I got rear ended, called BMW roadside assistance and got connected to this auto shop. Even though I live an hour from Schaumburg, I trusted them and let them handle the repair since they were “BMW certified”. A week later, when I picked up the car and pulled into the gas station to fill up the tank, I noticed that the front bumper wasnt pushed in. I called them right away, and they could say to me was that their “tech” left at 3 PM and they work only during the week, in which I am unable to bring my car in for them to look at it. My work hours overlap with theirs, and I can only bring it on the weekend but thats not an option. Now what do I do?How is this work worth more than $4k?They didnt even bother to make sure all the parts were pushed in. This is very frustrating and unprofessional.

Have only gone in for an estimate so far but for the time I was there, all the people I spoke to were very helpful and polite. While waiting for the estimator, the staff walking by made sure I was being taken care of. The draw back is the parking lot. It was small, cramped, damaged and full. I had got there very close to opening and the lot was full with seemingly no customers there at the moment and it was cracked and broken up in some areas. Overall though a decent experience so far.

I brought a brand new BMW X3 from Patrick BMW in September 2020. Within a week car was damaged in a hailstorm. The car had light dents due to hails so, I took my car to the Patrick BMW collision repair center for repairs. Taking it to them for repair was a big mistake. They took ten days to repair the vehicle instead of the five days that they initially promised. No updates were given meanwhile unless I called them.They delivered my car after the repair *without giving me any kind of walk-through*. The car was *dirty* and it had *scratches* and *swirl* marks all over the places. They asked me to come back later for getting it fixed (Please refer to the receipt). If this wasnt enough they recommended buffing my brand new car which as per specialists *causes damage to the car paint*. Things didnt end here. *Water is seeping* in my car (refer pics/videos), moisture is getting accumulated in the car all the time, *door fittings are loose/damaged* (please refer videos), they used *strong chemicals* on my car *without my permission*, *moonroof fitting isnt proper* as it was before on my car and *it has gaps*.Please avoid taking your brand new cars here. They dont seem to be doing proper inspection of the car and delivering them haphazardly to maximize their profits. Giving the customer car back without even offering a proper walk-through of the car is not acceptable.BMW AAA BMW M

Update from 8/31My car was returned and driven to the city after speaking to the manager. Things looked great except 1) my parking stickers were removed and now I can’t legally park on the street until I get them replaced. 2) the product stickers were left on the windshield which require removal with some sort of agent that removes adhesive 3) my drivers side mirror is not adjustable as it was before the repairs. Just more time wasted with this company.—————————-Patrick Collision pf Schamburg has had my car in their repair shop for over a month. For the past 15 days they have claimed my repairs would be completed in a few days. They have given me three different days when they have expected the car to be completed only to push the date out by another 3-4 days. It took them a week to even provide which services the car would need. The are so unprofessional and can not adequately scope the timeline or statement of work. My insurance provided an estimate which they went over budget by over $2k. When I have reminded them that they promised my car to be completed by whatever first date they gave me, they first blame other vendors and then they say they need the time to make sure the car is up to Mini standards. They seem to have no ability to predict how long repairs take and then claim quality will suffer if they were to deliver on time. I have no idea how a business can operate like this? I feel like I am being backed into a corner! If I ask that my repairs take a reasonable amount of time which they promised, I’ll receive a poorly repaired car. I have brought my car here 3 times because it’s next to the mini dealship and it’s certified. Never again, each time I’ve experienced enormous delays. This is just ridiculous.

2-3 day estimate/job took 6 days. It was a small scrape that I would ignore if they other guy wasnt paying. They had the highest estimate by far, and again, Im not paying, so why not. Its the Cadillac place has to be good. Extremely poor communication. Multiple calls. Call you back in 5 minutes, 2 hours later I call... Sorry forgot. Twice. My first update on the car came thru when I got home with the car already done. Happy I didnt get the rental insurance, that alone would be $100 out of pocket. Great place if you looking to test out a rental for a few weeks.

