With schools and universities opening up virtually, its absolutely important for you all to be open physically at a time like this, especially when laptop prices are skyrocketing with high demand. For many, this location is the only place to buy affordable and reliable technology. Thats why I just dont understand why Interconnection is choosing to remain closed rather than serving the community in a time of actual need. Interconnection has the ability to open their retail store right now and operate in a safe and healthy manner, yet they are actively choosing not to.

Very helpful and nice staff

I have a low income hotspot with them. It stopped working over a week ago. I find an email in my junk about system changes. I try to call, no response for over a week. Emails, over a week, no response. Thanks Interconnection for my kids failing their classes! Contacted Sprint, the carrier, 2 hours, hang ups, incorrect referrals, cant help you, only Interconnection can bs and my twins are going to lose. This is so unprofessional and horrible in so many ways.

Love it....has laptops for low income for $99

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this company. I had previously bought two laptops from them and had a good experience so I bought another one two weeks ago. I charged it all day and then took it off of the charge. It immediately shut down. I have called and emailed several times and attempted contact through Facebook. They responded sporadically with comments like “Let me check into this” or “I will send you a replacement battery and adapter” with no action to follow. I spent $300.00 and only asked to replace the laptop. Now I want my money back.

I have bought several electronics from this store and my grandaughters laptop they have all been really good prchases with no problems and hopefully after the first of the year I can purchase a good Apple ipad for her. I would highly recommend buying from here.

Fantastic shop with electronics options for low-income households, including repairs, new and refurbished laptops and tablets, and even some sound and video recording devices! They even have access to a low-income internet service through their sister non-profit. Always helpful, always great prices.

This is a fantastic place. Got a 24 monitor for $15--almost new. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, the woman who helped me checked in the warehouse (next door) as the shelves had only smaller monitors. Im going to use this place for repairs in the future too.

Purchased a Dell from them a couple years ago and it still runs all right despite the recent Windows 10 update messing up the entire system. Ive been using are low income internet hotspot for some time however in the past few months it has become unreliable and for the past few weeks Ive barely gotten any data. It will pick up the towers but not communicate with them. I found that I forgot to renew my account despite it still picking up service and when I tried I went through all the procedures to renew and my service is still not functioning right even a week later. Contacted the customer service via email and still no reply 24 hours later. Also noticed that despite it saying Unlimited, after I hit 30 GB the speed of the connection drastically dropped. Tried to contact Sprint and they say they have no data on the account.

Nice little shop good selection of mostly used windows computers. Some Mac and apple accessories. Also offering some previous generation surface product, docs and other equipment. They also have some Chromebook machines.

If youre on a budget and need some slightly used computer equipment, this is the place. 21 flat screen monitor for $25, cant beat that price. Highly recommend for second generation computing. Not to mention you can drop off your old, outdated or broken computer equipment at No Charge, very nice. They have a loading dock for easy drop off.

(Just updating this to say that to their credit, the company did reimburse me in the end.)My experience with Interconnection falls easily into my all-time worst experiences with any company that I have ever had. My laptop had died and so I decided to buy a refurbished laptop from them. I needed it asap for work, and felt it was right to buy locally instead of giving Bezos any more money. Their actual store is closed bc of covid, so I ordered online.At first the powercord didnt work, they did quickly send me a new one. Though I did find it odd, seeing as they provide almost excessive assurances that All equipment listed herein is tested for full functionality and certified R2 ready for reuse ..That assurance is certainly a curious one, I discovered as I plugged in the machine. The mousepad worked, but only barely. I tried to connect two of my own external mice, but the machine wouldnt recognize either. I tried all of the usb ports, but none worked. I then tried to transfer my old files from an external hard drive. All I got was the blue cursor spinning endlessly, I waited, it never recognized the drive. I tried opening the internet browser. Same spinning cursor, and it never opened. They had sold me a polished rock. Details aside, this resulted in me being compromised professionally.What turned out to be truly abysmal about this company was the customer service. It is a challenge to get anyone on the phone, and their voicemail is perpetually full. I finally got through to some guy who told me he couldnt help me but that someone who could help me with the refund would get in touch. I also wrote them an email. No one called or emailed me back. I waited and then got through again.I eventually got them to send me a box to ship the useless rock back to them via fedex. A piece of paper informed me, without so much as an apology, that Id get my money back within two billing cycles. No indication how much time that actually means. I do not have a car so I got to enjoy spending my time and energy returning the thing, complete with a visit to a fedex inside a Walgreens where half the customers werent wearing masks. The feeling of being subjected to risk of covid at the end of this saga was really the icing on the cake, esp considering their own physical store is still closed due to covid.So if you want to be needlessly jerked around, have your time wasted with neither compensation nor apology, to be possibly compromised professionally if you need a computer for work, to be put at risk during the pandemic, and then to wait and wonder if this barely functioning company will ever give you your money back, then I highly recommend you try Interconnection.

