Great brewery in the heart of Columbia City with really tasty beer and outdoor seating. Blake was super helpful and recommended the apricot hefe and blood orange red pictured here. We really enjoyed both. He was also diligent about sanitizing tables before/after use which we appreciated!

Nice and chill outdoor seating area. Friendly and fast service. Excellent Belgium Strong with deep fruit flavors. Their Apricot Hefeweizen is also light and refreshing. The Cask Oatmeal Nut Brown is very tasty. They offer 4-pack 16 oz cans for $14 or sell them individually for $5 each with a $1 cork fee per can if you want to enjoy there. Tasting flights available in 4 or 8 (2 oz) glasses.

I wasn’t too familiar with this brewery until I walked by and saw their patio and thought it would be nice to go in and try some of their beers. I’m so glad I made that decision because their beers were really good. Can’t wait to go back this Friday staff was very knowledgeable and nice as well. I even bought four cans to bring home should’ve bought more because this beer is delicious 😋 🤤

Great atmosphere, and gorgeous decor! Loved this space. They have a wonderful selection of taps, and some truly delicious crafts. Its a very covid friendly environment. I wandered in while visiting from out of town and enjoyed a very reasonably priced sampler set - choose your own. I wanted to take some beer back to my accommodation, but they only have growler fills. I figured the $5 growler was still worth it and I could give it to a friend before flying out of town. But they let me borrow one for free! I returned it the next day (and had another beer while I was at it). Great place.

We stopped here after a super meal of Senegalese food. The cask-conditioned fresh hop ale (centennial hops) was everything I like about real ales - the warmer temperature and lower carbonation really let the hops come through. The blood orange imperial IPA was also solid. The service is relaxed and friendly. I also loved the warehouse atmosphere. Its a cool old building that smells of cedar and brew gear. Cant go wrong!

Super awesome tap room! Excellent ambiance, pleasant atmosphere, classy feel, AMAZING beers, free pretzels. Spent a long while talking with Tyler, the bartender - really nice guy, super helpful and knowledgeable about the beers they had available. I definitely recommend anyone that appreciates good beers to try this place out - you can check out their flight option, of 8 different beers of your choosing.

Come here for a really chill experience. The place doesnt get too crowded on weekdays. They serve an interesting collection of beers you can sample before you can order. An interesting plus with the brewery is that it allows you to order food from the nearby restaurants who are willing to deliver. So ask for the full menu of restaurants, choose what youd like, go over to the restaurant and place your order. Soon you can be relaxing with both great food and drink!

Stopped by here for the first time about a year ago when they were first opening up. Beer is pretty good, bartender was very nice. The brewery is pretty small, has a few outdoor seating and maybe 30 seats inside. The beer is made there in the back of the space; the front is the bar and seating area. A nice spot to grab a quick beer. Not great for groups. Can order food and have it delivered there, but they dont serve any food.

Everytime Im in Seattle, Im sure to stop by the Flying Lion. Tasty beer of all sorts- theres really something for everyone, and no later what your preferences you wont be disappointed. Free pretzels to soothe the salty cravings, and the place is take-out and delivery friendly. The owner is really great and so are all the staff. I really like the Same Again IPA and the Chocolate Milk Stout. They frequently have offerings on nitro and usually have a few guest beers as well.

Best brewery in the city. American Ginger Wheat is balanced with a good bite. Belgian Strong is very much in the style, sweet, strong, clean, great. Daybreak IPA, their piney, lemony IPA is polished and not overbearing. Rye stout is rich and chocolatey, but with great balance, not too sweet or bitter. The Sunday Randall (a great idea) is Dark Mild with Coconut and Cacao nibs. Yummy, and easy drinking. Weizenbock is not Aventinus, but it is smack in the middle of the style, and quite good. Belgian Stout has good subtle roast, great body, easy finish. Quaddammnit is good, not great. Most of these soften noticably with warmth, losing some bubble and charm, exceptions are the Belgian Stout, the Quad, the Belgian Strong, Rye Stout. Another IPA is fairly middle of the road, older style, but still absolutely drinkable. The only enemy to Flying Lion is not drinking the beer fast enough. Nothing was mind blowing, but every single beer was good, and stylistically centered. Wow.

Beer was okay but the bartender was not welcoming and it turned into a stressful experience with our son and friend’s two children. We are new to the area so we’re really hoping that it would become a regular place to drink. Prefer to hang out at Hill City Taphouse, NW Peaks, or even just the restaurants in Columbia City.