My 2017 custom made Mini Cooper S was rear ended by a large moving van on June 8th 2020 and I brought it to the Patrick Collision Center as I had purchased it new from Patrick Mini in Schaumburg and have always been impressed by the Sales and Service customer service in the past. I was treated with respect, concern and total understanding of my anxiety that my beloved car would ever look perfect again and Anna assured me she would take care of everything and restore the vehicle to it’s original condition. Anna Lynn, Estimator/Consultant at Patrick Collision Center Schaumburg handled all the insurance claim process and communicated with me every couple of days as to the progress of the repair and was professional and a pleasure to work with. Anna also was true to her word and I couldn’t be happier with how my Mini looked and drives after the repair was completed. I highly recommend Patrick Collision Center in Schaumburg, Anna Lynn and the team of technical staff who did an excellent job!

Horrible experience repairing my car here. From the extremely long time it took (6 weeks to fix a bumper) to the poor quality of work, to the horrible customer service. Their staff, especially Tim Odachowski, have no respect for the customer’s time or concerns, complete lack of respect or communication. I have had an open issue i have been trying to have them correct for over a year now which they verbally agreed to correct under their “lifetime warranty” for repairs but fail to own up to....what a nightmare. If you have a BMW, please go elsewhere. The service here is not up to par with BMW and this should not be a BMW certified facility. Any other shop would be better than this.

I have been hesitant to write this review for quite some time now, in fear of making my situation with Patrick Collision Center worse. On March 22nd 2019, 3 weeks after I had my daughter, I was hit while driving my Cadillac that I lease from Patrick Cadillac. Thankfully, the only that was hurt was my vehicle. I shouldn’t say thankfully because, since then my car remains at the collision center. My daughter just turned 5 months old!During the past 4.5 months, we have been told everything under the sun about why we still do not have our vehicle. First it was a part that was on back order, then it was a paint issue, then it was an assembly issue. Finally, my boyfriend and I had had enough of the excuses and went to Patrick Cadillac to see if we could get out of our lease and into another vehicle. Patrick Cadillac’s response was to get us into another Cadillac that was $200 more than we currently pay. Luckily, we got a call from the collision center that our car would be ready at the end of the week. That was six weeks ago and we still do not have our vehicle. I have been contacting the collision center every week since then and continually get the same response that our car will be ready by the end of the week. Latest, the beginning of next week.At this point, we have exhausted all of our resources trying to get our car back. We went into Patrick Cadillac today to see again, if we could get out of our lease and into another vehicle. And again, their response was to offer another Cadillac that was more expensive but this time, we would need to put $5000 down in order to get the car. We can not afford that. Did I mention that we are still paying $450 a month for a car we do not have?Today, I was told that there is yet another part back order and there is no eta to get the part or have our vehicle back to us.I have called Cadillac customer service multiple time, contacted the insurance company, visited and called both the Patrick Cadillac and the collision center to no avail. So, now I’m turning to social media. If you have any tips of how to best handle this situation, please let me know. Although, it pains me to continue to waste energy on this situation, I will continue to call and write everyone until this is rectified. Wish me luck that this all comes to an end soon!

Very long story short, this was the worst customer service and communication I have ever received. I turned my car in on a Monday and was initially told that it would take approximately 9-10 days to fix my car. I had not heard from or been updated by the collision center by the following Tuesday and called to see when I could pick my car up that week (anticipating it to be Thursday or Friday like initially discussed). During that call I was told that the process had been delayed and that they were waiting on my insurance company to approve the supplement request so I would probably have to wait until the Monday if the approval went through the following day. I then decided to give my insurance company a call and ask what had been taking so long, only to find out that they had not received anything from the collision center yet. As a result, I called the collision center back and was told that they had been waiting on their technician to look at the car and that was why it took them so long to get the supplement request to the insurance (side note: my car was returned to me with the check engine light on, so not quite sure what the technician looked at). I called the insurance company back and they noted they received the supplement 10min prior to our second call (after my first call with the collision center). My insurance company called me within 24hours to inform me the supplement had been approved.Thinking everything was in place I didnt call the collision center back until Friday morning to see if I could pick the car up that day or Monday. I ended up having to leave a voicemail, which was only returned on Monday morning telling me Tuesday or Wednesday would be when I could pick up my car. I again never received an update so called on Tuesday to see if I could pick up my car. The mechanic working on my car was not there, and as a result I was put in contact with someone who told me that my file now said Friday was the expected date. After having enough, I requested to speak to the manager who apologized for the poor communication, that they would try to get the car back to me ASAP, and give me an update the following day. No one called me the following day, so I waited until 3:30pm to call them and ask for an update. They ensured me they would try their best to get it to me by Thursday.I finally did end up getting the car on Thursday and was finally called with the update that morning that it would be expected to be completed, and then again when it actually was completed.Over all, I was very disappointed. I do understand that the initial time quoted to me is not always the guarantee but based on the damage done to my car, I do not believe the time it took to fix was reasonable. Other than the fact my check engine light was on when the car was returned to me, the body work was great quality and they valet cleaned my car to the point it felt brand new, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, I cant say I will be returning or recommending to a friend.