I couldnt get zero star. i bought a Dell laptop online its so dirty and old.They dont serve low in-come families.They are lying. the price is not fair, Its costly. i bought almost $400 including tax and shipping but its very slow almost died . dont buy anything from this store especially online.

Used to be okay ...they had a cheap hotspot that barely got a signal indoors. Its subsidized by the government and you need to be low income. They moved their store and all. They have some very strange people working instore. As other reviews mentioned they are condescending. They created a billing issue with my service. It continued to deduct from my bank after they cancel my service.As for the devices they sell, these are mostly used second hand electronics and many could have issues. They treat customers poorly. After reaching out to management I was ignored. I had to take action with my bank over these charges. Can not recommend this place. There are better professional places to purchase a refurbished device.

This is a great place to donate computers and computer equipment. They also have a used equipment store where you can get great bargains on used computers and peripherals. We got great deals on used laptops, desktops, and monitors. Id suggest opting for used business-class computers and monitors, which are more rugged and reliable than the consumer-grade stuff.

I bought a Dell Laptop for a couple hundred bucks over the internet site called Connectall. I sneezed on it and the screen broke. But when I brought it in, they swapped it out for a Lenovo for free, same day service.

I dropped my Laptop off late afternoon and by 11am the next day it was done. Chris was so friendly, honest about their prices and provided service what I felt was above and beyond! Their fees were incredibly reasonable, and your diagnostic charge is used toward any service or parts you may further require! I will recommend everybody who is looking for good computer attention to start here!!!!!

Went and picked up a couple of laptops, 1 Lenovo & 1 Dell (i5, 8G Ram, 1T Hdd, 15). Both units were manufactured in 2017. I had to return the Lenovo (it had networking issues), and they swapped out a slightly more expensive and slightly newer laptop. They were pleasant, courteous, and professional. 2 thumbs up!

These guys are great, I went there to get some RAM for an older system, and I was surprised to find their selection and prices were better than I could find online even.When one of the sticks I bought wouldnt work for me, they exchanged the two 4GB ones I bought for four 2GB ones. In the end I left paying about half what I expected to!I definitely want to support these folks.

Great deals, its a good place to find functional and affordable technology and technical support, its better if you have knowledge of technology or if you come with someone who knows. Also, the items that they have can be useful for new and cheap ideas to improve your home or working place.

This place is a place to go if you know what you need or else you might buy something you dont need, a couple of the staff are helpful but 1 or 2 of the staff are darn right unhelpful, they answer questions with a single word. Not expounding on any interest you may have about an item. But over all i give 4 stars if that person with the bad attitude ever leaves or just cheers up they can get 5 out of 5 from me... I LOVE this place! I send my clients here constantly. Everything about this place is perfect, from the fact that it guarantees the scrubbing it gives the hardware of the items donated to it, to the fact that it recycles what it cant use and refurbishes what it can. People in need of assistance are taught job skills, agencies around the world are given the refurbished machines. Its a marvelously comprehensive program.

I love the mission of InterConnection to support nonprofits and low-income people. I used to volunteer here before life got crazy, but I hadnt purchased anything from them prior to this month.I needed a Windows laptop for work, but it didnt have to be a super fancy one. InterConnection was perfect because of their very reasonable prices, and high quality refurbishing process, plus the added bonus of supporting a good cause. The sales clerk was able to provide me great help in selecting my laptop. I have been primarily a Mac user for 17 years now, so I was pretty rusty on everything to do with Windows machines. His help was invaluable. This laptop is perfect for the purposes I need it for. I also picked up a used XBox 360 Kinect for $10, which Id been watching for at Goodwill for months to no avail. Super awesome.

