Apple Store at Woodfield Mall, it is located on the second floor by Lord & Taylor, next door to T-Mobil across Lucy Brand, ..Now they are Open for Express service Only!!. If you are planning to go to this apple store location be prepared for waiting online, because it’s an express service only, the line waiting it’s goes kind of fast but it is a constant waiting line.

I went in to get my phone display repaired. Every part of the process was easy, efficient, professional, and clear. I made an appointment for later the same morning, was immediately checked in upon arrival and waited about a minute before the technician came out. The technician was respectful, listened to everything I had done to try to resolve the situation, had knowledge of the needed repair and was able to give me clear and precise pricing up front. He answered my questions directly and clearly, and did not try to pressure me into any decisions. I received a sticker with a bar code and pickup time for my phone. I returned at that exact time, was checked in immediately and my phone was brought out to me after about a one minute wait. I was able to quickly pay with credit card and be on my way with my phone issue repaired. The entire experience was excellent from start to finish.

Drove 30 minutes from Park Ridge and came to purchase a phone. Was advised I need an appointment to purchase a phone and the nearest appointment is for tomorrow, I kid you not!!! Is this an attempt by Apple to see just how much they can F with us? It’s an attempt to see how far are we willing to take it up the A? Mind blowing ... Process takes 30 seconds and the lady was just completely nonchalant about it while she was standing around

Bob, the genius is GREAT!! I purchased a MacBook Pro and it wasn’t working correctly. I initially called tech support and they were not helpful at all. The Woodfield location was the only location with a next day appointment, so we drove over an hour.The first rep assigned to us was rude, had no clue what she was doing, and had poor customer service. I complained to the manager, Adrienne, and she assigned Bob to help us.Bob was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and attempted to identify the cause of our issue. Within 15-20 minutes, Bob had identified the problem and had my MacBook working!!! And, it’s been working fine every since.Thank you Bob!!! I hope you had a wonderful 10 Year Anniversary Celebration 🎉 🎉. Apple and the Woodfield location are very fortunate to have you!!

I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max. My ear speaker went bad, just stop working. Best Buy did a diagnostic test and it show as failing. Best Buy had the screen to replace it. However Apple will not allowed Best Buy to change it. I have to bring it to an Apple store. So off I go to Apple store in woodfield. I get there, the store isn’t busy by any means. The store clerk then proceeded to tell me that you need an appointment. Which I understand. However they were not busy, I need my phone for my job, and they refuse to fix it. I have been a loyal apple customer. Now I can’t stand Apple!!! They absolutely suck!!!

Thank you to Adam for being the one sales person willing to help us out. Some background, we ordered an iPad that supposedly would be ready from 7:30-7:45. At the entrance the 7 employees standing there chit chatting, told us oh just wait until the email for pickup arrives and that it will be ready that day. So we come back an hour later at 8:30 after wasting time waiting for the email. Finally I ask a kind sales person, Adam, to check the order again and after checking the back he says unfortunately its not going to be ready that day due to processing taking longer for my online order.Unlike the other people, Adam was helpful in suggesting we can cancel the pick up order that is processing and purchase the items directly in the moment.We wasted time because the other employees failed to tell us we could just cancel and buy on the spot. THANK YOU ADAM!!!! If it were not for you we would have left without the iPad.

Come on APPLE, you cannot turn your customers away if don’t have an appointment. Even a smallest of the business would reserve some availability for walkins. I walked in to store without an appointment to buy a new iPhone for my wife. I was turned away with answer…No Appointments!!. Why can’t anyone just walk-in to shop. And this happens not just once….

Took 3 iPhone 7’s here for new batteries. They rejected the battery replacement of two of them for no rational reason in my opinion. One iPhone had a scratch and they said I had to buy a new screen because the screen might break as they opened it. I said if that happens then I am ok to just junk the phone. They refused. The other phone they claimed had stripped screws and they couldn’t open it. We took both phones down the hall from this apple store to a kiosk just 50’ away and they replaced the batteries in both iPhones in 30 minutes for lower cost. Apple ‘tech’ wouldn’t escalate to management and instead offered to make another appointment to talk to someone else. I sense the management culture of the Schaumburg store is one which you would be best to avoid. Customer is always wrong as we are APPLE.

Wish I could leave zero stars in this experience apple has been so unresponsive and unbelievably terrible when an Worker installed malicious software on my phone never go here unless you can’t avoid it. At least make the Trip to good people at the deer park location. Temporarily destroyed 15000 in computers to have some fun very unprofessional.

I was told by Apple support to take my series 5 Apple Watch to the store to be mailed in, it’s stuck in power reserve mode. They said it’s a free repair due to the fact that it’s caused by an update. We drove 2 hours to bring this watch to this store, the first guy we worked with Damien had no clue what he was doing, brought his leader over, Adrianne, she wouldn’t honor what they said on the phone or what was in our notes. I asked to speak to someone higher up than her and was told no. Between the two of them, it was the worst customer service I’ve ever received.

