A delightful little boo nook wit an array or used amd new books. Walls of books! Need I say more? The selection was limited to the small space but the bookkeeper was friendly and happy to order for me. He was knowledgable and made sure the environment was safe. ( there was a maskless individual next to me he politely reminded to put on his mask while indoors to.) Stop by this delightful place.

Hours are Noon - 6pm daily. Located in Pioneer Square. They literally just opened last Wednesday. Cute shop and the aesthetics inside/architecture are beautiful!Hand sanitizer before you browse. Limit 30 min of browsing which is mostly what I did.

Heard this is the place to go for old and new books. It is just amazing. Not so much seldom that you get lost or overwhelmed, but just enough to find something new.

This is a true Seattle treasure. They have there own publishing and print house so there is a very nice selection of high quality offerings. I found a first edition book on Seattle history. Reasonable prices. Great and knowledgeable staff. Browse and support local book sellers.

So far one of my favorite places in Seattle. I passed by it dozens of times before realizing it was even there, but once I noticed it I couldn’t stop going back! It’s a small and cozy bookstore with a surprisingly large selection. The staff/owner have always been kind and helpful. Whenever I’ve wondered what to pick up next, they have excellent suggestions for me to try. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone in need of a good book and a happy, peaceful atmosphere.

Fast to reply, slow to help. I was shipped a very badly damaged book, and when I tried return it, I was basically treated like a criminal and it took over two months to get my money back. It was $45. Honestly the sheer amount of hydrocarbons used in shipping this book back and forth have convinced me that print books are bad for the environment and are completely obsolete. Thanks Arundel. I am leaving a one-star for Alibris, who has been sold to foreign ownership and no longer gives customer service. Buyer beware!

I had passed by this place often, and finally walked in to get a birthday present for my dad, who loves books and authors. I found a beautiful signed, first edition by an author he likes. And the store owner threw in, for free, a large lovely print of a photo of the author he had taken. What an unexpectedly great experience.

The saving grace for this book shop - the reason for two stars instead of just one - was the gentleman working there today. I would guess he is the owner of the store. He was pleasant. The petite teenager girl working for him (or with him) was very rude. No reply to my hello when I walked in, no may I help you, no welcome, goodbye or any other basic pleasantries from her. It looks like they have fine books, but she made me feel very uncomfortable, so I left after only five minutes. I dont think she should work with people, but maybe computers and Excel spreadsheets would suit her better. Im a local, and I want to support local businesses, but Im not stepping in there again. She gave me the chills, in a bad way.

A local bookstore with both new and used books. There are series of beautifully printed (letterpress) poems on the wall, and when I asked about them, they told me each month they have a small art exhibition there. This month the exhibition is these poems because its the national poetry month now.

Disorganized and poor service. Dont waste your time here. Couldnt even read most book titles because the shelves were too high and there was no organizational structure. Staff were also irritated when we asked for help. Why would you do that if you want my money? Needless to say, we did not purchase anything.
