge wait times for a table. Today the waitlist went for 4 hours before a table even opened up. Like really? That’s beyond horrible customer service. It’s literally a gamble if you can even get food at cafe mox. It has such potential to be a good cafe to play games at eat. But the fact they allow people to sit at a table all day without ordering food is an insult to someone who wants to have food and enjoy the environment and play a boardgame. When you can get a table. It’s great. But this business model is horrendous and needs to be changed.