Went there last year and even though my Mac was out of warranty, they still helped get my Mac up and running while I was there. Now, while they still were willing to look at my Mac for another issue, they said they would have to look at it over the course of a day or two. While I understand COVID-19 is making things challenging, but it would not have taken them long to look at it. I ended up figuring it out myself in 10 minutes once I had the time to really look at it. Still very thankful to them for all their helpful support.

Lot of angry customers due to delays. The security put me in a line without hearing what I had to say and on the third time of saying he says oops wrong line and had me wait more in the right line. Noticed two pregnant women in line and they were not even offered to step out of line and get some sort of assistance they were made to wait jus like any other customer. I would personally have atleast asked people in line if they would be ok if they skipped the line

I had an iPhone 7Plus and was in perfect working condition. Apple did a few updates and then my phone would not work. I tried to get an appointment but they were booked for 2 weeks and they dont make appointments after 2 weeks. What rocket scientist thought of this during a Pandemic. I got a nice woman on the phone on a Sunday and she got me an appointment for the next day at the Schaumburg, IL store the next day. I went there and they gave me some guy who played around with my phone and it still didnt work. I thought I had a genius bar appointment and all I had was a store employee appointment who knew nothing and I still had a broken phone. Also there were other customers in the store with the same problem so the update broke their phones as well. I went up to the manager and told her what happened and she told me it was not her problem and walked away. I stood in the store with a phone Apple broke and then before they let me purchase a new phone they told me there were to many people in the store and told me to leave without a working phone. I drove back to my house and went to the AT&T store to purchase a phone since I need a phone for work and for life and they had no inventory in the store. They were polite but a phone store with no phones. They ordered me a phone and without knowing it come with a company called enjoy and they never showed up. I had to go back and wait for 3 days until they got me a phone so a total of 3 weeks with no working iPhone and Apple assumes no responsibility. Also there were people in the AT&T store with broken phones caused by the updates. Horrible customer service from Apple. My children who work in the silicon valley have stopped buying Apple products before this happened and I will also. When companies get to big their service becomes terrible. My next phone will be a Samsung. I loved the ones I had before and will go back.

Very bad experience.Waited for 1 hour to get the appointment, after temp check stood in the line for more than 35 mins, had to quit looking others were sent in who took appointment after me. It all depends on how much you are going to expense there, they take inputs while making appointment for you so they know you are there just to browse or to buy. Depending on that they let you in, or else you keep standing in line. I saw there were 4 to 5 agents just standing and chatting but not attending customers. They are not selling hundreds of products where they need special agents in every section.Very unprofessional and defeats the purpose of having Apple store to look at the products, touch and feel them. They are just behind your money and and prefer who spends more.If Apple.com is reading this comment please change this behavior.

Terrible Customer Service. Made appointment with 800 apple care was clear we had 2 phones and they made appointment for only 1. We drove an hour away cause there are limited stores. We got there 1hour early tried to get in earlier but the physical agent at store holding Ipad said nothing earlier but they saw our appointment time. I clarified we had 2 phones, I was assured that there would be no problem cause there was no one after us. Never asked us to book the extra appointment. When we arrived for our 4:25 appointment they would only help 1 phone (and barely did that). Would not budge and would not have employee apologize for the disservice. When we found out the screen could not be repaired and we needed to pay for replacement we realized the phone had information that needed to be backed up. The store would not help us with that and we were told we needed to exit the store and could try mall wifi. We tried for an hour and a half. When done we made the exchange of phones. That night we realized after activating phone that the back up did not work. My son was devasted! We called the store immediately before the store had closed but there is no direct line so we could not get in contact before they closed. We arrived the next day before it opened and were advised the phone had shipped out already. We called apple care to see if it could be rerouted or intercepted to find out that it indeed was still on the shelf! It was ready for Fed ex but still sitting on the shelf. We went back to manager in store and she still refused to give to us. We contacted Fed Ex and they said she just needed to cancel pick up and reissue call tag. The manager would not! This all happend Saturday, now 2 days later the phone still sits on shelf and is not picked up from Fed Ex. clearly no sense of urgency. This all could have been avoided with some customer service. This review does not allow for 0 stars to submit. what a crock

Utter waste of time. Support team at this location doesn’t have knowledge about all the issues. They just do factory reset for everything. I visited twice and still issue exists. We got screened and allowed into the store. We told the security guard and the manager that we were asymptomatic, meaning without symptoms. When we were getting our phone evaluated and fixed, the manager was extremely immediately kicked us out of the store. We were confused as to why and the manager did not provide any clear information with updates and what was going on. I do not recommend doing business at this apple location.