Tim Odachowski and his team did a fantastic job on my truck. It looks better than the day I bought it. The customer service was outstanding. They had answers for all of my questions and I also received numerous updates on the progress of their work. Overall I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The truck was done when they said it would be and when I picked it up it was spotless inside and out. I highly recommend Patrick BMW if you ever need a collision center.

Don and Tim worked like a world class team during the holiday season to estimate repairs and coordinate with the service center for the completion of the mechanical repairs and their collision center for the body work. They also worked closely with the insurance adjusters to be sure that all work was authorized and paid in a timely manner. Tims attention to detail caught everything from the corrected wheel alignment down to the tow cover on the front bumper. I wouldnt have my BMW collision work done anywhere else.

Terrible. My recent experience with the BMW certified collision center at Schaumburg was unfriendly, unexpected and unprofessional. I called them on Thursday 09/04 to make an appointment to estimate the repair cost for the damages on my car and specified on the call that the damages are results of the accident I had; the lady from the collision center asked me to come over on Saturday(09/06) for the estimation. She didnt ask me any other details – like my insurance details. I drove 20 miles to get there and then the lady representative at the center asked my insurance company. After I told her that I have Allstate Insurance, the lady replied that the person who deals with Allstate doesn’t work on Saturdays so estimation can’t be done. She asked me to come again on Monday 09/08. I then questioned her that I could and should have been informed the same when I called on Thursday so I would have planned accordingly instead of wasting all my Saturday morning to get at the collision center.Instead of a polite reply to make the situation better and being supportive, the lady rudely replied that I could have informed her about my insurance in advance. I was surprised by such a comment from her; how would I know that there are different people for different insurance companies and the person at the collision center dealing with Allstate doesn’t work on Saturdays. I didn’t just show up there, I did call them beforehand to ask what day I can come in there.At the end, she asked with the raised voice if I would want to come back on Monday or not. I wonder if it is actually how all the customers are treated.

I wrote a review a bad review on my old account for Patrick Collision center About two years ago on Lucymeltravel account. Well I didn’t know they responded to me, well after I saw it I contacted them after it’s been 2yrs and spoke to the manager, it just showed me how professional and serious about their business. After some digging in my old repair file and insurance info, they wanted to make it right. Now that we have moved to Florida how will this work. Well I found an amazing body repair shop here and they worked it out with them to fix that was needed. Patrick Collision center was so professional and understanding, they had it repaired and paid for the full repair themselves. What a class act!!! Truly a professional outstanding body shop in Illinois. I was so wrong about them... Vice to people that ever have any problem with any repair shop call them tell them the problem work it out before you move don’t lose faith give them a chance to fix what was not properly done or was overlooked. Thanks a lot Patrick collision center I’m grateful and thankful!

Poor customer service, body work OK.Started off as a happy customer; until I placed two unreturned voicemails to the estimator for an update.It wasn’t until my insurance company phoned me to let me know the car was ready for pickup.The body work was good, but not great. There are several bubbles in the clear coat....Instead of asking the customer to respond to you, maybe reach out to them?

