Green Joe is one of my favs! I have been there multiple times. Coffee is fabulous! Seasonal coffees are divine!

Fantastic place for great drinks and excellent vibes. I must mention the staff; so friendly and attentive. Oh, and they have a most excellent drive-thru service -- they will get you the drink thats best for you and get you on your way.

I ALWAYS love Green Joe Coffee. Everyone is super friendly! All of the girlies there are absolutely the sweetest, the rushes are made to perfection, they are outstanding artists (coming from me another artist), and also very transgender friendly along with the manager!They let a cars & coffee specially for Lancer Evolutions host there every Sunday! The manager handles everything super well even when happiness is harder to give when things get super busy at the little cafe.My word to the community, and the hard workers at GJC....I give them WAY more than 5 stars for how hard they work and the quality of their drinks and snacks, as well as their kind, and rare mentality. This team seriously deserves every ounce of respect and kindness from every customer regardless if they simply mess up to being busy. Definitely give these hard workers your money if you like coffee and energy drinks. BETTER THAN STARBUCKS!(Also, try out my Rush flavor I helped curate. Cali Breeze which is a blue razz, strawberry Rush its absolutely delicious!)

1st time going love the variety of drinks Im huge on coffee drinks and immediately loved the drink I had I know it was called something with Mac and they gave me a pup cup for my fur babys. Great drive thru service. Will be back!

Stopped one morning at around 8:10 am and the whole process only took about 5 mins. No wait :) Bought two cold brews (one with almond milk) & a muffin & a scone. The coffee was not bitter at all and very easy to drink. Very good! I liked the muffin over the scone. Give them a try and support a local business!

My daughter who is in the picture with the beautiful tattoo was treated so poorly by this customer that the person in the car behind the screaming/irate customer was yelling at HIM to move out of the drive-thru. No person should be talked to like my daughter was talked to by this guy. And the picture of my girl on the phone is her calling the police. People are so mean.

If you love well sourced coffee and food, go here! They offer dairy free, gluten free, and vegan coffee and snack options. The desserts looked amazing and the coffee was to die for. Prices are equal to or less than Starbucks. I think I found my new coffee stop!

The line for the drive thru was out the parking lot so I went inside. The staff is super friendly and helpful when you cant decide what to get. Definitely will be returning for a Turtle Joe! The garlic and herb scones are worth a try. You wont regret it!Update: Gotta try the muffins... fluffy yummy clouds.

Coffee wasn’t too bad, got an iced chai latte this time. Howeverrrrrr the drive thru takes so long! You need at LEAST 25 minutes of spare time so plan accordingly.

Coffee is good. Atmosphere inside is kinda off inside.The people working only really engaged with their friends that were visiting.I was kind of ignored for a minute and waited around. It really felt like i was an inconvenience. Im not looking for perky customer service or overly friendly, but i just dont want to feel like theyd prefer if i didnt come in.

This coffee shop is a hidden gem. I would highly recommend their Americano. The espresso is from Peru it blows away the quality of espressos from the large coffee chains.

Sustainable, local, and wonderful! Green Joe does its best to serve the area in green conscious ways.The products are unique and yummy! With vegan options and a variety of drinks, this is one of the few alternatives to Starbucks in the area, and it is definitely worth a visit.

If you have ever experienced Dutch Brothers coffee places out west (Oregon) then you will love this local shop. It has the same vibe and their service and quality of drinks are excellent. I like their cold brew blueberry tea and their hot Chai Latte (not sweetened and made with almond milk).

They do not understand espresso based drinks. Bad. But environment friendly cups were good choice. Over priced on everything.

I ordered a small sugar free energy drink that took 25+ min to receive. I love the product but something needs to be done about the wait. I asked for a medium and was told they are running out and “using them sparingly” which not sure what that means? If i had been someone else would I have gotten the coveted medium size cup? Staff was very overwhelmed and seemed inexperienced and everyone was verbally stressed and were making orders wrong and when asked what order was next, they didn’t know. Other customers were angry as well even stating they would not be returning. The 2 other times I have been here there was no line and the experience was incredibly positive. I truly appreciate the dedication to hand crafted drinks however if you want people to be regulars, there needs to be a change.I really want this place to do well and hope something gets worked out soon because the product is excellent. Best of luck, I hope the next time is a better experience.

Although my typical go to is just a black ice coffee, the taste itself separates itself from your corporate owned coffee giants in every positive ways. Awesome first visit, the interior is beautiful and the machines new and shiny. The owner let me know there were a variety of specials. I had a Scone & Iced Coffee, as of this writing $5.The iced coffee, sweetened with vanilla syrup, had quite the fruity notes. You hear a lot of “floral notes” from coffee afacianados and I think this is what they’re talking about. I caught an good buzz off of it, and it had just the right amount of ice cubes.The strawberry scone I had was voluminous, and packed a ton of flavor for its size too.Definitely give this place a try.