I went in because I had to press my space bar harder than usual for it to work. I left with it not working at all. So I left with my computer in worse shape than I brought it in. I am a full time student and cannot send my computer in for over a week. They have no solutions for this and he shrugged when I stated I was upset that he broke the spacebar more than it even was and cannot even be used at all now.

During the Pandemic Apple is a horrible experience! It took too long to set up an appointment. Then I waited way too long in a line. And my biggest issue is they wouldnt give my money back on a mouse I purchase a few weeks ago. I was never made aware of policy that they wouldnt allow a full money return on anything more then 14 days after purchase. You would think that during a world wide pandemic they would be more forgiving on this policy. Not Apple.

Came to this location of the Apple Store right after the iPhone 12/12 Pro was released. The place had a huge line outside in the mall area due to COVID restrictions. I had already gotten a new phone online and was just trying to get the new MagSafe charger. I decided I would get in the ropes and see what the Apple employee had to say. I told her what I wanted and she said she could take care of it. She had someone bring the charger from out of the store, checked me out using an iPhone device, asked me if I needed anything else, and I was on my way. I got what I needed without waiting for more than a few minutes or going through the line to get into the store. I thought it was a great solution for a busy day in the COVID age.

The worst Apple Store in the world. I bought 3 IPhones 12 Pro Max online to pick up at Woodfield Mall. When I went to the Apple Store to pick up the phones, the assistant told me that there was an issue with my purchase and I should call the support to cancel my order and take the line to buy in store. And then, I tried to take the line, but the shopper said that I had to make an appointment online. Resuming, I’ve done the same thing for a couple times and gave up.

The service of this store is horrible! Me and my husband were forced out by the Senior Manager Chris 2 mins after we get into the store. We were asking him about the possibility of an approved discount in our special case. Without communicating with the apple sales department, he told us its impossible and he said we have to leave HIS PLACE immediately if we are not buying anything. This is absurd!We tried to tell him that he has no right to do that. This is not his private property. The land belongs to the U.S.! Every citizen and resident has the right to stand wherever they want. Especially when I made an appointment for 15 mins at least. We were not having fights with anyone in the store, we did not break anything. He forced us out with securities 2 mins after we get into the store. He acted like a bully. When we asked for his name, he tried to hide that. He called for his backup and he said he is the boss of all people here.While I was on the phone with Apples senior customer representative, she told me that there are other store managers who should let us in, because there is no company policy that simply does not allow customers to walk or stand in the store even if we are not buying anything. As we were speaking to the other manager, the Senior Manager Chris walked straight to us and stood behind the manager we were speaking to. The people who we were speaking to immediately changed his attitude and said he works for Chris here and he is the boss.The staff told us they felt sorry for us, but in this store, they have to take Chriss orders. It sounds horrible to me as if he was abusing them or training them in a sort of weird way. The girl who was first helping us was shaking next to him when we were arguing. The girl was trying to speak for us, but he cut her by saying, I am the boss of all people here. They all work for me! Now you should leave MY place.I am pretty sure that Apple owns the store, and the country and people own this land!

I had the worst experience at this store. They way they handle things and told me that issues are expected out of your new machine was so ridiculous when you pay a huge amount to buy a so called robust machine called macbook pro which cant even handle google chrome and one application (photoshop) at a time. The guy told me the fan noise and heating are expected (Wow) on phone and i can take my laptop back. Also, their behavior was so bad and rude at the store that i couldnt even talk to the guy who gave me back my laptop. They changed their statements. First they told me they diagnosed it and everything is running fine and you can expect the issues because of your usage pattern. And upon asking what if the problem comes again because i was facing them today itself, he told me we have fixed the issue but they did not change anything in my laptop and ran only few tests. My issued were not persistent in nature but they are so regular and i believe it did not happen at the time of diagnosis because of their irregular behavior.Initially they told me your case is strong because i have been getting those issues for the past 6-7 months and you can get the warranty and blah blah.

Same as the most visitors, extremely rude senior manager Chris... He told us that he is the boss there and he will not follow any other laws than his owns. He violated a federal law and when I asked for my rights he forced us out with the words If you are not buying, leave MY store immediately and call in store security. As I saw, he treated other customers in the same way. It is a huge embarrassment for Apple to let this guy to be in charge of a store.

My iMacs logic board went out one month after the warranty ended.I was told it was cheaper to buy a new one then to get it fixed. I was not even offered store credit toward the purchase of a new iMac.$3000 for a computer to last a little over a year is terrible.Ill be making the switch back to windows. That way if something breaks at least I can replace the part and not the whole computer.

The employees were very nice and attentive to fixing my device’s display. If only they actually fixed the display. We waited and hour for them to replace the display, only to find out that there was a speck of dust under the front camera glass. ANOTHER hour passes as they put in the third display that has ever been on this device. I get home to find that the “new” display has the same problem as the original. Well done Apple.