Edit: after sending me to their collision center for a wet sand and buff it has come to my knowledge the car was re painted almost completely while they had it without my consent! I called and asked to speak to the GM and was told he would call. He had the gentleman that sold me the car call me and ask questions about the situation. And he stated I would receive a call back. NEVER GOT THE CALL. Having a brand new car with 4250 miles on it repainted is a joke. The value has diminished completely. Plus the GM VICTOR wont even call me. I warn you do not go here.Had car for 3 weeks for paint work. Then they lost my phone number. The buffing work left holograms and trails all over my car. The paint looks worse then when I brought it in. The manager said hed wax it. Lol thats not gonna fix the issue. They do horrible work and would not recommend. Their horrible buff job will cost me easily 1k to fix that I will have to take out of my 401k to get. Now my car needs a full paint correction when it has 3000 miles on it. They have in experience people working on very expensive cars. After my vehicle is done correctly elsewhere, you bet my lawyer will be calling. I brought my car to several places after and every place I took it to laughed at their work and couldnt believe they would even return a car in this condition.

Rather than repair my car which was rear-ended, Patrick Auto Collision introduced more damage that was not detected until almost 2 years later. A major part that needed to be replaced, and which they said they replaced, was not replaced. They used the part that was in the accident. This was uncovered inadvertently when I began having a problem with the audio system and its connectivity this past June. The car has been in another shop for almost 3 months to correct the damage the car sustained while worked on at Patrick. They discovered rust in the trunk and water in the amplifier, but this was not the extent of their negligence. Though they replaced the amplifier, the last step following taking my car apart, fixing it, and putting it back together, the problem with the connectivity persisted. Through a process of elimination, it was discovered that one of the speakers had melted. This appears to be connected to some soldering done in that area, without protecting the speaker by removing it. I will find out today if replacing the damaged speaker will solve that problem. Their negligence is shameful. They should not have a license to operate. Luckily, State Farm, which handled the original claim, covered the repair work, continue to cover it, until the problems created by Patrick are resolved. And you can be sure State Farm will go after Patrick to collect for a repair job that exceeded $8,000. But the damage to my vehicle, which was less 6 months old when I was rear-ended, now remains immeasurable.

This was the worst body shop i have been to!! i got into to car crash i took my car there and they told its going to be a 4 day fix!! after i called them asking for my car back they said the part has not came in yet!! i waited for the car calm!! after fews i call again for the car they still did not have the car ready!! my insurence said this is a 4 day fix for the car and they approved a car rental for 4 days!! i got the car back in 2 weeks!! i had to pay out of pocket for the rental days ($271) and also i ALMOST LOST MY JOB!! I called the insurance, They told me that the shop did not do the paperwork for the car until few days ago! Thats why they can not give the car back!! IM NVER buying anything from Partrick dealerships and using there collision center!! I hope everyone reads the review!! aviod this shop!!!

Not a typical customer, I was coming home from a week at the lake with my young children and dog when I blew out a tire on my boat trailer. I was on the highway and struggled to pull this rig safely off the highway and out of the way of traffic.To my surprise I stopped right in front of this establishment. I went inside and explained my predicament, including that the remenants of the tire were wrapped around the axel. Anna Lynn was at the front desk and immediately called a technician from the shop named Dan. With a smile Dan told me he could help. In under 30 mins, Dan and his crew cut out the bad tire from the axel, aired up and mounted my spare!Many thanks to this crew, they went out of their way on a 100 degree day to get us safety on our way!

Started out fine but then Sam stopped communicating with me for reasons unknown. Someone named Alma refused to help get a message to them for me with an excuse that didnt hold water when pressed for clarification, and someone named Angela that when she answers the phone and is asked a question, immediately puts me on hold leaving me wondering if we got disconnected. I went to them specifically because I had experience with the Patrick Volvo dealership and service team, even though they arent very convenient. Next time, I will make sure I dont go out of my way. I will be using Orloff here in the city for all of my needs now. Would advise others to do the same.Update:Following the reply from the owner, I have emailed as requested and await the reply.