The woman who took my order was very polite and informative about the items on their already extensive menu and mentioned that theyre working on adding even more! I ordered the iced turtle joe latte and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! I cant wait to see what other specialty drinks they come up with! Green Joe has just made a life long customer. There was so much anticipation of what this newly constructed building was going to be in the neighborhood for a couple years, and this place has lived up to it! Ive been here a few times now and its always been pleasant...great coffee and smoothies, great muffins, bagels, and scones. The staff is very friendly and you can tell they take pride in what they are doing!

The coffee was great. The Cinnamon Roll flavored latte I had was not overly sweet and was all around really tasty. The indoor decor was rather cool and the staff were all amazing.The cafe does offer a Baristas Choice drink which I thought was also a nice change as I get really indecisive sometimes!There is a Drive-thru, and curbside pickup is offered through the app as well.

This place is awesome! It was my first time coming here and my experience here was an 11/10! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The lady at the drive thru was very welcoming and engaging. The drinks here are delicious and cheap. I recommended getting the Elderberry healer tea and the tropical sunshine smoothie.

My Husband and I love this coffee shop!! Weve made it a tradition to stop by every saturday morning! The coffee is always delicious and customer service is fantastic! Highly recommend!!

After going here a few times, I can gladly say I am impressed not only with their beverage quality and wide variety of creative drink choices, but with their authenticity and passion towards customers! All the baristas there helped me find exactly what I wanted and wouldn’t let me leave until I found something I actually enjoyed. You can see the joy in what they do! The Return of the Mac (macadamia nut and chocolate I presume), is my personal favorite! I’ll keep coming back. Keep it up guys!

Green Joe Coffee is the BEST coffee I’ve had in my entire life!! Not only is the coffee of an extremely high quality, but the staff is so incredibly friendly, kind and helpful. The cashiers make a point of engaging in real conversation with the customers, creating such a meaningful sense of community. They offer a giant menu of coffees, teas, kids drinks, energy drinks as well as muffins, scones and cookies!! So far everything I’ve tried has been seriously amazing and the menu is just going to grow!! Never heard of a coffee shop so determined to cater to each customers individual preference!! Would give them 10 stars out of 5 if I could. GJ customer for life!!

Explain how this is acceptable- I get into line and sit for 30 min.thus far- literally writing this review while not moving inside my vehicle. No menu posted. People going around handing out samples but not taking orders. Still NOT even had my order taken yet and the line is not moving. We can’t leave the line because of the design or call to see what the hold up is because this business hasn’t listed a phone number. I’m diabetic, took my insulin prior to prepare for a sweet drink, and am stuck here and can’t even leave. Who waits in a drive through this long? It will probably be another 30 minutes because they are taking orders at the window! Not even a drive thru speaker. What is the phone number to speak with someone in management? This is completely ridiculous.Additionally the website is down so I can’t find any contact info or even a menu so we can be prepared to help speed up the line.

Good coffee and giant cookies. Long drive through times since they just opened and given the pandemic make sense. We will continue to go here. Glad the place opened! Wife said the drive though lady was wearing a mask when she went so the earlier review must have made them change for the better :)

This place is obviously ran by a bunch of kids in high school. The wait is always at least 15min even if there is nobody else in line. And if you ever order a sandwich you are almost guaranteed that they will get it wrong.

The coffee is outstanding and the current food offerings are equally as good. I’m not bothered by the wait times right now because we are in a pandemic and they just opened. They are good people and want to make good quality drinks for everyone. This isn’t a Starbucks. If you want the Starbucks experience go to Starbucks. Green Joe is awesome and I’m sticking with them!

Been to this place 4 times already and absolutely love it! I actually am so shocked to see that there have been some terrible reviews from customers saying the wait time has been long... do they not realize this is a new local place trying their best to get a whole new set of employees trained?! Or that they were giving away free coffee?! Of course the wait time will be long, and as a matter of fact I hope it continues to be long because I am excited to finally have a local coffee place to give my business to. Each time the staff was friendly, offering me different options and explaining to me that they can customize drinks for me! Where else do employees tell you they have 100 different syrups to make custom drinks?! I hope that these entitled customers hiding behind their keyboards don’t negatively impact Green Joe. Keep up the great work!!

Excellent quality and variety of drinks/pastries. House made milk alternatives (almond/oat/etc...) Many Vegan and Keto options. Staff is Very friendly and polite. Prices are very reasonable and much less expensive than some of the ‘big name’ coffee shops.To anyone concerned about the long drive through lines and wait times, I’d like to remind everyone that this place literally just opened up and I believe is still technically still in the middle of their “soft opening”Remember they are brand new and offer a fantastic product at a very competitive price.Great place, I am thoroughly impressed and will continue coming back daily!