I would give this less stars but they dont have that option ... I will never buy anything from them again .. its low cost computers but very low grade as well ... Ordered a laptop from them online .. before I made the purchase I emailed them to ask for more information than their site offered, which isnt much. So I emailed and I got a response from them stating they could not give me any specs or model number because .. they had different models in stock .. and after doing some research thought .. well I figured on taking a chance and hoping to get one of the models I seen during my research .. dead wrong .. I got the worst one of the models ... So basically they hid the model number from their description. Now .. they only had this one model in stock .. so there was no reason they couldnt have gave me anymore specs on this item .. so that was strike one .. then proceeded to offer me a refund ... Dont and I mean DONT!!! buy anything off their site .. if you take the time to read the return policy .. it says .. you will get your refund 2 to 4 weeks after they get their merchandise back .. I wonder if they tell their customers in store this same line of garbage... They can take my money in 3 days but got to wait 4 or 5 weeks to get it back? .. scammers .. then i was offered a trade for one of their others .. well they dont have another model in .. that they lied about the reasons they couldnt give me the specs on this one .. I still have yet to hear back from their manager .. but I feel I been ripped off and the waiting time for refund ... Is a bunch of garbage .. no other store I ever bought anything from ... Made me wait more than 2 or 3 days for my money to be returned .. they claim its the financial institutions need that time to process the refunds .. hell the IRS takes less time. And on top of that .. the battery doesnt fully charge .. and only lasts 2 to 3 hours ... While in sleep mode and the lid closed!!!! They are running the biggest con game around with all the garbage they feed paying customers ... Stay away from this place!!! .... In response to whom responded to me .. no you do not return money as soon as you get the item back .. you have had my laptop that I returned for 3 days now and not a word that it has been received .. and your manager there Anthony tells me it takes your company 2 to 4 weeks to process refunds .. it isnt my financial institution that will take for ever .. as soon as your company sends my refund it will be posted on my account within 1 to 2 business days .. not 2 to 4 weeks .. and being this company got their laptop back .. and hasnt been responding to me .. I consider my money as good as stolen thank you very much and will soon be treated as such.

I have bought one PC and one Mac used laptops from them for my QuickBooks set up, review, clean up, and one-on-one training business and they are still running.They offer classes that teach folks how to build their own computer and receive one at the conclusion so I have recommended them to several friends on a budget who want to learn more about technology.They recycle computers, printers, monitors, and peripherals. Drop off is easy (Ive done it twice) and the staff is friendly. If you are planning on buying something, drop off a donation first and get a discount coupon.If you are in the market for a business computer, they have several available as well as more personal (budget) machines. If you buy a Mac laptop, it probably will not come with a power cord so look for one at a thrift shop or buy it on Amazon.

I have donated a number of computers, monitors, etc. There is no charge to make a donation and the staff there are friendly and helpful. Just around the corner is the sales portion of the organization. There are some great bargains here and all the equipment is tested. Again there is a friendly helpful staff person there who will answer questions, help you check out your purchase and make suggestions for other products.

This place is fantastic. Friendly and great prices. They are also an amazing resource to recycle your outdated technology. We had 2 VERY large TVs that we were trying to get rid of. No interest on any of the free cycle sites and after letting them sit out over a hot summer someone cut the power cords but left everything else. Now with completely useless TVs we started calling around and were getting quoted $40 for pick ups and recycle. We felt so lucky to call these guys and be told that they would take them for free!Definitely a win win and they even helped us unload these heavy TVs as soon as we pulled up. Thanks for the great help!

The staff is rude and condescending. For a place that is all about selling affordable computers they sure dont like being bothered by customers especially the low income ones. If you have a question expect to be greeted by rolled eyes and exasperated sighs before you get any help. If you get any at all.

Interconnection promised me a refurbished computer with Microsoft Office Pro included in the software. When I got the computer, there was no software and no key code. I alerted the company and they confirmed the website listed the computer with the software. However, they said it was a mistake and wouldnt offer an adjustment.I also have an insert included with the computer verifying Microsoft Office as part of the package deal. This is most unfortunate as its inclusion was one of the main reasons I chose this company.I have turned it over to the BBB for false advertising.

Be careful when shopping here, many of the computers work only a short time after purchase. The overall concept is good but the computers are very low quality.

InterConnection provides a great service for those old outdated computer technology. Saving what can be re-used and responsibly recycling whats left.If they were a few miles away, Id totally spend (at least) half my day there, volunteering and offering my assistance with computer testing and teardown ! :)

Really great, convenient, place to drop off old computers and equipment for recycling.

I walked in there with a computer that had died. They opened it up, and found out why it had died. However, they sold me a newer computer that had a compatible power supply, so now I have redundant power supplies, and they were able to recover the data from the hard drive (which was especially challenging because it had an ext4 file system instead of an NTFS file system. They know what theyre doing.

People working here is 3/5 but the prices are really good

Bought a desktop PC for my nonprofit here last winter, the power supply burnt out, with a puff of smoke. I brought it back and they replaced the power supply, I was in the shop for less than 30 minutes. No charge for the replacement. Thank you Interconnections.
