Lost my phone this past Saturday. I arrived early on Sunday and the manager was there opening up right on time. The manager helped me purchase and set up the new phone. He even put the screen protector I bought for it on! I picked this store because it was super close to my house, but Id go back in a heartbeat because the manager was so nice and helpful. Helped me recover my contacts and data, knowledgeable about the products he sells. 10/10, chefs kiss.

The cricket wireless on State Street I got my phone maybe a month and a half ago and upgraded and got my son his first phone the sales guy was great today somehow I got stuck and talk back couldnt even use my phone couldnt get out of it drove to the cricket and the guy fixed it no problem he was very sweet. I was freaking out LOL he was very calm he did it for me no problem it was the same guy I dealt with before.

Whenever I go into the Schenectady (State Street) store, I always walk out of there very happy with any product Ive purchased and/or with any assistance Ive requested. It is directly related to the new store manager Nicholas Sessions. He is always 100% helpful as well as very knowledgeable about any product in the store. ALL the staff members in this location are always so polite and always know how to answer my concerns. Would highly recommend this store! Especially over the one on Altamont Ave. They never wanna help me when I go and it sucks!!!

I agree with the other reviewer. The place is full of idiots that tell you one thing and then do another thing. Theres no sort of professionalism in any way from any of the employees. The one supposed manager looked like a pothead that couldnt stop yawning and showing dumb expressions while talking with him. The other supposed manager only knew how to act like a dick. It would be best for anyone looking to get cricket service to avoid this place and go to a better location.

Dillon, the manage at the Schenectady NY store has been so helpful toe as, a tech challenged person. He helped me alot today and will always go to that store because of that. Thank you Fillon, see ya soon for new phone etc!

Usually only one employee inside of store, takes too long to be seen. Very unprofessional. Dont believe the prices for the cases either. The cases that are inside the cricket packaging isnt 30 or 40 dollars. It rings up in the system as 19.99. And the 8 gig sd cards they sell you for 34.99 are actually only 14.99. Theyre ripping people off here to meet a sales goal because they cant seem to hire anyone. So, to meet their goals and stay in business they con their customers! Be warned youll pay triple the price here and there is no value, just more money coming out your pockets. They will con you anyway they know how. You are paying for their employee shortage and crisis. I caught the manager outside the store screaming at some lady and cussing her out. Again, very unprofessional dont waste your time or your money. They also never follow up with their customers either. Complete rip offs. Customer service doesnt exist here. Go somewhere else. Dont waste your time with this place. Its a sinking ship with a 23 year old kid running it.

They are extremely helpfull and answered all my questions. I actually considered going to another cricket because of these reviews but these guys were very helpfull and friendly.

I would say it is okay. The reason is that this is a subsidiary of major carrier (At&T) and it can be a let down if you are planning to transfer from another subsidiary.Also, they wont give you a free phone if you are transferring from another At&T subsidiary like H20.Plans are fine but it gets a bit shady if one looks into some of the higher ones. For example, they have international calling for $5 but on close inspection of the fine print, it says in 32 countries and only landline. Was useless for me because I wanted to call mobile in pakistan and this country was not even included for $5. I think they said I would have to buy $15 international on top of a plan- which is a ripoff.Overall staff was friendly and I was offered a free water bottle. To conclude, it is good for families and people who are transferring from other major carriers like Vzw or T-mobile. Before making a decision, always read everything in fine print about their plans; check their website before making any trip to the store so you know if any deals are available.

Ignore review from Patrick Onoranto... they had excellent service skills and were an awesome help when i transferred my number from boost. a young guy named nick helped me as another girl set up my phone and they were very nice and polite even though there was ghetto trash in the store cursing and getting irate with them because they wanted to be next in line and demand free stuff with a store full of customers.. they held their cool even when people started acting like animals and even made the angry customers smile.. dont listen to what other people have to say about this store they obviously didnt get what they wanted so they go online and slam this store instead.. everytime im in there they are swamped

Unfortunately I have to give a star cause one forced to! Went into this store around 715 with my cousin to help her with switching service and getting another line! Not only was it very unprofessional atmosphere as Nicholas sessions trashed talked the company while he also had a trainee there! But its almost closing time and theyre rushing us and there job so we all can get out mistakes are made and getting charge double because your in a hurry to get out is not ok! One byop and one new phone! New phone automatically comes with the SIM card for service and the other doesnt as we ported over a number! And not only were we charged double for a SIM card he also change the price for the 19.99 case for the new phone to 25.00 bucks!! And talk about annoying phone calls as his my angel calls the personal phone the work cell and the store phone!! I personally wouldnt recommend going to this store and would recommend colonie center cricket instead because the girl there was awesome when I went and help my mother transfer from boost and pic out a new phone ! I get customer service I have done it for years! I work for a dealership now and if we close at 9pm and some one comes in for a car we sell them a dam car! Why Cause thats our jobs and we love to make money!

If I could give this site 0 stars I would. I wasted over an hour dealing with these clowns... 5 times!!! (Thats on me...) The service reps never know what theyre doing, the computer always crashes, the manager is never available, and the employees literally lie to customers... I heard an employee say a phone had an octo-quad core (32 core...lol) processor which literally does not exist and say the phone had a super better camera. They are incompetent imbeciles. The service reps are misleading and whenever you have a real issue theyre default is were just a subsidiary... call cricket. Theyre not worth the trouble or wasted time guys.

Where do I begin? The manager Nick and the Assistant Manager Ashley CONSTANTLY smell like weed. I went in to activate 2 lines for myself and my wife. We were being helped by ashley while Nick was outside buying phones off of customers.They are extremely unprofessional and charge insane fees. i was charged a 35 dollar activation fee, when research shows its supposed to be 25.I will never go to this location again and I recommend to the rest of you that you follow suit unless you like unprofessional atmospheres and being charged crap fees.

The service was above and beyond 100% Cameron is the man I want to help me when it comes to my cell phone.