I went during their opening promotion and got a free coffee! As busy as they were, their customer service was excellent!! The women at the window was so sweet and talked to us while we waited a moment. Beyond excited to try more from this coffee shop, including all the pastries! I also looked at pictures of the inside and can’t wait to hang out in there (since covid we just went through the drive through). What a great location. Definitely coming back for more!

Went on day one soft opening with my husband and we fell in love! We love a good cup of coffee, small businesses, good customer service, etc. Green Joe seriously checks each box. We have also tried some of the muffins and all are delish! So happy Green Joe is here in Schaumburg :-)

I ordered the iced coffee with caramel syrup and cream. It was smooth and refreshing! The syrup is not as sweet as Dunkin‘s but this was great for a healthier alternative. The line moved a little slow, but my coffee was made fast when I got to the window. Totally worth the wait! Can’t wait to go back!

Something about their coffee makes every trip worth it. You can tell it is freshly handmade with care right when you order and every order. Been going through their drive-thru for 3 days in a row and now getting ready to make it 4 before work!

Highly recommend Green Joe Coffee on Schaumburg Road! We drove up to the drive thru unknowingly after they were closed for the day and got to speak with the owner and he and his wife happily made us some coffee drinks. I very well may be departing from my beloved Starbucks after this experience 🤪

I ordered a black iced coffee, who I assume is the owner said if he could make me an Iced Americano. I agreed. I regret nothing. He makes liquid art. Best iced coffee I have ever had. Also, I showed after close not knowing they where closed. They still served me. Fan for life.

I just had Green Joe Coffee for the first time, and I am so pleased with my experience! After eyeing their store since construction, I finally decided I would check out their menu and downloaded their app. Despite being a local venue, their app was super easy to use and I was able to customize my mom and Is drinks effortlessly! I was also surprised with a free tumbler when I pulled up for curbside pickup and the man who gave me the drinks was super nice. Our drinks were delicious and I will definitely be coming back soon. :)

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I love everything about it. When I pulled up for the first time through the drive through, I could see the compost area in the back and it pulled at my heart strings, Green Joe really IS making an environmental impact that they claim to be doing - some places do the same but you dont see it. You can see it and taste it(not the compost, the coffee haha). I love that they have vegan and gluten free options. I love that the coffee tastes so good and the staff truly care and want to make sure you leave happy. I have visited often since they opened and will continue to drive out of my way past multiple other coffee chains to visit. It is totally worth it. Last week, my husband and I went through the drive through and requested a bagel. We did not even realize we came so close to closing time and the ovens were turned off. They let us know and we were totally fine without the bagel but they insisted we pull around while they heat it back up. We pulled around and waited just a few minutes before someone came out and asked if we wanted to come inside and check out the space and meet the coffee shop pup. UMMMM... YES!! We went inside and fell in love with the space and the employees even more as they showed us around and explained the local shops and artists they are featuring. It made my heart so happy to have a place that cares so much about the local community, the taste and quality of their products, and giving back to the community they serve and the environment.Thank you for coming into my life Green Joe, I will see you every week.. multiple times : )

I’ve been here several times over the past couple of weeks and every drink has been delicious and made with precision. My entire family is happy with the staff’s friendliness and service through the Drive Thru. What made me write this review today is the experience I had with mobile order. The app is user friendly and every drink is entirely customizable. I pulled up in front of the cafe and didn’t even have to call! My order was brought out immediately like they were awaiting my arrival. I’ll never stop coming here; thank you Green Joe’s 💚💚 PS: if you’re looking for a great pastry, try their chocolate coconut scone (I believe it’s gluten-free + vegan).

I wouldn’t recommend this place honestly. I went there and ordered 2 caramel macchiatos and they tasted like straight up water. no taste of caramel, vanilla OR coffee at all!! I emailed them and the owner emailed me back but wasn’t polite and made me feel bad about THEIR drinks not being made well!

If you enjoy specialty coffee and an awesome atmosphere with friendly baristas then this is the place to go! I will definitely be coming back!

Ive been to the drive through a few times and the staff is friendly, but theres no menu posted anywhere and the drive through wait is anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes which is unacceptable. While I want to help support a local business during these troubling times, not having a menu hinders what Im able to order as I have a severe allergy. The drive through wait is too long when youre in a hurry and can go to Starbucks and wait for half the time. I so enjoy the coffee and would love to come back, but not having a menu and having to wait for 30 minutes makes it too hard to continuously come back.
