Always a great selection of sci-fi and fantasy. Beau is plentiful and friendly which just makes the whole experience great.

Very cute little used bookstore with a very friendly cat! The selection isnt huge and the signage isnt the most clear, but if youre in the mood to poke around a cozy little space and stumble upon some great pre-loved books, stop by. They have a pretty wide variety of books, including a great section on the West and hunting/angling. Also, the cat is very friendly, so if you have allergies, this might not be the place for you.

Who can hate a used bookstore? While the selection isn’t incredibly vast, you’re sure to fins something to pique your interest and be bought at a good price. The genres are labelled clearly, the prices are all written in one of the first pages of each book, and the cats inside are fun to play with (unless you have allergies. Then probably avoid this place).

Got great book about feline artistry. The man at the desk was friendly, I got to say hello to the store cat, and I paid a fair price for a wonderful book. No complaints.

Book store was messy and had a musty, litter box smell - not like the wonderful smell of old books. It was pretty expensive for used books also.

Love a local used book store. 3 stars for this location because the used books I bought were priced at their original new price 🤷 okay, I bought them anyway but probably wont be back.Update: thanks to the owner for the reply, I understand your point but I did find the book new in print at Target at the same price as I bought used at the store. Thats okay but now I know what to expect. 👍

Used book stores are a godsend. You dont always have to go online to find something interesting. Those dusty old shelves- hardcore bibliophiles only.

I love this place! I live across the street so it’s easy to just pop in and browse from time to time. I don’t always find something, but there’s a lot of options to choose from, and browsing is just as nice.To make it even better they have a shop cat! I volunteer at the shelter they adopted him from and it’s so nice to see him get a bunch of attention and love from people who stop in.

So many books. And such a pretty kitty. If you cant find what you want in any other book store then look here or the other location in Capitol Hill. Also for the bookworms theres happy hour where the books either 25% to 50% off.

Small little mom and pop store. Cute little cat called Bo. Friendly cat who will warm your lap if you let him. My wife got 4 books at this place.

This is a super cozy, welcoming shop that sells gently used books of all kinds. The selection is definitely smaller than your typical bookstore, but the inexpensive finds will make it worth your while. Plus, the store owner kindly told us it was happy hour: 25% off! Theres a cat that hangs around the bookshelves as well who may or may not follow you as you browse.

Their Selection of books is decent but the prices are a little higher than the capitol hill location due to not as many customers. They currently have one cat named Bo living there. Bo is very playful and likes to nip your fingers. He looks a lot like Hardy living at the Capitol Hill location

I was here at the Ballard Location and found a book I liked it ended up having two prices on it one for about $4.00 the other for about $8.00 of course they said the lesser price was from another store or owner and wasnt theirs.. Imo Be very cautious when shopping here if the book you want has 2 prices on it just put it back and just leave.

Opens to late in the day. Closes to early. The one on Capitol hill is better
