I am truly sad to read the reviews from other customers. However, as I have stated on previous reviews my experience should not be taken as sacred Bible quotes. Everybody has different opinions and I truly value other people opinions prior using a store.I had to visit this store today, the young UPS associate was helping a lady get some paper notarized, he was jumping like a monkey 🐒 from side to side to help everyone. He deserves 👏 lots of credit for that phenomenal customer service. But that was just my experience, please judge 👨‍⚖️ the store by yourself.

I just had the most pleasant experience visiting the UPS store in Scotch plains, NJ. The associate named TJ was extremely friendly and very helpful. I went in not knowing what I was supposed to do and TJ helped me with a professional and happy attitude! I highly recommend visiting this location.

I have to definitely agree with the other users! The okd man needs a serious beating! He shoudn’t be behind the counter ..in a people business! As He is very rude and not a people person! And if he’s the owner ups should should kick him off the franchise! Had it out with him a few years back! I see some things just don’t change! Like rudeness to paying customers! Hope you read this Skumbag!!

Always a good experience at this location. I dont like the upselling at the end of the transaction., but I cant be mad at them for doing their job.

Very efficient. Lucky coincidence that I found this place while stopping for coffee. They had a sign that said theyd be back at 1p and they were back on time. A few people were waiting but by the time I went in there was no line and I was in and out in possible under a minute for my Amazon return.

On Saturday 2/21 I had went to the UPS store to get paperwork notarized. I had made an appointment a week in advance for Saturday at 11 am. I promptly show up for my appointment to find out that there was no notary at the store that day as well as an employee told me that you do not keep up with the website and appointments? I am not sure how this makes sense especially if I was able to make an appointment, it was confirmed, AND I even received a reminder message Saturday morning. Luckily I was able to go next door to H&R Block and get the paperwork notarized. I hope this gets figured out and does not continue to happen to other people because it is unacceptable to just not keep up with the website.

I’ve been putting off writing a review on this place, but this deserves a worse rating than a 1. It comes down to one thing, and it’s the old man that works here. It’s a shame to see someone so bitter and utterly rude. Not only to his employees, but also the customers. Over the 5 years living in Scotch Plains, I have only heard and seen a negative attitude form this man. The fact that he puts his employees down is terrible to see. If you’re shipping a return that they can scan off your phone then the service suffices, but God forbid you have a question. If this is his store, he doesn’t deserve a dollar from anyone, and he definitely shouldn’t be training anyone. Toxic work environment, and I genuinely feel bad for the young staff working there. Best of luck to them.

The manager there has a nasty attitude I will never use this ups again an i will make sure to let me neighbors know about how nasty and dismissive he is. If he is not happy with his job he should retire

This ups is actually good but what makes it only 2 stars is the atmosphere created by the older man that runs this store. Hes not friendly at all. Always in a nasty disposition, doesnt like answering your questions, unfriendly look on his face always. Maybe he should retire?

Very convuent location, always helpful . Does an a host of services, accepts USPS, does packing, does copy service, is a drop & hold location for UPS and other package delivery services. Carries a full line of packing supply & has mail box service. Easy to find on Rt22 East with ample parking. Very great customer service.

Excellent customer service. They make shipping very easy. I like that I can drop off US mail there as well, very convenient. They also will ship USPS parcels, but always try to push UPS first. Overall excellent experience

I have never met a person in a retail/customer service who is as rude as the man who works at this UPS Store. He doesn’t greet you when you walk in dies t ask. How can i help you. He doesn’t speak except in ways to make one feel stupid for not knowing his job.The UPS store in Warren is so much better, friendlier, kinder, and much more helpful.

Been here a few times. Sometimes to price and ship a package, other times to drop off some amazon return items. Always been quick to process my packages. Also nice that they’re open late hours.

There is a gentleman named Rod there who is so rude and short when dealing with customers its ridiculous. Everytime I see his its a problem, and there is another review where the customer thinks its racial...so do I. He is more than happy and pleasant with all the non black or brown folks. But has a serious attitude otherwise. I have been there a total of 3 times, 1 he was training a guy and the younger guy was very nice then here comes Rod talking down to the man. Its disappointing to tell you the truth. And no this its even the closest UPS near me, its just on my way home....

Rod and his team are always helpful, courteous and professional. They take care of us right away and always look to recommend the best deal for us. I would recommend this UPS store and team anytime.

Deserves 0 stars. Went there twice and both times were an awful experience. Horrible/rude customer service. 1st visit they had one box remaining in the size I requested but it was damaged (tears, rips, and gouges) and wanted me to pay full price. I refused and went to the ups store in Westfield where they were extremely helpful. Second visit, I entered the store and walked up to the front desk and was the only one waiting. Another customer comes in and the workers finally come out. The other customer as if I am waiting or being helped and the worker responds hes waiting and proceeds to help the other customer... unbelievable. Awful place, go to the ups stores in Cranford or Westfield.

Was returning an Amazon purchase which went great. Only had to show the UPS attendent the Amazon code in my email and they even taped the box closed for me. Had my Amazon refund before I got home. Could not have been easier.

After having at least 4 BAD experiences at this particular UPS store I decided to come write a review. Not surprised to see many people saying the same thing. Very Rude older man that never helps with any of my questions. He hasnt helped me at all with any of my trips to this UPS store, even when asking basic questions he gives an attitude when answering as if he doesnt want to be bothered. NEVER going to the UPS again!

Horrible service! Charged me for shipment but never delivered the package and refused to give the money back in addition to that my package was destroyed and all I heard back was that there is nothing that can be done, still fighting to get my money back!