The worst body shop ever! Estimators use bad language, come out of the office with food in there mouth while they try and talk to you. Over priced for bad work. Every car that leaves that body shop that gets paint work done has over spry all over it. If you bring your car in be ready to have your car there for a very long time. Very slow work. If you get your car worked on there please look over the car because they leave most of the time with extra damage in other areas. Patrick BMW Never warp the cars once they come in to get work done, dust everywhere. Please please please dont get your car worked on there if u want professional work, go to a small family owned business if you want professional work.

Brought my Cadillac to Patrick BMW Collision in Schaumburg after an accident and cannot say enough great things about the service I received. Don Kuhlmey and his staff went above and beyond in keeping me informed and up to date during the whole process. My car looked perfect and I was pleasantly surprised that it was also detailed inside and out to showroom quality. Called about car on website. Told it was there and worked out a deal (this was for about a week) and to come in to test drive. When I showed up they said the cars engine is bad and they wouldnt sell it. Never saw the car. Asked about another car I inquired on and told it was gone too. Emailed a couple of days later and was told they had the car and come on in to test drive. After I confronted them on this issue they said they sold it. Sounds like a BAIT and SWITCH to me.. and as i write this dealer still has these ads up. Better Business Bureau here I come.

I gave you a clean car ( washed twice a week) and you gave me back a dirty car with bird poo on it. Great service! So much for entrusting you with my $80k car. Service was too long for a minor cosmetic work. Loaner was a beat up Hyundai, cracked windshield, worn out breaks and wobbly front wheel. Smelled like sweat in it! Oh by the way, the loaner is not free. I bought this expensive car from you and I am giving you my repair business. Thats not free to me. So, if you own a BWM and want to be treated like a Hyndai owner Patrick is your guy. Otherwise, run somewhere else.

I will never forget my experience with these people and the Enterprise car rental agent (They have a store in the same facility) because it was probably one of the worst experiences in my life. Its very hard for me to write a professional review about them without resorting profanity.So I brought in my accident damaged car for an estimate and after talking to one of the guys I left my car to go pick up my rental from Enterprise. I was taken to the car where the agent proceeded to scare me into choosing the Enterprise sponsored car insurance which I flatly declined. He then made me sign the rental agreement and didnt even bother telling me to check the vehicle for damages considering the way he dealt with me later when I dropped it back.Now the damages on my car werent really major but they still managed to take almost 3 weeks to deliver it costing $3000 more than the initial assessment which was $1500 plus my deductable of $500.I was still completely cool with all this until the point when I returned my rental at Enterprise where the same guy ended up identifying a dent under the rear right-hand side passenger door. He reminded me that I should have listened to him and opted for the enterprise car coverage which wouldve costed me $20-30 extra everyday. I tried to tell him that I didnt do it but it didnt change the fact he wrote down a change of car condition report and took my insurance details for making another claim.On my way back after the ordeal my steering started vibrating and my car displayed an engine overheated warning. Looking under the hood I found that these geniuses had screwed up with reconnecting my coolant reservoir to the engine and somehow all the coolant in the car had drained out.When I called them up I was asked to locate the nearest enterprise in my area which was 2 miles away frm my location. They sent out a tow truck after few hours had my vehicle taken back to the shop.This took another day and a half to get sorted out and just when i thought everything was settled things got worse while returning the second rental with the same Enterprise agent. I dont know what was his problem but this time again he identified some scratches on the front and rear bumpers and proceeded to type down a report without even going over it with me. It took me another 2 hours and couple of photos trying to call Enterprise complaints dept and getting in touch with his supervisor to make sure I didnt get scammed again.I have never seen such un-professionalism anywhere on a business transaction. One of the guys in Patrick even had the nerve to ask me if I had refueled the second rental because they would only cover the rental charges for it. It was like as if they were doing me a favor even when they were responsible for not doing good job on the repairs.Like many previous reviewers point out I would highly recommend going elsewhere in Schaumburg than choosing Patrick for repairing your vehicle. You will definitely save money, time and effort by not dealing with them!!!!
